Great location and amazing staff! Fridge in room was great.

Our room backed up to the fence along the road and had some noise at night that woke us up a bit. The room was beautiful but quite bright as soon as sun comes up. If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs and eye mask. Would have loved a kettle in the room.

Loved that their espresso coffee machine was on from 6am for sunrise sipping, excellent flatwhites made by Azian. everyday. Great breakfast from 7am, fresh fruit, fresh juice, Bali coffee, eggs etc. Could dine beach side or in the covered but open restaurant. Fresh seafood bbq with salad bar every night plus a la carte menu. Great music. Bungalows gave the experience of a real seaside vibe, basic but everything i wanted; good bed, hot shower, cold aircon. Excellent friendly, helpful staff. Thanks bossman Riadi and his amzaing team Ari, Ebbah, Adi, Ella, Aira and Akli; you all made me feel so welcome, tampiasih :)

Love the beach bungalow vibe, walk out past pool and restaurant and boom there's the ocean. Room has a fridge and can get an espresso coffee at 6am while watching the sunrise; breaky from 8am. Cold aircon. Swam with two turtles right off the beach the first night. Found my beachside bliss Staff amazing; Ari, Ebbah, Ella, Azian and Adi take good care of me. I'm staying another 3nights!!

Nothing really. It's not brand new and has usual Bali quirks - small gaps around door so need to close with the key so door shuts properly, open air bathroom, I love this, could do with a lamp beside the bed.

I loved the location of this property. It really is right on the beach. I would wake up in the morning, grab a lounge chair on the sand, and watch the sunrise. It was in a prime snorkeling spot, as well, and there was a snorkel rental place right next door, which made it easy to wade out to see the fish and the turtles whenever I wanted. The bungalow I stayed in was very cute. No frills, but just what I needed.

There was some construction going on in the pool area while I was there, but it wasn’t too loud. I had quite a few lizards in my room, which didn’t bother me until one fell on me from the ceiling when I was laying in bed. Just know that, like many properties in this area, the structure lets in nature.

The staff were so lovely, the food was great, awesome coffee and super location with the beach right on the doorstep and lovely pool. Our family had a wonderful 6 nights here. The fishing trip and snorkelling trip they organised for us were brilliant. We swam with turtles and also caught fish and they bbq them (the fish not the turtles) for our dinner. Such a chilled and relaxing stay. Highly recommend a stay here :)

Nothing. Only comment would be that we much preferred our cabin with the open bathroom. The closed roofed bathroom meant it felt quite dark.

Everything about this place is a dream. I arrived after a walk from the harbor and got such a lovely welcome by the team. You’re right away in to island chill modus. The location is right at the beach and it’s where the sunrise is. Which is the best if you ask me. Also it’s located where you can snorkel and see a lot of turtles. And last but not least: the staff! What an amazing team. They really make sure you feel home. Included breakfast is great but also make sure you do at least once diner at sedjiwa. Fresh fish from the bbq and the best atmosphere created by the staff. I really love this place and will definitely come back.

I really can’t imagine something I didn’t like

We moved here after staying just down the road due to constant construction work noise and this place was perfect! Rooms were well lit with a nice seating area, great air con, lovely pool area, quiet setting with no construction noise and the staff were so friendly and served a great breakfast. This was one of the few places we saw that actually had plenty of sunbeds on the beach and a nice bar/restaurant area behind... And had the easiest access to swimming from the beach. Also a great spot for snorkeling with turtles. Would have loved to have stayed a few more nights. This side of the island is the nicest area for swimming and also has the best sunrise views. The west coast seemed very run down. Just a 20 minute walk to the ferry... And 10 minute stroll to see the sunset in the north (go to Pelangis bar when they have live music the band is fantastic!).

Cold shower and beds were too soft

The bungalow we stayed in was really cute with nice interior and the outside bathroom was really nice! Loads of room in both. We had our own outside area and the bungalows felt very private. The staff in Sedjiwa were very friendly and helpful. They helped us book a snorkeling trip and rent bikes for our stay. Would highly recommend getting a bike as it makes it a lot easier to get to further restaurants and around the island. There were plenty of places within walking distance as well. The breakfast was included with our room and there were plenty of options. The pancakes were lovely but I did try the cheese toast which was delicious as well. We also had a few meals in the restaurant lots to choose from, all very nice and reasonable price.

The staff here were such lovely people and made us feel incredibly welcome! They always had smiling faces, were polite and exceptionally kind and helpful. The location is one of the best on the island if you enjoy a more peaceful environment and superb snorkelling. We enjoyed the breakfasts here, especially the fresh fruit juices, and every meal we ate here was fantastic!

The place was really well priced. If people expect more glamorous interiors, they should spend more.

The staff is truly amazing. The position is perfect in front of the beach and the breakfast is really good. We booked it for 4 nights and ended up staying 9! The pool is also very nice. The restaurant was very good. We also loved to see that the staff was feeding some stray cats.

I think some details could be improved such as adding a desk in the bedroom or something to hang clothes. The bathroom was leaking and need some repairs.
