Excellent location, right in front of the beach, far enough from the centre that it's not noisy, but still very accessible. Breakfast was nice

The services and amenities felt a bit cheap for what we paid. Low quality towels, welcome drink is Coke or Sprite, the soap in the bathroom is from plastic sachets, which are bad for the environment...

We stayed for 4 nights in July. Very welcoming and friendly - run smoothly and calmly by the owners Tony and Julia and their local team. They set it up and have been here for many years and know how to keep you comfortable and informed. This is probably why they soon get fully booked - good places do :-) Situated on the quieter side of the island, with snorkelling off the shore, or from small boats. Very helpful with arranging transfers (the payment goes to the person facilitating it, not to the hotel - a nice way to support locals). Rooms are clean and comfortable - everything you need. You'll hopefully spend most of your time outside! Simple and delicious breakfast (included in price) and meals are available. Usual range of drinks and juices at the bar. Coral-filtered sea water pool is very welcome and clean. Games are available, also scooters and bikes for rent at reasonable prices. Snorkels and masks available to borrow.

The location is the best possible. Snorkeling with all kinds of fish and sea turtles just in front of the hotel. Masks for snorkeling provided by the hotel for free. Sunbeds available at the beach. Additionally, the restaurant has good local food and drinks for reasonable price. The breakfast is very nice with bread, eggs, fruits and coffee/tea.

We booked the room with sea view, but there is absolutely no way of seeing the sea from the rooms. I think it is not honest to charge extra for those rooms with view.

Location was fabulous! - my preferred spot on the Island for snorkeling. Everything you need - air-con, fridge, kettle, outdoor seating with garden surrounds, sun loungers on the beach,fan was a bonus. The concrete buildings stay cool & provide more soundproofing than your average bamboo hut. Loved the ecco salt water swimming pool for when it's low tide. Limited breakfast choice but it was very good - plunger of coffee & homemade bread, generous fruit salad. Attractively decorated. Lovely staff. Very laidback, chill vibes.

The grey looking sheets (didn't doubt they were clean, maybe use coloured?) & poorly presented toiletries didn't create a good impression. I would've liked a general waste bin as well as the one used for toilet tissue. No (working) bedside light.

Juliantos has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners Julia and Tony, along with the staff make you feel truly welcome. Special mentions to Arif, Sam and Rini for their excellent service. We stayed in a family sea view room which was clean and comfortable. The room was more like a two-bedroom apartment. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise and Mt Rinjani from the balcony. As mentioned by others the location of the hotel is perfect for people who want to maximise their snorkeling time. The waters just in front of the hotel are teaming with coral and sealife. We 100% recommend Juliantos and hope to return.

Just minor things, not deal breakers. Blockout curtain in the rooms. Also there is no tvs, which we loved!

Loved everything about this place. It's right on the beach, and the turtle point. The breakfast is nice. The room is adorable and useful, with both AC and a large ceiling fan, and a bathroom with a faucet for washing your (sandy) feet. - The WiFi is good enough for work. We haven't really used the pool because we love swimming in the ocean, but it was very clean. Outside of your room, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the garden, with palms and frangipani flowers, bamboo outdoor seating. We were comparing other rooms on the island and we're so glad we ended up picking this one.

I loved everything!

Location directly in front of an amazing snorkeling reef (30m out) was brilliant. We saw at least one turtle every time we went out. I was expecting basic accommodation, given its an island. Being in a family suite, I was pleasantly surprised with the large space we had and although not 'sparkling', it was reasonably clean. Included breakfast was limited but adequate and very nice. Very happy that staff were willing to accommodate dietary allergies (Coeliac). Tidal pool is VERY deep (first pool my husband hasn't been able to touch the bottom), with a shallower shelf for the shorter/younger ones. Staff were friendly, kind and helpful with questions and help when needed. Free to borrow snorkels was a lovely touch. Reasonably priced bike and scooter rental. Very responsive owners when asking questions prior to arrival. Would return without hesitation.

No cleaning or bin emptying during our 4 night stay. Had been told that bins would be emptied if we left them outsides.. If we were staying any longer, would have asked. Basic amenities (large bathroom with leaking taps every time they were used). 1 set of 'sample size' shampoo, conditioner, and soap. No hand towels. Had to ask for beach towels (which is fine), which were obviously discoloured/old bathroom towels. They weren't stained or torn, just not what you expect when you ask for a beach towel (and it beats me bringing my own!). Although warned that the track to the accommodation had some 'sandy' parts that can be troublesome for suitcase wheels, didn't understand HOW MUCH of the track was deep sand!

The property and the bar are great, the host and the staff were amazing! They helped us with every question, need and requests! Also good locations to the restaurants and bars with quiet evenings. Note about the beach: it is very great for cooling and chasing turtles and corals, but the tide is very low in the afternoon. Sandy only in the beginning, since there is a coral reef sorrounding thr island. Okay for morning swims and evenings though.

It gets quite hot in the night and the A/C in our unit was very loud. Beds are not that comfy. Even though the houses are well built they sre pretty basic.

Great staff and service. They were helpful with us and always available. The location is very good and quiet. A great plus is to have access to reserved sunbeds. The seafront is ok but there are slightly better stretches on the island. Breakfast is simple but enough. The laundry service was cheap and very good too.

The location was perfect right on the beach. Lovely shaded sun lounges on the beach with great snorkeling straight out the front. Breakfast menu was the same as everywhere in Bali/Lombok. Many don’t have freshly made juices though and the ones here were beautiful. Also the toast made from their own sour dough bread was a real morning treat. The owner Tony was a perfect host with friendly helpful staff. Great that you could refill your water bottles. Also had one of the best massages in Lombok.
