Something about the images spoke to me, and I’m happy to say, the real thing exceeded expectations. Tucked away in a quiet corner and embraced by lush, leafy trees, the property greets you with calm elegance. The moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into the very heart of what a boutique stay should be. The accommodation is on the first floor, accessible by lift or stairs—but I suggest taking the stairs. Beautifully crafted with character and charm, they not only delight the eye but also help burn off a few indulgent calories from the irresistible local cuisine. Step inside, and you're instantly transported into a lovingly curated space—rich timber furnishings, vintage touches, shelves brimming with books, and an atmosphere that whispers, “you’re home.” It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience, one that gently blurs the line between the past and the present. The property has positive vibes due to the way it is constructed, lots of open spaces and greenary including majestically large trees. It is right in the middle of city and most tourist attractions including parks and shopping centers are within 2-4 km distance.

There is nothing which I did not like. The propertyis indeed very good. It will be greatly appreciated by people who are not too materialistic and looking for a quiter accommodation in the heart of the city.

Rooms were nice, the furnishings and wooden furniture made it very homely. Bathrooms were very clean. Excellent location in the centre of the city

A couple of more options at breakfast and a coffee maker would be nice to have, but otherwise it was adequate.

The location is so convenient being close to the town centre. the property was well kept and clean and the staff were so helpful. The breakfast could be made a bit more ' well spread', but nothing to complain about at all.

I am not a dog friendly person, so it would have been nicer if they were not let loose as they tried to pounce on me.. :)

Off one of the main roads in Bangalore so a brilliant location. Staff were fantastic and looked after us giving us additional things as breakfast we requested (breakfast was included). Rooms were a good size with a really good size bathroom too. Perfect for grabbing taxi's if needed and close to the mall and food courts too.

It was a little bit noisy of a night as the windows dont have shutters etc

unfortunately, we had to leave every both days, and thus missed the breakfast. The room was fine, and the people helped greatly in moving luggage up and down one flight of stairs. The AC worked fine. The bathroom was OK, with a decent shower. most attendants understood some English.

This was in such a great location and quiet area but 5 min scooter to MG road. Totally walkable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The common areas were nice as well, I was working while there and was able to sit on the terrace

The wifi was pretty good. It did get a little spotty in the middle of the night and my Zoom call kept dropping but they reset the router and it was fine the rest of the time I needed it.

The location was perfect—just a short walk to the metro, mall, and other amenities. My room was well decorated, spotlessly clean, and featured a great, powerful shower.

As a guest house, it would be helpful to provide information on local attractions, restaurants, cafés, and bars—especially for guests arriving later in the evening.

The property was accurately described. My room was spacious and clean. It was nice to have use of the iron, fridge and table in the upstairs communal space. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was tasty. Airport pick up and drop off and tours were easy to arrange. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood where you feel very safe.

Laika is a perfect tranquil hideaway in one of the busiest parts of Bangalore off MG road -- you wouldn't expect this lovely little place to be hiding here. Staff were extremely friendly and our room was roomy, comfortable, and charming. Lovely hot shower and modern bathroom. We were so happy with our choice to book here.
