We stayed at jungle for ten nights and could’ve easily stayed longer! We were looking for a place with chill vibes and where we could work online. This is the perfect spot for digital nomads who need reliable Internet and a proper table and chair to work. Despite the occasional power cut, the Internet was always!! working. The hostel is super chill, social, and located off the main road. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is one minute away and due to the location you can hear the waves crashing at night. And if you’re too lazy, you can just go to the hostel restaurant which serves amazing food and the best coffee in town. 😍 Great spot - big recommendation ❤️

My friends and I had such a wonderful time staying here! The rooms were very clean, and I especially loved the personal balcony. There was also a sofa in our room, which was super convenient. Although we didn’t get the chance to use the workspace room, we thought it was one of the best parts of the hostel. The café was really beautiful too. We had a great time playing indoor games in the common sitting area with our fellow hostel mates. And now for the most exciting detail, there’s a secret-looking pathway right behind the hostel, just a 1-minute walk, that leads straight to the beach! It made it so easy for us to spend time by the beach and just relax. There were also plenty of shopping stores and restaurants right outside the hostel. We honestly can’t express enough how lucky we felt to have found the perfect place to stay!

Fantastic location literally about 30 seconds-1 minute walk to the beach and a couple of minutes from the main road with restaurants and shops. Comfortable beds and the rooms have little balconies similar to those you would get outside a holiday apartment/private room. There is a cafe on site with a pool table. Friendly staff. Loved that there was an additional full length mirror with a shelf underneath in the female dorm (unsure if all forms have them) as most hostel dorms seem to only ever have a bathroom mirror. Decent sized lockers under the bed (bring a padlock!) There is also a dedicated work area in AC room on the room terrace for those who are remote working

The only improvement would be curtains on the beds and individual lights

The staff including volunteers are so friendly , funny and wonderful people very fun always hosting events and fun nights for guests on the rooftop Great cocktail guy on the bar Comfortable large rooms Nice chefs making food until late when they work hard all day

Weird security outside . Forcing music to be turned down and sending people to bed at 12am . He made us feel uncomfortable as he was pressuring the staff and watching us until we went to sleep

Loved the location of the hostel. It's super close to the beach and the market is within walking distance. The staff are super friendly and help you in any way they can. They beds are comfortable, and everything is very clean. I even ended up extending my stay.

The AC in the dorm was in a weird position - they have bunk beds in the room and if you leave the AC on at night it gets super cold for the people sleeping in the bottom bunk (in spite of increasing the temperature). But you can't switch it off because then it gets super stuffy for the people on the top bunk. It was a bit of a hassle. I wish they would get normal ceiling fans as an option as well, so that the rooms can be ventilated if people want to switch the AC off or something - the fans now just don't help.

One of the nicest hostels I ever stayed in. I slept in both the female dorm and mixed dorm, both are great. Everything feels really new, clean (cleaned every day), and the dorms are well isolated. The beds even have a little rope thing that you can put your scarf on to make a sort of curtain. Especially the female dorm is really spacious. The staff is nice and they also organise a lot of free cool activities. Like bachata class, yoga, karaoke etc. Furthermore the location is perfect. It’s right in palolem but you walk from the main road through some bush and that feels much more relaxed, to be around green. And it’s just a 100 m walk to the beach without having to pass any shop or restaurant. Sooo nice.

The blankets sometimes smelled a little bit funky. So that’s the only thing.

The location is superb, you can literally walk barefoot for 1 minute and you will reach the beach. The staff are so helpful and accommodating and really made it feel like home. The shared room I was in was immaculately clean and refreshed every day with new toilet paper and clean floors etc

The only thing would be the mattress was quite thin and uncomfortable. Similar to other guests I found it difficult to find the entrance. If you are on the main round (before you turn down the main beach road) look out for a sign that has Mamoos. There is a wide alley way that leads you to the hostel

I had an amazing experience on my Solo trip at the Jungle hostel , Palolem. The hostel is at a few steps walk from the main Palolem beach! Also, it is situated right between the main Palolem market. The cafe serves amazing food and you can also just sit there and chill/work. There is also an additional workspace at the terrace . Wifi worked well. The staff were helpful and friendly. The crowd at the hostel was quite amazing, mostly solo travelers. Overall a very good and comfortable experience.

When it comes to staying in Palolem I would say don't think twice just book it, if they have availability. I have been to couple of hostels in Palolem , I can assure you this is the best hostel in the vicinity. The staff is very friendly, the location of the hostel is best just 10 steps from beach. You can just take a swim without a need to wear slippers.  I came here in December and here I came back again in Holi. I have seen the best celebration on both of the occasions. We played holi from morning till evening without any breaks whatsoever. People from other hostels were coming to play holi in Jungle as it was not celebrated anywhere else. I have played holi like I use to play back home as a child after a good 8 years.  I met some of the best solo backpackers here and made very good friends. Coworking space is also very well maintained and very good if you have to travel and work.
