I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Goodland Elegance Hotel in Trivandrum, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of luxury. The hotel is brand new, and it's evident that the management takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep. The hallways adorned with beautiful artworks depicting UAE and India added a touch of elegance to the entire atmosphere. The thoughtful design of the hotel impressed me; it exudes sophistication while still being comfortable and welcoming. The overall attention to detail in the hotel's decor and furnishings was truly commendable. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding restaurant. The food was nothing short of excellent. What stood out the most during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. I had an early morning train to catch at 5 am, and the convenience of having the railway station right next to the hotel made my departure smooth and stress-free. The hotel's prime location in the heart of the city made exploring Trivandrum a breeze. With major attractions within easy reach, it was effortless to immerse myself in the beauty of the city. I can't recommend Goodland Elegance Hotel enough. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, this hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and top-notch service. It is not very often that you get to stay at a place that far exceeds your expectations. The bed and pillow were comfortable, but the absolute highlight was the friendliness of the staff from the cleaners to Ratheesh the chef, who cooked delicious food for breakfast and like the other staff was very friendly and attentive. Special mention has to go to the front desk staff who were at all times very friendly and helpful and took it upon themselves to solve any minor problem. Thanks Pramod and Jesna…you are outstanding.

One thing that you should keep in mind is to avoid Room 107. While it is quiet and comfortable when the door between the lobby and the hall is closed, it is frequently left open and it is then incredibly noisy…enough to wake you from your sleep. I suggested to the Front of House Manager about how that could be easily fixed, and if he does it then it would be a great room as it is very convenient to the entrance.

Breakfast was good. Outside the hotel, there are some eateries as well. Location is good. Temples are nearby.

Room felt cramped.

The location was absolutely perfect for me—super convenient and easy to get around. The staff were exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Rajeeve, the CGM, was consistently available with great advice and support. Rashid, the AGM, was also fantastic—always ready to assist with directions and getting to new places. Ananthan at the front office was incredibly helpful, especially with booking rickshaws through my Ola app. Vandhana, also at the front desk, was a star—she introduced me to the Ola app, which made transportation so much easier and saved me both time and money. Nishant was very friendly and welcoming, and Priya in the spa was amazing—I had some of the best Ayurvedic massages ever. A big thank you to Ijas at the front desk as well—he was super helpful, especially during my checkout. he helped me with my suitcase that I had trouble closing, he also got me a tea from outside as the restaurant was closed. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a place in the city local to amenities.

I happened to stay at Goodland Elegance by chance / luck since the property I had booked before abruptly cancelled my reservation without any notification.!! 😡 I am more than glad that I ended up staying at Goodland Residency instead.!! 👍🏻 The location could not be more convenient. Literally a two min walk from the Train station and a short walk / Uber ride to most attractions. Blessen (hope I spelt that correctly 😅) at the front desk & the entire team including housekeeping and restaurant staff at this property were very polite, welcoming, helpful and considerate..!! The Air conditioning was perfect for hot & humid weather of Trivandrum and so was water pressure & temperature options in the shower. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was not only fulfilling but a different menu each of the two days I stayed. That doesn’t happen often.!! 🙂👍🏻 The room I chose was decent size for a solo traveller and very much like in the photos 👍🏻 Although the hotel is at a busy intersection, it is tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the main street in a small alley which makes it fairly quiet even during the busy rush hours. i’m The wifi kept disconnecting after some time of inactivity but the front desk was very prompt in providing reconnection codes even at odd hours.!! 👍🏻 I definitely recommend this property to business, solo & family travellers alike .! We really liked the rooms and the comfort of the beds. The AC and fans in the apartment were up to standard. The shower was very good and high quality. Our room was conveniently located right beside the hotel restaurant where breakfast was being served. The location of the hotel was great too - within the center of Trivandrum, only 10mins away from the airport, and just walking distance from many different stores and restaurants. Countless tuk tuks were accessible on the main street whenever we needed to travel to other areas of the city. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. They also connected us with their partnered taxi service which was very helpful.

We requested an extra bed multiple times, but instead we only got a blanket. Also, the room states that it has a 'sofa bed' but in reality it is just a sofa. When the shower is used the whole bathroom becomes wet and filled with pools of water. Breakfast was nice, Local and affordable, but could've been better.

The location was perfect, the room was very clean, excellent shower, good breakfast, very good air-con, friendly staff, all very professional, wake up call at 3:30 worked perfect!! An amazing place!!!

What doesn't fit to this professional place is the internet! We got a voucher which works only for short time, so you need to ask again for a voucher! We really don't understand, this is a lot too difficult, you do something on your laptop and after 2 or 3 hours it is finish?? I would suggest to change this, it doesn't fit to this place!!!

The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of water. The hotel is close enough to the railway station and bus station that the tuk tuk drivers will probably just tell you to walk there. The restaurant upstairs had good food and friendly service. There is a tuk tuk stand a few meters away for rides to the airport at any hour.

My room had no toilet paper and I had to ask three times before it appeared. They danced around letting me pay with more foreign credit card in a very bizarre way that made me think the reception people were not being honest about it.

Breakfast included staple South Indian breakfast items, bread and jam, cornflakes, milk, tea, fruits and eggs (made as per your order/preference). The buffet is simple and nice, hygienic and tasty. The hotel's location is one of it's best assets (within 05 minutes of walking to both the central railway station and bus stand, and a short auto ride to the Padmanabhaswamy temple). The rooms for single accommodations are quite spacious (bed would be comfortable even for 2 adults) yet very cozy. AC facilities were properly functional. The washroom was very well furnished and had hot water supply 24x7. For early risers and those who prefer to have tea/coffee as soon as you are awake (before the restaurant starts), the electric kettle and instant tea/coffee kits in the room are the perfect touch.

No negative feedbacks. However, if the staff could refrain from announcing the room number assigned to guest at the check-in desk, it would definitely be more condusive for the safety of travellers, especially solo women travellers. Instead, a suggestion would be to discreetly write down the room number on a small card/ piece of paper and hand it over to the guest ensuring no one around them (other guests/strangers) knows which room they have been allotted.

Room was very clean and the staff was very much cooperative. They were given a late check out till 5 PM that was amazing.
