Almost everything
Dinner. We chose to have dinner at the hotel. We didnt get a starter we just got main course and it was ridiculously expensive for a tiny tiny portion. €35 for the main course and you could barely even see it. We had stayed at Belleeck castle almost 10 years ago and the meal was not like this. Something changed since and to be quite honest it's scandalous. We've stayed at many castle hotels all over Ireland and none of them charge such extortionate prices for a meal at the hotel.

Lovely setting...room nicely decorated....staff very professional and friendly.....breakfast was good quality... lovely atmosphere in the restaurant...dinner was delicious...highly recommend the fillet steak....very nice bar with comfortable chairs and wood burning fire....beautiful walks through the woodland and along the river Moy...the manor house is a beautiful building...
Despite the staff doing their best to fix it, there was a problem with the heating which meant that the room was far too warm...had to sleep with the window open...the room was small...

It was just amazing from the moment we checked in to the minute we checked out. The staff were fantastic and the load back feel of the castle was exactly what we needed. The beds were fantastic too. Slept like a baby both nights. A lovely forest walk and Jack Fenns for coffee was just the ticket.
I can't fault it. We wanted to stay in a castle and it delivered exactly what we wanted.

Excellent and convenient restaurant for dinner, especially since we arrived late. Wonderful bar, with a terrific bartender. Beautiful decor and delightful self-touring opportunities.
A few areas in the bathroom that needed vacuuming. The young woman who checked us in appeared to be

The Castle is very atmospheric. It is old, small and very charming, The entrance hall is warm and inviting and very interesting. The bedrooms are very nicely furnished. The bar is very cozy, the drawing room is elegant and the wrought iron curved stairs, wrought iron chandeliers and candelabras with real candles all add to its charm. The staff are very helpful and warm. The food and wine served in the intimate and inviting dining room is superb.
I didn't like the breakfast options or the area reserved for breakfast. The portions for breakfast are much too large. There is not an option for a buffet breakfast which I would much prefer.

We absolutely loved Belleek Castle! We stayed 2 nts in March & enjoyed every minute. The entire staff is incredibly friendly & fun. Steve the bar manager was so awesome. The restaurant dinner was so delicious! Breakfast was wonderful. We loved the tour of the castle that Steve set up with Matthieu, the owner’s son. What an amazing tour. Matthieu was very entertaining! The Belleek woods trails outside the castle door was just gorgeous. We look forward to returning to this charming castle. Thank you!

It's a beautiful, iconic, independent, individual, eclectic, amazing castle, you feel like you are steeping back through time and history. The bar is great and the restaurant is one of the best standards of food, service and quality we have had in the west coast of Ireland. The meal was amazing, what an incredible experience 5 stars. We loved the amazing staff, all very talented, friendly and knowledgeable, we will definitely be going back. Thanks Belleek Castle team.

Breakfast, dinner, and the room were all excellent. Dinner was not included with the room but it was exceptional. The table next to us ordered a steak flambéed on a 16th century sword. And the bar was amazing too. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Compared to other castles I saw when trying to book throughout Ireland, this was definitely more reasonably priced. We didn’t have time to do it but there was also a tour of their armor/fossil collection, which was at a reduced price for those staying with them. It was really cool exploring the castle and the outside grounds. There’s a ton of walking trails around and the view when you are on the drive up to the castle is incredible once you approach.
There was not anything I did not enjoy here. Best place we stayed at on our trip to Ireland!

Beautiful castle stay. We have stayed in many Irish castles but this one stands out due to the museum and nod to the Marshall related stories around the place. The bar is the most unique I've ever seen. Loved spending the nights in there. The barman Colm was lovely and ensured fantastic service. He is a great addition to the castle. The food and service in the restaurant was outstanding. The drunken bullock is a must!! Great to see the owner around the place chatting to guests too. The museum tour is a must!! What an interesting life to learn about. The bed was comfy and the room was well appointed. Belleek Castle is a great base for visiting Downpatrick Head and the Ceide Fields. The woods are lovely to visit and well maintained.
The bedroom was very hot but a fan is provided. Breakfast on the first morning was disappointing. 3 couples that all arrived within a few minutes of eachother were served after a group that arrived down ten minutes later causing a big backlog. A 40 minute wait for 2 servings of waffles seemed a bit unnecessary.

A architecturally quirky but very good, family-run hotel with interesting rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - especially Stephen the bar manager - and the evening dinner was superb with excellent food and service. Very comfortable and clean. All in all, an enjoyable experience.
Unfortunately let down by the service at breakfast - my order for a standard Irish fry-up took an hour plus three reminders before it arrived, while my friends' breakfasts arrived stone cold, having obviously stood waiting for a long time. Also not ideal when I came out of my room in the morning to see the laundry bags dumped all along the corridor. However, I'm sure these were unusual exceptions and I'd be happy enough to book again.
