What a lovely hotel; Arrived at 6pm having spent all day travelling (flights/car hire), was greeted very warmly by the reception staff who very kindly made a booking for the restaurant. Hotel is very "classy", lovely reception area, really nicely laid out. The room was great, super comfy bed, & the Rituals shower accessories was a classy touch. Food in the restaurant was delicious, lots of staff on duty who provided a very friendly service. Car park had loads of spaces, & the lift takes you right up to the reception area. This, & its sister hotel in Galway, are both superb hotels, & I'll definitely be staying in them again.

The hotel was decorated beautifully with Christmas trees. There is always a relaxed vibe in the bar area. The room was cosy. Antonio checked me in at the desk, he was very obliging, going the extra mile to make my stay special. I would stay again

The only constructive thing I have to say is the hot breakfast, it was undercooked.

Spotless, super friendly and welcoming. Everything was great. Our room was lovely and looked over the river. Bathroom great with an excellent shower. Couldn't fault it. We had the breakfast 3 days running and never tired of it. The selection and quality was really good, definitely better than a lot of hotel breakfast buffets. The spa is great. Massive jacuzzi (plus another one) large pool, steam room, sauna. We really enjoyed our 4 nights at this hotel and will return. Great location for just stepping out and walking along the riverside.

The hotel is great and feel like a real 4 stars from the materials used to the staff uniforms.

The only thing I could fault is only down to one staff not making any efforts and that the person running room service. Professional only and almost polite most of the time but not make you feel like you want to place an order and feel the love.. Mos people would afraid to order if staying more than one night.I stayed 5 on my own..... Explain why I didn't fancy the main restaurant room after 12 hours shifts.. Feeling like why are you getting room service.. Should you not come down to the restaurant ...what s your problem for staying in your room... I am sorry but replace this guy ! You could have got a 10 out if 10 for it Food good! Not the only place where room service is not value at the rest Take note hopefully

Rooms super clean and nice. Location excellent and easy to get around the city. Antonio who assisted us from start to finish was incredibly warm and welcoming. Made an effort not make us feel comfortable and valued as guests. He remembered our names and made an effort to check in with us when he saw us. Super helpful and kind and is an incredible asset to the hotel. The night porter was the same. Had conversations and a laugh with us when we came in late from our work. Didn’t catch his name but he was another guy who was super friendly and again a credit to the venue.

Food in the bar wasn’t amazing and some of the bar staff weren’t as welcoming as the reception staff but that’s super minor.

Lovely hotel great location 5 mins walk into town for shopping. Bar food was nice quite pricey €11 for a dessert was a bit steep!! Room was so lovely very clean and comfortable! Leisure centre staff were so lovely and great facilities available! Parking was expensive aswell it did state 12€ per night but I ended up paying more which was frustrating I think parking should be included with room! Room rate was also quite pricey and it was without breakfast but unfortunately this is Ireland!!

Bar was a little chilly and lacked at atmosphere on a Saturday night!!

I loved the Strand in Limerick! I felt the location was fantastic and it was easy to get around. I loved that it was so close to the river and easy to find. I felt safe in this hotel especially because the elevators have key card security. I liked that the room had a mini fridge and water kettle. Ohhh and I loved that they have 'Rituals' bath products! I will recommend this hotel to friends.

I did not like that even though I had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door (I was teleworking), the maid service just came into my room. She knocked and came right in. This happened two days in a row. Does the sign not mean anything? She did a nice job cleaning the room and I know they are just doing their job, but that was annoying.

Breakfast was lovely. Room was perfect for our one night stay. Shower was wonderful.

There are two things: 1 Had to find a vending machine to have a packet of crisps - why are they not on sale at the bar? 2 I’d booked two rooms for two people. We were given one on the second floor and one on the fifth. Didn’t make an issue of this as we were only staying one night, (although I don’t understand why, when we are on the same booking, we always have to ask for our rooms to be nearby). However in this hotel you can only access a floor if your room card allows so we were unable to visit each other’s room! Small issue but perhaps could have been made clear at time of checking in?

Just about everything was great, with just two exceptions.

1. When complaining for the second day that our room hadn't been serviced at 3pm, the chap at reception told me this it's common for rooms to not be made up until well into the afternoon. After spending much of the day out, I want to be able to chill or have a shower in the afternoon without worrying about being interrupted by housekeeping. 2. The staff were very helpful but it was painful to watch how inefficient the waiting staff (not the bar staff) are, in the restaurant and the bar area. It would be useful for them to take a trip across the river to the Hoop & Ladder to observe how waiting should be done.

Room size was spacious, bed was huge and comfortable - great pillows, shower and bath were great, toiletries were great (Rituals), great shelf space in bathroom. Great underground parking (€10 fee). Reception staff was super great - friendly and made us feel welcomed & looked after!

Curtains were permanently drawn closed (the privacy ones), would’ve liked to open and enjoy the lovely weather. Shower & tap sprinkled fine water - would’ve preferred more high pressured blasts). No water fountains (but was complimentary bottles in room).
