The staff was responsive and very friendly. They remembered our preferences and made it easier at mealtimes, etc. The chefs were knowledgeable and always willing to share tidbits to make the food even more appealing! The service to reheat leftovers from room service was a BIG PLUS for the Oberoi. Thank you!

Our 10-night stay at the Oberoi had many positives, including attentive service, but also some disappointments. The rooms felt small, there were no decaffeinated teas, housekeeping was occasionally inconsistent, and despite our extended stay, we couldn’t secure dinner reservations at Wabi Sabi or Rim Nam. The food, while adequate, did not quite match the quality we’ve experienced at the Four Seasons or even the neighboring Taj. It also took a few days for the team to adjust to simple requests—such as combining two filter coffees into one cup—and we once received a cold mutton curry, which went unaddressed. We also noticed some inconsistencies among the staff, with small extras not always offered uniformly, even to guests with identical bookings.

My time at hotel was nothing short of magical. The room offered a perfect balance of comfort and serenity, with beautiful garden views that made it feel like a peaceful escape. The private balcony was the ideal spot to relax, whether I was enjoying the fresh air or simply unwinding after a day. I felt truly at home here, with everything I needed to work or just enjoy a moment of calm. The thoughtful touches, like the in-room technology, made everything feel effortless. It was the perfect place for both relaxation and a peaceful retreat. I left with a heart full of gratitude for such a beautiful experience.

Overall, everything was fantastic, but just a couple of small suggestions to take it to the next level: a bubble bath Jacuzzi style in the spa bath would be amazing, and maybe swapping the shower head for a rain shower would be a nice touch. Adding a couple of USB sockets for mobile charging could be super convenient, too. Also, the balcony lighting is controlled by the hotel as part of the exterior facade, so having a light there would make it even more cozy. Just some ideas to enhance an already great stay – nothing to complain about, really!

We felt truly cared for; the staff were warm, attentive and made us feel like family. The food was exceptional; we ate heartily every meal. A special highlight was when the chef created a mutton biryani just for us (not on the menu) and personally delivered it, it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Dinner at Rim Nam was unforgettable, with some of the finest dishes I’ve tasted. The pool was pleasant and the gym well equipped. Every detail from hospitality to dining to facilities made our stay outstanding.

The only minor drawbacks were the pool being colder than expected despite being temperature-controlled, some confusion around ordering alcoholic drinks - the in-room menu didn’t work and staff weren’t sure about availability - and the lack of dedicated children’s play areas, with not much for kids to do on the property. These were small hiccups in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Our three-day stay at The Oberoi exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly cared for — the staff were warm, courteous, and genuinely happy to assist. The service was flawless, a true 10 out of 10. The hotel’s grounds are breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and meticulously maintained details — every walk felt like a journey through an oasis of peace and beauty. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed in every way. The atmosphere of the hotel makes you want to stay longer and ensures you will want to return. For our family, this has been the best hotel experience we have ever had. Our heartfelt thanks to The Oberoi and all its wonderful staff for making our stay unforgettable.

Everything about this property from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with so much warmth and care. The gardens on the property are stunning and the room with it's balcony was beautiful. One of the things I both loved and appreciated about my stay was the careful thoughtful gestures like fresh fruit and additional water refills. At turn down the team surprised me with some selfcare gifts such as hand cream, lip balm and a roll on perfume - I so appreciated it. The restaurants on site are also incredible and the breakfast buffet was insane. I had the best dosa's for breakfast. Such a beautiful stay, I only wish it could have been longer!

Nothing - it was perfection!

