Grand Mas Hotel was absolutely a gem to stay at. It was like a little lot of luxury tucked away for a budget friendly price. The staff was amazing as I arrived at like 6 am from the airport and they prechecked me in so when the room was ready, I could get the keys, In the meantime they stored my bags while I hung out by the pool. The pool was small but lovely, and you can order from the restaurant by the pool if you wish. The restaurant was defiantly a high point. After busy day activities it was nice to be able to stay right next to the hotel and get food. The ambiance was wonderful as well were the servers. They had live music most nights singing western music mostly. (you can hear them from the rooms, till a quarter past 10 pm, but it didn't bother me). The room was small, but quaint and everything I needed. The AC worked very well and since it was a small space it cooled the room down quickly. The bed was firm, but comfortable and the pillows were the perfect amount of plush and squishy. They had elevators or stairs as options and even offered morning activist (though I never took part). In the room, there was a lock box that could hold a lot for your valuables. It held my laptop, camera, money, documents etc. and you can set it to your own personal code. In the room they have two bottles of water that are sealed that can be used to drink or used for teeth brushing etc. As for proximity, the location was great, to the left is the main Seminyak street full of shops and markets. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are a sensory person, but you will grow used to the chaotic shops and streets. Lastly, they have a place for your tai to park so they have time to help you with your baggage. I highly recommend this for families, solo travel, or anyone who is happy with simple but nice accommodation.

The only things that I could take note on for being a little bit wrong. The shower couldn't produce hot water to save its life. (I never complained about it) as outside is a literal sauna, so look cool showers were more refreshing that a bother. The shower door was a bit slippery, but just be aware.

As a female solo traveler, first time in Bali, I chose Grandmas for it's location - proximity to restaurants, spas/salons and the beach all within short taking distance. I liked that it had a restaurant as well, great food and service. I enjoyed hearing the live music while I fell asleep. I did use ear plugs, you can't expect not to hear scooters or other guests in such a dense area.

As with all of Bali, you need to temper your expectations if you're choosing cheap 2-star accommodation. It was great for that rating. The room is a tiny concrete box with no windows to look out, and no hot water, but it was clean and the location was perfect. My next accommodation is in a beautiful bamboo hut full of ambiance so I can laze around in the room, but it's more remote. Mix n match to make your vacation what you want it to be!

The hotels location is very good, both close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms have 1 twinbed and a bathroom the size is as they told -I guess 14 m2- but 2 luggages maybe hard to fix in the room. Breakfast was very delicious and staff was helpful about anything. Facilities such as pool and restaurant was very nice, evening music is actually pretty good. We travelled as a family and starting from the beginning the staff helped us a lot about any issue, check out times, info about the Seminyak so on. Also spa center at the 5th floor was a good choice for us as well, regarding the value for money the hotel is a good choice. We were pleased by the staff's interest and good intention.

The Hotel is a busy one, so the towels and some items such as got older in time but only a small issue.

Everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable, fresh towels and water every day, staff were really nice and always checking things are ok. The restaurant food was great, great location - quick walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants. One day we were met with a very impressive towel elephant and a lovely note! This really made my day :)

This hotel was very charming and I felt like I was staying at Grandmas house. The staff are very friendly. The room is small and compact. The lifts were fast. I loved the activities - learning how to make Jamu and Offering Baskets. The pool was great for relaxing and cooling down. The included breakfast at the restaurant was fabulous as it was freshly cooked and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. It is also a short walk to the beautiful beach.

The location was good, close to markets, beach and restaurants. Great service and staff were very kind and attentive. They offered breakfast during our stay that was very nice and coffee was awesome too There is also guest activities available to learn and craft goods from Balinese culture which was great to join. The spa on the top floor was a great experience and also good on price too. Overall an amazing experience and stay

The pool area location is out front but there is no coverage around it as its located right by the restaurant and its all too open to enjoy a comfortable swim. Hopefully better fencing and boundaries can be placed around it and maybe another entry point into the pool would be good too as it currently is a shared entry with the restaurant.

I have spend Five nights at GrandMas Plus Hotel Seminyak and I could have not chosen a better place were to stay. Perfect location (less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and in one of the main streets full of restaurants and shops). The stuff and professionals that work there were really kind,caring and nice to me. A perfect breakfast to start the day ,in which they care the client is comfortable with.In my case,I have some food allergies and they cared about,adapting the menu and they did all what was possible to make me feel good,what I really appreciate and value. Every single night you have music that you can enjoy while having a dinner,drinks or just being sut next to the pool. The room was really cleaned and has all the amenities you need.They change It and clean It everyday.And in case you need something the reception is 24h working. I can just say good things about this hotel,and I am so glad of have chosen It to spend these 5 nights. The professionals that work there(from the kitchen,cantine,reception,room service,car attendance,spa...)They made the stance even better! I totally recomend It and I am preatty sure I will go back in the future😊 Thank you so much😊

I love how hospitable all the staffs are. I'm a female solo traveller and I feel so welcomed and safe during my stay. I'm a frequent traveller and I know for a fact that this hotel's staff are very dedicated to give their best. This hotel is indeed a very good value since the location is in Seminyak where you can walk to the beach and plenty of shops. I love how good quality is the breakfast rather than having a buffet where quantity is what you get rather than quality. I looove Denyuh Spa that is inside the premises. They offer the best quality spa in 2,5 hours with just $25. I wish I could live here 😃

I stayed at Grandmas in Seminyak for two weeks as a solo traveller. I couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff in reception and the restaurant were absolutely divine, the room was kept spotless. All staff were friendly, ultra professional, kind and great at their work without exception. The food in the restaurant is wonderful, the breakfasts are lush. Live music every night and all good, but especially the band on Tuesday. I would definitely book to stay there again. Thank you to all. Location is great, near the beach, near shops, loads of restaurants and coffee places, laundry (so cheap) money changers etc etc

The breakfast was paid for at the time of booking the hotel but wasn't the buffet we were used to, rather a menu to choose from. The portion sizes were good and there was the option of purchasing additional meals if needed. We ate in the restaurant a few times for lunch and dinner because the food was of such high quality, also very lovely staff. The spa / massage centre was absolutely excellent.

We asked for a twin ground floor room and received an email to say they would try. It wasn't until arriving that we found out there were no twin rooms on the ground floor, only doubles.
