It was a very nice stay, such a nice room even if not that big, I was alone so it was good but for two people it would have been too small. It was clean, I liked the smell, fresh. I loved the breakfast with good choices even for me who doesn't eat Indian spicy food in the morning. fresh omelette and fresh waffle with nutella, masala tea and nice fruits. Amazing foot massage! Really nice terrace to also relax in the evening with free tea and snacks.

Being such an expensive and international hotel, I wouldn't expect staff who doesn't speak English. The breakfast staff was really nice, but it made it impossible to ask for things such as another coffee, or the time or other info. I think this is a very bad aspect of the hotel as it is very important as a tourist to be able to ask and speak to the staff if you need something. The people at the reception, especially the women never smiled and didn't even say bye or thank you when I checked out. I felt unfordable when checking in and out. Maybe some more smiles? It helps to feel welcomed especially in such a nice hotel.

Sitting upstairs on the terrace and having breakfast was a great way to start the day. I love the variety of food, which meant that I could have something different every morning. The location for me was perfect and was in a safe area. I found it quiet central in the sense that I could easily go visit friends in South Mumbai and the Suburbs, and as well get to all my appointments on time and without hassle. The staff made me feel at home and I didn't have to ask twice for anything. They responded immediately to my requests. I slept very well because the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was clean!

The most disappointing aspect for me was the size of the room. When the room is advertised as a "Luxury Room," I really did expect it to be bigger. It was a bit too tight in the room for my liking especially with a Queen-sized bed. I stayed for 10 days and while I did have to be out a lot, it would have been nice to have more space to store things and also do exercises/yoga in the room. I think the term "Luxury" is a bit farfetched. I was happy that I had a table and a couple of chairs in the room, but it would have been nice if it was more of desk and chairs were a bit more comfortable, especially for people who need to work or are traveling for business. I quickly got over the size of the room and had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The room was bright, comfortable and it had all the amenities you need. Breakfast spot on the rooftop was excellent and staff was overall friendly. I would recommend the hotel to a friend visiting Mumbai!

The scent in the hallway was way too strong in my opinion. I did use the laundry service and they delivered my laundry at 07:30AM while I was still sleeping. Restaurant staff calls daily around 9AM to remind/ask if I will have breakfast and sometimes waking me up because of this call. TV in my room was having some technical issues.

I like everything in this hotel. I carefully checked reviews about hotels in Mumbai before booking as I am a female solo traveller. The location of this hotel is in a safe neighbourhood and easy to reach everywhere by Uber. International bank branch and cash machine with safe enclosure is next door. Breakfast place at the rooftop is great. Staffs are nice and helpful. Some earlier reviews mentioned small room size and the shower quality. I found no issue at all. The room I got was a good size for solo traveller, clean and nice decoration. The bathroom is very new and the shower quality has no flaw.

The lift is old-style with sliding metal doors. It operates well but the problem was just me that I don't get used to this type of old lift in old buildings, so I climbed up the staircase by myself.

This is a little haven away from the madness of Mumbai - excellent location walking distance from Chowpatty beach, but tucked away from the main roads.

Only minor complaint would be the size of the bathroom, as it was difficult to get in and out, but served our needs for one night.

The room was recently refreshed. There is snack time in the evening in the rooftop which is really nice. Hotel staff is friendly and always ready to help.

We did not have hot water in the shower but we did not ask for. A bit nosy because close to a main road.

Excellent breakfast selections, love that food are hot and freshly made home cooked local cuisine from the kitchen. Love all the little complimentary snacks and customer service was great! Excellent location to train station and bus stops, taxi easily hailed at front of hotel. Room was clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights, truly enjoyed it.

Although the room was great, we were unfortunate to have room facing the main road - and man was it noisy. We weren't able to leave the window opened. Make sure you ask for rooms that are not facing the main road, we noticed other rooms were much much quieter. The price was a little on the high side, but worth it!

Excellent location & the staff make the hotel, they are too good. Breakfast was also excellent. Small things made a difference: for instance a customer tried to tip individually but the staff put it in the common box. Some specially abled people have been employed just to give them a sense of purpose. I would go back here for sure

I landed from an international flight & am used to a certain size of room. The rooms are very small, you need reverse gear to get out of the bathroom which is all fine. The part that really troubled me was the shower, at this price, one expects a good shower that too after a long flight. The water is a trickle & the mixer isn't working well, so it gets too hot or too cold etc.

Hotel Kemps corner was such a surprise! It’s a quaint little hotel in the heart of Mumbai. You feel like you’re in a slice of heaven with greenery and the beautiful blue buildings. The reception area was so pretty with terrazzo tiles. There was a welcome drink, fruit basket, cold water and games. The staff was excellent… they went out of the way to help us from check in to check out. The room itself was so lovely. All the details in the room were well thought of. There was a little welcome basket with quintessential Mumbai things like the little Camy wafers packet and frooti. The powerful AC was a blessing in the Mumbai heat. The bathroom was well equipped with lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The closet in the room was equipped with robes, a safe and hair dryer. The hotel provided an iron and an ironing stand on request. Every afternoon there was high tea on the lovely little terrace and every morning there was a nice breakfast along with complimentary foot massage. The staff was extremely accommodating and never said no to anyone. One staff member, Sunita went out of her way to drape my sari for me and even stayed beyond her shift to help me. I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Kemps Corner and will keep coming back.

I can’t think of a single thing that I didn’t like about the property.

The hotel magically blends the classic old-world charm with contemporary style. Right from the entrance lobby, rooms, breakfast area to doorbell, lighting, cups and cutlery.. Little things like complementary Camey wafers pack in the mini-bar, or a foot massage offered by a lady who is visually impaired, lovely flute being played alongside a hearty breakfast go a long way jn building this experience!
