Nice hotel, friendly staff and proximity to airport.

It fully met our needs

The hotel is opposite the airport, I could see it when I came out of the airport, there were clear signs pointing you in the right direction to walk to it. The room was large and clean, everything was there that I needed, the only slight downside was that it was cold and I couldn't figure out if I could change the temperature in the room, I gave up because it was late, on inspection in the morning I found a radiator, however it was behind a cover. The staff we really helpful and allowed me to check out slightly later than stated on the booking for no extra cost, which I really appreciated.

The location is a two minute walk from Shannon International Airport. The rooms were clean and of adequate size. The breakfast room and the maître d‘ service was impeccable. The chef made me a cheese and ham omelette, which was perfectly prepared. The other little dining area has a pub and was quite comfortable and warm. The food was outstanding. The roast of the day was beef. The roast and the potatoes and the mixed vegetables were all served very hot, which is the way I like it!

No negative comments

Great place to stay if you have an early morning flight out. Just walk across the parking lot to the airport terminal. We checked in the afternoon after returning our rental car to the airport. Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at the hotel recouping from our vacation in our comfortable, quiet room. We had a great dinner in the bar area...nice, cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The next morning, we had a wonderful breakfast w/good coffee. There was a hot buffet, cereals, breads, fruits but could also custom order from the kitchen.

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend and wished we could have stayed longer! From the moment we entered to the moment we left, we experienced wonderful courtesy and professionalism from the staff. We had dinner in the bar and it was both tasty & mouth watering. Breakfast the following morning was totally self service with an exceptional display of both hot and cold food. Bedroom was spacious, warm and comfortable and totally soundproof! We expected some noise being at an airport hotel, but we slept soundly. Shower was a powerful traditional one but with the added bonus of a monsoon and plenty of toiletries were provided. BIG shoutout to Jason who made our stay so memorable. He was present at both meals and ran the bar and restaurant with courtesy, effectiveness and humour! What an asset to your company! We can’t wait to return :)

Not a thing!

Lovely restaurant area themed like an Irish pub with friendly staff. Room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. 2 free bottles of water in the room a nice extra. Breakfast was simple but provided a good combination of a full Irish (bacon, sausage and eggs), along with cereals and continental meats and pastries. Excellent location next to the airport.

Food service ended at 9:30pm, with no room service provision past this point other than a pizza. Only alternative was a vending machine selling crisps and sweets. Not ideal if arriving on an evening flight as we did.

We were both a little sick whe we arrived and it was just so nice to get have a comfortable bed and a clean room. WE WERE REALLY surprised by how nice the breakfast. There was a vast number of choices for the meal and coffee choices as well that guests could get for themselves by pushing a button! I highly recommend this Radisson . We stayed overnight there to be close to the Shannin airport, But I could see someone staying there upon arrival to Shannon, maybe ever for a couple.

There wasn't anythng we didn't like.

So grateful to the front of house who checked me in. He was a very kind and understanding young man. He rang up to see if there was a room ready so I could be checked in a few hours earlier. Luckily there was and this allowed me be able to shower after my flight and get changed and dressed for a wedding due at 1pm. A godsend really! The accommodation was clean and tidy. And the breakfast was great. The location was perfect on arrival from the airport. Would definitely return again.

The hotel was very nice. It was also incredibly close to the airport. The staff were professional yet warm and friendly. There was a parking arm to block the parking lot but the hotel validated it so there was no cost. Breakfast was very good.

There was a group of children there that filled their bags up with the fruit from the breakfast buffet. They seemed almost like they lived there. They were quiet and not disruptive in any way. It was just unusual. There was also a bike rack full of old bicycles as well as a couple cars that appeared abandoned with flat tires. It took away from the overall quality of the hotel. However, the staff and the inside of the hotel were all very nice.

AMAZING location right on the airport property -- just across the car park. Full and delicious breakfast with menu options as well as a buffet. We ate dinner there as well, and there were good, solid options. Very clean. Very quiet. And, by the way, flying out of Shannon is incredibly easy. We are never flying in and out of Ireland again from any other airport!

As others have mentioned, this is a basic hotel, not particularly upscale. It does not have air conditioning, but you can crack the windows open, and they provide a powerful fan.
