Attended a wedding in the hotel, this hotel and the staff are amazingly friendly. Check in was swift with 3 on desk which moved things on quite a bit. Overall the hotel deserves a vote of confidence for anyone booking a celebration. The view from the front of the hotel is stunning for photos, rolling green fields.

Privacy in the bedroom was compromised due to the position of the room looking out onto the hotel gym, there was no netting on the window and people using the gym had the windows open which compromised privacy. The service in the function room was just a bit slow, meals were lovely but did not seem to be an organised service.

Good location, friendly staff and nice bistro... music was brilliant in the bar.

Breakfast was ok, but I didn't like being how the staff member was at the buffet bar serving the hot food... it was like being at a filling station food counter... would suggest either letting customers fill their own plates or have table services. Also, generally, it's obvious the hotel needs a revamp.. carpets are clean but need to be replaced badly, and some or the paint work is flaking...

The bar food was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in the bar and were happy to offer suggestions for 4 year old fussy eaters. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are fab.

The pool was great but a bit tired looking. But we had a great time in it because it's very quiet, we practically had it all to ourselves.

Breakfast was a bit pricey, but was cooked to order. The hotel was very family friendly and the location was convenient.

Front Desk forgot to explain that I needed to put a key in the slot near the front door to make the lights work. After 10 minutes in the dark we figured it out. I largely booked the hotel for the indoor play area, but it was unfortunately closed during our stay.

Excellent breakfast, great restaurant, world class.The property and environs are stunning, beautiful golf course, castle, great facilities for kids. Pool is a good size, accessible and well maintained and spa area very decent and spotless. Staff helpful with all enquiries. Would recommend it as a wedding venue, catering well organized and very nice ballroom and garden. Suitability for touring and business groyps is high for same reasons.

Location a bit challenging for public transit but still possible. Rooms a little small, but nice. Careful with privacy as windows are full length and at ground level, pros n cons! Evening entertainment bordered on cheesy.

I liked the fact that they managed to balance a lovely hotel for adults but that children were also entertained. We loved the walk around the lake to the castle

Breakfast was very average. I didn’t like the fact that you have to make your own tea & coffee. There was no opportunity to get an omelette made as the fry available was not great We were on the ground floor & there was a lot of noise from upstairs rooms, not sure what could be done about that

Very pleasant rural location though conveniently close to motorway and ready access to nearby places of interest and on Loop Peninsula. Continental or Full Irish breakfast options at extra charge. Large comfortable room; wet-room shower, no bath. Commodious car park. Capacity for last minute booking.

Kids play centre was brilliant facility and the kids club was a lovely bonus to have an adult only meal. Staff were just fabulous all round . Food was delicious, from breakfast to bar to the restaurant

The staff were delightful. The gastropub was an excellent venue and the dinner excellent.

The decor is a little tired, the ‘make up my room’ option should include more than a towel and bin change and the breakfast lacked healthy vegetarian or continental options.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, and great location. Great stuff for kids mini golf, play zone, pool, cinema, and outdoor slide. The best service in any hotel we have ever stayed in, the food was excellent and really good value for money. The staff were so friendly and my baby daughter gave them loads of smiles.

A little bit noisy at times, floorboards newd to be changed under carpet as u can hear kids running up and down the collidor plus we had very noisy people above us.