A small step outside this Hotel is a total attack on the senses with the constant honking horns and the endless traffic jams with every vehicle travelling in any direction if only to gain another metres advantage. But once inside the desert island that is the Oberoi your taken to to a place of politeness, indulgence and colonial luxury and you could be anywhere your imagination will take you. We stayed in a double correctly advertised as 30 square metres but perhaps a little small for two adults and two cases but if we went again we’d probably go for something a little larger. Nevertheless it had everything you could possibly want and was spotlessly cleaned and well serviced. Air conditioning, plenty of clean towels and fresh bottled water, fresh fruit and as is the norm these days- dressing gowns a slippers. We used the gym which was very well equipped and came with great changing rooms with nothing forgotten allowing for a refresh after a workout and the steam room was a nice add on. But alongside the gym was a spa of high repute. We are truly blessed that we have been able to travel and frequent plenty of spas, but I can’t praise Julie high enough for her skill and expertise in reliving my aching limbs with a Balinese massage, I was totally chilled for the remainder of the day. The catering at this hotel is of a very high standard, we came across the food and beverage managers on several occasions who like captains of a tall ship insured that not a single wave would stop the catering boat from travelling along its pre determined perfectly plotted course. The food of course is mainly Indian of the highest quality, but there are plenty of European alternatives. I truly believe that you could ask for any menu requirement at all and the Oberoi and its army of chefs would do the best to deliver. In summary this place delivers service excellence in the middle of intense, insane India, but if you’re going to brave it in Bangalore you really should go here.

From beginning to end, staying at the Oberoi was excellent. Staff are incredibly courteous and well-trained, with all manner of accommodations being made. I sincerely appreciated them trying to find me a reliable stream to watch a sports match! Enjoyed the offerings in the hotel including the bar and restaurants, as well as the spa and pool. Breakfast was very nice indeed, in relaxing gardens. Would return very happily to the Oberoi in the future. There was an issue with the room TV which the staff managed to fix late in the evening. Could not be faulted.

Everything. The staff was charming and very professional. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Great touches when it comes to design and amenities. Instant hot water was very much appreciated. The bathtub and shower with a steam option were also very nice. Having a butler was a treat for us. We usually look at less expensive options but we are so glad we decided to splurge a bit and it was well worth it! We would return to The Bangalore Oberoi in a heartbeat!

No Gin in the mini bar but other liquors were included. India has wonderful gins. We've been trying them for the past 6 months and it would be nice to have them represented in the hotel room mini bar. Also, since you have nice gins in the restaurants, perhaps you can include a nice Indian tonic to go with them. Schwepps is commonplace and has too much sugar content which can overpower many gins. We've been impressed by the quality of Indian tonics.

We stayed at the Oberoi for 5 days in June 2024 and it was an amazing experience. Although the hotel is now a couple of years old they managed to maintain the building and rooms according to their high standard. Particularly the garden has become so much more beautiful when compared to our first visit 23 years ago and it somehow is a timeless place that made us feel being back home even though the city around has changed so much… The best and most unique part that makes this place stand out of the lot of high end hotels in Bangalore is that the hotel has a soul. This is mainly due to the amazing staff. They are keen to find any solution for any question/request/problem you may encounter. And there was always time for a little personal chat and exchange of information. We had a minor problem with our room on level 1 but that was taken seriously and dealt with in a professional manner. So, thanks to all of you at Oberoi, from the guys at the gate and Abhishek at front desk to the pool service team and everyone else for a great week, but special thanks to Aravind (F&B), Rahul and lovely Asayi. Their service was exceptional and the degree of personal connection was spot on. And of course Amrietsa (?spelling) from room service who was always around and looked after us so well. Hope we will be back.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Oberoi for 9 nights. I booked for a Premier “Balcony” Room (41 square meters). The room was beautiful and comfortable. This room had additional features of steam cubicle & walk in closet. I loved the Toiletries of Forest Essentials (Luxurious Ayurveda) body lotion and shower gel; the toiletries were delicately fragrant not powerfully perfumed. Attentive Staff: - Staff were the highlight of my stay. Staff were eager and willing to give what is needed to guests. All guests will surely feel well taken care of. I appreciate the hospitality I and my cousin received from: . Lady / SHWETA (the queen of hospitality from day one) . Chef / lady MASUMA (super pleasant and extremely generous) . Chef / lady ANKANA (super gracious and very accommodating) . Mr Nishan a young man from Assam, was sweet and kind. We exchanged gifts. . Surroundings: - The garden was lush with flourishing foliage and a Rain tree of over 125 years old. The dining was fab as well, breakfast at Lapis was delicious, with well flavoured Indian items.
