The staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate. In particular I’d like to mention the restaurant/bar manager - I don’t recall learning her name, but she was a young blond woman. She was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Complimentary drinking water, tea & instant coffee. Very comfortable beds & bedding, fresh fluffy towels, good storage for clothes and ironing board provided in the room.

Breakfast was not bad. Nice to see some gluten free bread available, but would have been better if it had been a brown variety or one with seeds, as the white one from Shär is like cardboard :) The food in the restaurant was variable. The salmon with mash was really good, the ceasar salad less so. The shower in the room was not adjustable and felt sharp on the skin. Grateful for the provision of, but really didn’t like the smell of the body lotion provided.

This is an independent, locally owned property - it was a pleasure to stay here. The building was newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Staff were so very helpful and professional in their interactions. Besides the hotel, the building contains a lovely restaurant (fish and chips cooked to perfection) and a charming pub - Shannon Springs Hotel is a great place to recharge before or after a long flight in or out of Shannon Airport. There are bus stops immediately outside the building and you can be whisked there within minutes.

A large group of us stayed at the hotel for a family funeral. The staff at the hotel were so kind and understanding.They went over and beyond to make our stay pleasant given the sad circumstances. When the restaurant was booked out they offered our family a private area to still get food, gave us umbrellas for the rain and arranged for all our rooms to be close to each other. The rooms were clean, spacious and great value for money. I couldn't fault anything everything in the hotel was perfect and all the staff were outstanding.

Very friendly fast efficient check in with simple room directions. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. ,217 in my stay. Nice fresh comfortable bed with more than enough pillows lol 😉. Breakfast was buffet with plenty choice. I don't drink alcohol but the bar was lively and buzzing. This hotel has cracked how to offer quality efficient friendly value service. Thanks all.

I had no issues with my stay.

We were greeted by 2 very happy and friendly members of staff at check-in. I also asked if I could get a Happy Birthday message on the tv or something for my son. They arranged a dessert platter instead, which was fabulous, and he absolutely loved it. The room was a perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids. We attended the Munster game and got the 343 bus in, which is right outside the hotel. It took about 15 minutes to get into town, and the walk to the stadium was about 5 minutes. I absolutely recommend this hotel and will stay again.

the room and the staff were excellent. We were only there for one night prior to a flight from Shannon. Set up of our transportation to the airport by the Staff was excellent and on time.

We didn't dislike anything. I would say that information about breakfast before 0700 would have been helpful. For example, there will be coffee, tea, meats, cheeses, juice, cereal etc, in the breakfast room. When told continental Americans sometimes think that is like a box lunch to go.

Hotel was convenient to airport and local shopping centre within 10 minutes walking distance. Communal decor in reception lobby, restaurant and bar area was quirky. Staff friendly. Food exceptionally tasty and great value for money. Bedrooms large, clean with every mod con provided.

Only downside was how buffet breakfast had removable lids from each food item. You had to balance lid on top of another food container, which was time consuming & on both mornings food was lukewarm by the time you served yourself and got to your table to eat. Recently stayed in a hotel which had large serving hot plates with attached lift up lid which were easier to operate and food still hot when you were ready to eat.

The hotel is a well presented and attractive property just a few minutes drive from Shannon airport. There are shops nearby if you need to buy anything (I needed some antihistamine and there is a chemist just a few minutes walk away). The restaurant and bars are all attractive and the food was pretty good too. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities, and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

My room overlooked the back of the kitchen, so the fans were a little intrusive. I'll ask for a room facing away from the main road next time I stay.

Everything went well during our stay at Shannon Springs Hotel. This was the last day of our family's dream trip to Ireland and it was the perfect ending! The accommodations were very comfortable. We slept so soundly! The breakfast buffet was excellent - especially the coffee! How I miss the delicious coffee we enjoyed in Ireland. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home! This was the perfect place to stay before catching our flight back to the states.

Nothing could have been better!

We arrived after a 2 and a half hour drive, tired 11:30pm, and Brendan at the bar was the best! After Brendan’s shift was over, Shah took care of us during the “after hours” and we couldn’t have asked for better service from the whole team! They were even kind enough to put some frozen items we had in their freezer for our flight the next morning. Will be back again when flying out of Shannon!! Less than 10 min drive to airport and beautiful facilities throughout!!
