It is a piece of heaven. It is very very clean, it has an incredible view, an entire “wall” of windows to a wonderful side of Ubud, a pattio and also a small balcony in the back to a small rice field. also from the bathroom the view is perfect. The breakfast is served on a terrace at the 3-rd floor, and is fresh and very very tasty, and the view is also beautiful. The hosts are wonderful and helping people. The house is near the center of Ubud, in 7 minutes you are in the Ubud Market, and very close is a wonderful way throuhg rice fields. I ll definitely stay again here! It is better then in a 5 stars hotel! And the frangipan flowers everywhere…

The only thing is that you have to walk like 200 hundred meters from the main street and in the night could be a little strange, but it is totally safe.

It was super clean! Comfortable bedding and bed! There weren’t mosquitoes in the room as many places in Bali do. I could fully relax there. Also great location, close to everything you need, yet super quiet in the rice paddy fields.

The room was spacious and very clean with lovely views from the front and back balconies. The hosts were amazing - friendly, fun (and funny) and helpful. They gave excellent tips on nearby restaurants - e.g., Warung Boga Sari and Miro's. Great breakfasts on a fantastic deck (see the photo). Good location away from the craziness of the main street and close to a nice rice field walk. A gamelan orchestra practicing nearby in the early evening provided a charming backdrop.

Eden House is a bit of a walk up a narrow alley, so when we arrived, we had to walk with our suitcases 100m or so from the street to our room. But when we left, the hosts took our suitcases back down on their mini-motorbike. If walking 100m rolling your suitcase (initially uphill) is unacceptable, you can hire a motorbike driver to take your suitcases up, or perhaps arrange beforehand with the hosts to help out.

Wayan and Kader could not have been better or easier hosts to deal with. Communication was prompt throughout. Wayan was able to arrange activities for us (aTV safari) at a very good price and at short notice. He also organised transport for us with great efficiency as well. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The rooftop, ‘jungle’ setting for them was a welcome break from the city chaos of Ubud. If you are coming to Ubud stay here- don’t be put off by the very short walk uphill to get there- you won’t be disappointed.

Very peaceful and beautiful property, traditional Balinese architecture building with very unique doors windows and wood carvings, it’s clean and always smells fresh, beautiful garden and beautiful view of the rice field, the owner Mr. Wayan and Ibu Kadek is very kind and helpful, there is no limit for your needs and they will help you with everything, I was sick during my visit, and Mr. Wayan helped me to go to see the doctor. I’m very appreciative for his help. Tasty breakfast is served every morning prepared by Ibu Kadek and her kind assistant. Breakfast is upstairs on the top roof which you can enjoyed your breakfast and beautiful view. After breakfast, usually Ibu Kadek will ask what you would like to have breakfast for the next day, all the foods on the menu are so delicious. the staff is very friendly (our housekeeper Alit or Gusti not sure his name) is very polite and humble always ready to assist for our help with a smile, nothing to complain about staying at Eden House Ubud, very recommend

The accommodation is very clean, tidy and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They make sure you have the best stay. The breakfast is truly amazing, the best breakfast of my trip. The location is perfect, the scenery was amazing. As a female solo traveller, it felt very safe and it felt like home. Best stay in Ubud I could’ve wished for.

Amazing view from the room. Everyday the room was cleaned.

Sink was leaking water we had to put many towels to stop water dripping. There were no hangers in the shower to hang anything. Room door was not able to fully close it from outside, we had to put some pillows etc. before we leave so animals go inside. Some of our private items were moved during cleaning they should be kept where they are not touched.

Eden House was such a special place to stay in Ubud. The room was very clean and comfortable. The family was so welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect: very central to activities and restaurants, a nice quiet retreat after a day of exploring. We enjoyed the fresh breakfast every morning and the beautiful views from our room. I would highly recommend Eden House to any traveler!

The House is off the main road and a bit hidden. You have to go up a steep hill and walk along an alleyway to get to the home's entrance. It wasn't much of a problem, just surprising at first. The family assisted us with our luggage by using scooters to take the bags up/down the hill and to/from the house.

Eden house has such beautiful rooms, with very comfortable beds and huge bathroom. The location is lovely, overlooking the rice fields but very close to the Main Street. The rooms were made up everyday to a very high standard (clean sheets every day!!) and the family were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was amazing as well! When I had to leave for the airport very early on my last day, Wayan was up to help me carry my bags AND had made be a take away breakfast 😍. This is a beautiful place to stay - highly recommend!

Host and family are quintessential Bali culture. Made us feel like family. Helped us make connections to local sites and activities and went over and above what would be expected. Location a bit off beaten path but in a good way. Quiet, serene, welcoming. Can't say enough about them. Spotless room and site upkeep. Breakfast - did I say Breakfast! Best part of the day, from their rooftop with a view of the surrounding rice fields.

Initial dropoff and approach a bit off-putting. Ally and arrival at night could be a challenge if you haven't been to Ubud. Signage (better). Once you're there you get it. Heads,up for the weary traveler. I don't think I would stay anywhere else though. Love Wayan & Fam.
