Wow, the staff is so amazing but an incredible hotel! The restaurant is especially good as far as the staff goes and the breakfast included is amazing. My favourite is the omelet that’s what I had every single day. I like that they have water and juice because water is usually charged for. I also did the cooking lesson with my brother and his girlfriend, and they were very attentive and very informative as well. After a complaint from other guests about a family members room they contacted me personally and allowed me to solve it instead of making a big deal about it and they were all very concerned about our well-being and were just amazing people. The pool is so comfortable and when we were there in the raining season, it was never busy at all. They have happy hour for drinks! The room was huge and romantic. I was staying alone, and my family members were staying in another room, but it made me wish I had someone to spend the time with! The room is amazing if you wanna be close to the monkey forest and in a quiet location but you have to take a cab or go down a little bit of a crazy road in between the monkey forest. If you want to get to main area, it only takes about 10 minutes. That is just part of the fun of Bali! There is a small convenience store on the same street and a great vegan restaurant next-door at the eco cottages. We tried several other restaurants around the area, and they were good too. What was amazing was the Laundry service cost? Basically nothing and it was just right across the street and down 1/3rd of a block The housekeeping staff is amazing they do service to downturn your sheets and bring you in a mosquito coil so you are comfortable on your patio! Lovely!!!!! If I forgot to go to breakfast because they know I want to eat breakfast every day they would call me and remind me which I appreciate it so much ❤️ they even waited for me. Perfect restaurant! Great room service, and the minibar had the best prices you could imagine.

Nothing really. In some rooms the Internet didn’t work as well but when we told them about it, they fixed it immediately!

What a gorgeous older style hotel! I arrived to a very warm welcome at about 7pm. Checked in with ease and was then taken through beautiful lush gardens to my room on the ground floor. Up a few steps to the patio with a little table and two chairs with a mozzie coil already burning, the wooden door secured by a large padlock. Then inside to a large room, princess bed with mosquito net, small bar fridge, a desk, and a couple of chairs and coffee table. The sunken bathroom was spacious with the most enormous bathtub, I only wish I was there long enough to use it. 3/4 floor to ceiling windows provided a view of the outdoor area which is walled and very private. Body wash and shampoo supplied. The aircon had been running and my room was lovely and cool. Two small complimentary bottles of water daily. Towels smelled amazing! I had a comfortable sleep and the next morning had breakfast a few steps away by the pool. From memory there were 4-5 options each of Western and Indo. I stuck with Western and each morning had perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, and a fresh fruit plate of watermelon, pineapple and honeydew. And coffee/tea/juice. It was great sitting by the pool and watching the street come to life with passing foot and road traffic. My room was made up promptly daily and every evening there was a fresh mosquito coil for the patio. I didn't have an opportunity to swim in the pool but it looked lovely and the temp was perfect when I dangled my feet. I also didn't eat at the restaurant except for breakfast, but it always seemed to be busy with guests and walk-ins. The staff are wonderfully friendly and accommodating, and the dogs loved getting pats. The beach was about a 100m walk at the end of the street, and a Circle K around the corner in the other direction. Well located in terms of walking distance to beach, Eat Street etc. A 3 night stay wasn't long enough!

There was nothing I didn't like! Three tiny things which were nowhere near enough to ruin my stay, more comments for other travellers and hotel. Firstly there is one wooden peg which secures your door when going to bed. It didn't bother me, I felt very safe, but some might not like this. Secondly I would have liked a hand towel for the sink in the bathroom. Lastly it would have been great if there was conditioner supplied as well. None of these were dealbreakers though!

Nice hotel located nearby beach, shop, center. Garden is very nice, and rooms are suggestive and spacious. Breakfast is well, but not a buffet. Staff very nice and helpful for any need.

I loved the feel of Bali. Puri Cendana is an authentic Balinese style of accommodation. Not big & fancy, but clean & comfortable. The room was huge & loved the windows all around the bath room. The room decor was very Balinese & the gardens were lovely. Staff always warm & welcoming.

The location close to the road. It’s not entirely peaceful laying around the pool when you can hear the traffic going past. The pool also needs a paint job / re sealing. I also could not understand why the kitchen staff would not cook bananas inside the pancake mix, preferring to slice them up on top of a cooked pancake. It didn’t appear to be any more work to me. The location is also close to the epicentre of the NYE fireworks display, on the beach, which went from 6pm - 4am & sounded like we were in a war zone.

Everything about the property is great! The garden is so beautiful and there’s a lot of wildlife! The old style is so special and something everybody really loves! Please do not change the old style! The massage people are amazing. Desak is so kind. All the staff are great! There’s cute dogs that love there and are very well cared for. There’s also a very special kitty there on his own volition who loves a pat or a lap and a cuddle! Oh and definitely loves a snack, save him some chicken and he’s your new best friend. The food at the restaurant is yummy and the prices are kept very affordable for everyone which is nice. It’s steps from the beach which is busy but still worth the beautiful sunset. There’s a gelato shop also steps away which is so yummy! We hope to come back to Puri Cendana very soon! We love everything there!

Towels were a bit small and stained (like in all of Indonesia) but that’s the only small thing.

friendly courteous staff & Covid safe with all wearing masks & vaccinated. delicious breakfast included with good options. strong wifi in room & at restaurant. wide selection of tv channels which was appreciated given so many rainy days. Air con when required in bedroom was effective but whisper quiet. very well located in heart of Seminyak & short walk to beach. nice swimming pool for refreshing dip or few laps. Generally comfortable rooms & bed kept very clean. lovely green grounds well maintained & dotted with various Hindu statues etc which r integral part of Balinese religion & culture.

very large bedroom upstairs but inconvenient if one needed to go to toilet in middle of night as it was downstairs via wooden stairs. Difficult to dry clothes in sun on balcony as squirrels kept making mess from rail on to balcony. Bees disturbed me first time relaxing on balcony but appreciate that a staff member risked life & limb to get out on roof to lift roof tiles to dislodge the beehive & new roof tiles were quickly put in place !

Beautiful gardens, nice big rooms, friendly helpful staff, good location. The hotel has all the charm of old school Bali, and was great for us as a family with young children. Would definitely recommend, the pictures don't do it justice. Restaurant was really decent food at decent prices and staff were super nice.

I loved the location, the ambiance of the accommodation. The pool was lovely. The Restaurant food was well presented and tasty. The Breakfast was wonderful, catered to anyone's taste. Eight choices of a full Breakfast from Smoothies to a full western style breakfast. A short stroll to Seminyak Beach and then an easy walk along the foreshore to Kuta and beyond.

Ok. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS ............VERY POOR WI FI. My husband was only able to access it once during our 5 day stay, BUT on the up side, the TV Programmes were well covered for Westerners as well as locals. I was thrilled to be able to watch my Football Team play their AFL Game in Melbourne.

The Pool was beautiful, and our favorite food was the spring rolls by the pool. The kitchen staff especially Ariel was attentive and always ready to help. The gardens were so lovely to walk thru to leave the property and or go to the restaurant for breakfast. The Massage Desak was incredible mind you we didnt get a massage off her just her partner and it was so worth the money. We noticed that many people even came from other places to have an appointment with them
