The location is great. There is free parking, just swipe your room card to park underground and then take the lift or stairs to go to reception or your floor. There are two lifts, only one of them goes to the underground carpark (the one on the left as you see them in reception) The staff are really friendly and there's a nice area to sit and chill with a drink out the back. I didn't try the food but I saw people eating in the restaurant and the food looked really good. The rooms are really nice, very spacious. The shower is worth a mention, really powerful which is great in the morning. The bed is huge and the pillows are also worth a mention - one is firm and the other is soft. Perfect combination. The WiFi was brilliant as well, completely free and right up there with the best I've tried. A nice touch is the plug sockets either side of the bed have USB-A and USB-C chargers built in so all you need is cables. I didn't go into the city but there were plenty of taxis to take patrons there and back again. The staff will sort that out for you.
There were two small things - the first was a company or business behind the hotel were taking bins or something similar in and out at 4am which woke me. No problem, I closed the window. Problem sorted. The other thing was the extraction fan in the bathroom to get rid of steam had a mind of its own, again, not a problem, I closed the bathroom door and I didn't hear it again. Small aberrations like this are not insurmountable. This is a great hotel.

The proximity to heritage places and closesness to shops. And the hotel is just close to the M7. Staff at desk Zoren was very helpful. And staff in the restaurant are all obliging . Overall the staffs are very welcoming and nice.
After having a long day of travel and going around Limerick we where tired on our first day and then we where woken up at 9am the following day , just to be asked if we need anything, cleaning staff could have just left the necessity items by the door just like the other rooms we have passed on that has no signs at the door.

Housekeeping were very friendly and obliging. The room was spotless. Bed comfortable,. Bathroom spotless, plenty of towels. Room was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, staff on duty were very helpful and friendly. The underground, secure parking is essential given the location of the hotel.
I didnt like the location. On arrival there was a man urinating against the wall of the hotel. It was very off putting and left us uncertain of what to expect in the hotel. Concerned about leaving the car parked outside.

Easy access to places of interest in Limerick City, and conveniently near to M7 for access to those east, west, and south of the City. Delicious and generous breakfast. Pleasant view of cloud formations & sundown from the 3rd floor room. Underground closed parking felt safe, with direct access to floors by lift and room access card.Uncomplicated check-in and online checkout; 15 minute period of grace for checkout. Spacious room & bathroom. Interesting Art Deco style of foyer and staircase.
Washbasin plug did not function as such, required constant running water; rather wasteful. Perhaps this was deliberate, to avoid flooding if guests leave the tap on. Good size bath. Noisy extractor fan in bathroom. Located in southern outskirts in environment of semi-industrial estate, though also late opening shopping outlets (unlike Limerick Centre).

Breakfast was great, lots of choice for all family
The noise from the loading bay that started at 5.45am trucks reversing stock doors banging, off loading of goods was awful and continued all morning. Staff at the desk moved our room for our second night which was really appreciated. The 3rd night was awful too because of a stag night. Guards were called to remove some of the men after they interfered with the fire extinguisher. It went on until after 3am. I do have high praise for Kathrina at the front desk who offered a reduction on the cost of our 3rd night and offered complementary tea which we couldn't stay for but was appreciated.

We had a very good time at the Maldron, a ductile and modern hotel good for either business and family trip. As a family, we enjoyed the big room, the very nice bathroom and shower and the ample and efficient common spaces, either for a very rich Irish breakfast or for a dinner with ample choice of food and beverages. The cherry on the pie for us was Maldron's partnership with Club Vitae, a great health and fitness club whose services are included with the booking: a nice swimming pool alongside a pool for kids, clean and with tiepid water, plus steam room, sauna and jacuzzi...we enjoyed that a lot and almost didn't wanted to leave for our scheduled outside activities! Staff was very kind and prepared at both the Maldron and Club Vitae reception, our time in Limerick was smooth sailing from arrival until check-out.
Limerick's a big city and the Maldron is a little far from the city centre so it can be a great accomodation for those who are looking to explore the Western regions of Ireland but a slighly less comfortable one if your goal is to just visit Limerick and you are not travelling by car. For us going W and NW it proved to be an excellent base.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful when I went to check in. Telling me where to park my car and how to use the card to get the lift in the carpark. I didn't book breakfast as I had an early start but I had a meal in the restaurant early in the afternoon when I booked in and the waitress was exceptionally helpful and the food was delicious. I will definitely plan to stay the next time I am travelling to Limerick for work.
There was nothing that I didn't like in this hotel during my stay.

Very clean, welcoming reception with smart courteous staff. Room was very clean, warm with a tray of tea, coffee and snacks, and a welcome bag of refreshments for our granddaughter,a lovely gesture;Bathroom was great with a good shower and plenty of towels. Breakfast was good value with an assortment of cereals, cooked breakfast ,pastries and drinks both hot and cold. Car parking is under the hotel and is secure at night and free. We loved every minute of our stay.
Nothing.

The staff were great, all of them that we interacted with. The swimming pool was great, our daughter loved the kiddies pool; which means we loved it!
I still think the price of the hotel is a bit high for 2 adults and an infant, under 2. My wife wanted breakfast in the hotel, so we both ended up having breakfast there. She was disappointed with the variety of food available. Personally I would have preferred to spend the €30 in the milk market etc for breakfast. Having said that, I thought the food was adequate but a bit expensive for what it is as well.

The rooms very comfortable enough.
Check-in times doesn't seem to be flexible. I came for a 4-night stay. I had a very long flight (about 11 hours) + a long road trip from Dublin to Limerick. I did use the app to communicate on my arrival time. However, when I arrived at around 12:00 HRS, I was told to wait till 15:00 HRS. While waiting, I did notice some other guest who came before 15:00 HRS was able to check-in.
