Its location. Great pool sun lounge area. Generous breakfast. Many restaurants adjacent. Lovely shaded gardens. Short walk to beachfront. Rooms and bed comfortable

Slightly tired in some areas. Bikes for free were in extremely poor condition to the point of being unsafe. Advertised gym did not exist. Nightclub across road played to 2am very loud. Front units were unbearable for noise from it.

Tradional Balinese rooms we love, Room 101 just fabulous, near the main pool and breaky area.More modern rooms also available upstairs….Overall, a fabulous stay, as close to our dentist, so convenient and peaceful. Great value for money, and as there were permanent expats living there as well as tourists, they were a fund of helpful info, insight re leasing in this great hotel,and warm, fun company! Staff very caring, helpful, immediate visit by the electrician when power compromised( my fault..🤭) Breaky staff attentive to our needs, even knowing how brown we liked our toast! One of my happiest Bali visits, and loved Sanur.

Parts inside as in bathrooms, a little tired, but that has no bearing on the overall enjoyment…..typically Balinese unless you want 5 star, which we don’t need.

Rooms are very clean and modern. Location isnt too bad just a short stroll down a back alley to the beach. Pool is nice at the hotel. Small buffet style breakfast its simple but was enjoyable.

Be careful of where your room is, if you are close to reception all you will hear is music from the street. Further in no issues. I stayed in a grand deluxe, I would recommend going just a standard room. Room types the same, just 'no.view'. my room had no view.. save the cash go for standard.

We landed during the massive power cut and the team made us feel so welcome! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Superrrrrrrr comfy bed! Lovely spacious room, with good WiFi. Nice bathroom and shower area We really enjoyed the breakfast, eggs cooked how you want them and around 8 other dishes to go with. Accompanied by fresh fruit juices & fruit platters. Sun loungers good, pool was okay but very deep steps to get in Beautiful kept gardens Fabulous location, great restaurants and bars so close by along with tbe beach! We would highly recommend this accommodation

Steps were dangerous We found the steps to breakfast deep and dangerous as no handrail. Along with steps into pool. Our stairs to our first floor room.. the banister was really wobbly so a tad dangerous. If you struggle with steps would recommend requesting a ground floor room.. we definitely will next time we return!

A bit of a musty smell but we did enjoy our stay.

Great find tucked between 2 big resorts close to main road, short walk to beachfront, shops, massage & Pepitos. Peaceful setting with accommodation choices from traditional villas to modern units. Our modern unit was quite spacious with king size bed, microwave n fridge, jug etc. Small pool as indicated in picture also larger pool at rear. Breakfast more than adequate with good choices. Had a very relaxed enjoyable week at Villa Puri Ayu, helpful friendly staff and good value for money. Would definitely recommend this place.

We moved units as first one was a little dark for my liking but that's a personal taste. Both units spacious and clean with daily servicing.

I wouldn't consider this a "destination" hotel, but I was VERY happy with my stay. I needed to stay in Sanur with a straight shot to the airport and this was great. The grounds and pools were lovely, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants are close by. Amazing value.

My expectations were low based on these reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a little rough around the edges, but perfectly fine for what I needed. The staff were wonderful.

I like this place because it’s not to exspensive. Older but I like the old sanur vibe that is rapidly becoming lost as new construction is taking over. Some construction during our stay but nothing too noisy. I have two complaints one the room smelled a bit earthy when we first checked in but was ok after airing out a bit. Two, the paint and plaster was bubbling and peeling in a few spots and needs to be fixed.

Great location for access to scuba diving! Appreciated the free breakfast buffet Bed was too firm and needed topper which they didn’t have so they gave me additional mattress pad which helped The tubs were cracked and the first room had leak After explaining several times it was fixed and no further issues

Tubs need to be better maintained or checked prior to guests arrival
