Location, staff and food 😋

A few little things just to sort could do so much for the hotel because it's a great place,the room was really hot even though the radiator was turned off double check the towels plenty of them but one was still covered in makeup, a toilet brush, and the flush on the loo not great.these are all small things easy to sort. The grip rail on the bathe could be higher up it was way to low for my wife manage after hip operations ,again just a small thing in a big well equipped bagh.

Room was very well furnished with great facilities. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast and dining excellent as was all staff. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Check out very quick and straight forward. Looking forward to our next stay.

Room and bathroom all very clean just a lot smaller than room and bathroom from previous year for the same money. Couldn't find a fan in bathroom so it was quite warm when showering. All very minor things would highly recommend hotel 😊

The location is excellent for exploring Connemara. Pristine beaches, (Lettergesh), heritage site (Dan O'Hara's) and an oyster farm nearby. Clifden is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants (offig an fish). The facilities in the hotel are fantastic (pool and cinema). The staff are super friendly. We booked an apartment which had everything you could want for an active family holiday (washing machine and dishwasher). We definitely would come back!

Nothing

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Enjoyed the swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi in the Leisure centre and the staff member was very friendly and helpful there. The breakfast was well organised with good choice of food. Live piano music in the bar/lounge area added to the atmosphere in the evening.

Staff at the reception could be a bit more friendly/attentive overall on the day of arrival; it was quite warm in the room- an air conditioner or a fan would have been welcomed, but an opened window was sufficient to cool the temperature during the night; the vent in the bathroom didn’t function however; it can get a little noisy if there’s much traffic on the street or people chatting in the corridor. While we were lucky to get a parking space, the car park seemed to be very busy.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful, ready to give help and advice. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

We were on the top floor but in the middle of the night a pipe in the roof started gushing water which was pouring onto the ledge outside our room and making a loud noise. This was despite the weather being very dry. I reported this at reception when we left.

Staff were so so friendly, excellent food, fantastic location for touring connemara and arran, short walk into town with great craft/ gift shops, pubs and good restaurants.. try Mitchell's. Went to Galway city afterwards, clifden far far better

Easter time, school holidays.. so got very noisy over the weekend

The location in the heart of Clifton was so convenient for our night away. We had a spacious family room which was very comfortable with biscuits and coffee/tea making facilities, a huge shower and lovely bathroom products. The leisure centre was a welcome treat after the days travelling. We had a hearty breakfast the next morning and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

We couldn't find fault with anything in the hotel

Check in was excellent - we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who made our check in very smooth and organised for someone to store our bikes safely and securely. Breakfast selection was very comprehensive and the service we received at breakfast in the morning and in the bar the night before was excellent too.

Location was ideal.staff were lovely.

Hotel under renovation point of entry was not signposted. On entry were standing with other guests just to ne told by leisure centre staff "stairs to the right".too many steps (stairs) not suitable foe anyone wilh disabilities. I was not made aware hotel was under renovation until after reservation was made.it was a non refund reservation

From the moment I arrived (as a solo traveller for a break/de-stress) I was so impressed with the warmth of the staff. When I parked my car, I was unsure if where I parked was part of the hotel complex. I saw a youngstaff member nearby and asked if where I parked was ok. He kindly asked me to wait while he got confirmation from the hotel about where I could park for my 2 night stay. He returned and explained so clearly as to where to park. I was so impressed with this very polite and kind young man. Thank you again Gabriel! The Station House are very lucky to have you as a member of their team. I had a very relaxing stay. The bed was so comfy! I had wonderful sleeps! Breakfasts were delicious! Fantastic range to choose from! Natasha and her team were so welcoming to guests arriving for breakfast each morning. The atmosphere was always relaxed but very efficient.

Having to leave! I will return again soon.
