It's like meeting family you didn't know you had not because Alex and Anne are "too familiar" but because they make you feel at home and provide just the right level of service Their home has many conveniences and 3 lovely retrievers that greet you when you get there. Every day Anne prepares your customized breakfast that you select the night before. They have a lot of great art pieces that make.for easy conversation and beautiful grounds to walk in. It's a wonderful stay for a.business or.holiday traveller, single.or.family.

Nothing to dislike. I'd return there on any visit.

Hosts very welcoming and gave some good advice on where to eat. The room was spacious and comfortable and the (shared) balcony looked out onto some stunning views. The grounds were well kept and very pleasant to walk around. The house is very much out in the sticks and Adare is a good 15 minute car ride away. The three golden retrievers are absolutely gorgeous (you can tell I'm a dog lover), but if you don't like dogs maybe this isn't the place for you as they can pay you a lot of attention outside of the house.

Not much, although needs a bit of TLC in places - e.g. broken toilet seat and worn towels. Not sure why we couldn't get hot water in the evening but wasn't a problem in the morning. Breakfast was tasty but minimalistic and little choice when compared to other B&B's we stayed at.

Beautiful surroundings and building, great balcony, good breakfast. Not ideal if you’re not a dog lover(we are so it wasn’t an issue),no name on the door(just on the key fob)not sure about having to preorder breakfast the evening before, personally I prefer matching toiletries,we had 3 different kinds,we’re not fans of memory foam mattresses and it was quite small. We had coffee/tea available but no milk provided . Anne was very professional and we had great interaction regarding her horse history

Our room was was a good size and well furnished with views across the gardens and surrounding agricultural land. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful. We were pleased to be handed a list of pubs and restaurants in the locality that offered an evening meal. Breakfast offered all the usual selections. The property is in a rural area but my Sat Nav had no difficulty in finding the location. The house is set well back from the road but is easily identified by its name on the entrance gate post. The letters are large and can be read from the road.

Very thing was fine

Anne was a wonderful host, the property itself was absolutely divine - we had the best weather too! Her friendly dogs were adorable, breakfast was perfect, and the dawn chorus from the birds was a real treat amidst this peaceful location.

Only drawback is it's a good 10 minutes from local shops or restaurants, but if you arrive equipped with everything you need, you'll be grand! We brought our own prosecco and Anne kindly provided us with some crystal glasse

Excellent location - not too close to the city, not too far. Anne was a pleasant, outgoing hostess. We came with dirty clothes and she washed them for us - bonus!!! Our family room had an amazing view of the area which we celebrated with wine & a cheese board. The other guests were friendly; we related our adventures over our full breakfast. Would recommend Anne and HCH to all.

If the jacuzzi was up and running - dismantled to add more rooms. Details on how to work the shower - it was an experience determining how to get it to work.

This is a beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. It felt more like a four star hotel than a b&b.

It was father away from Adare than expected. The country lanes to get there are confusing. We had to get rescued by helpful locals because our Google maps was sending us round in circles - the most direct route to Adare involved a diversion because of a closed bridge. The breakfast was minimal compared to other places we stayed.

Very attractive new build in extensive gardens, Room and bathroom very good and modern.Breakfast to order very good but rather understaffed. A lovely lounge area for guests.

Obviously a really ambitious project all round but starting to need a little more care and attention especially the gardens and what was a large swimming pool extension but now closed and going to be converted to extra accommodation.A lovely country location but quite far from any pubs or restaurants

The location was great. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. They were informative about the area and were on hand to help. Bed was sooo comfy and the shower was like a waterfall on you which was brilliant! The actual place was so amazing and roomy. The garden was also amazing. Lovely garden statues and obviously the scenery aswell.

There wasn't anything that we were unhappy or disliked.

Anne runs a magnificent country property about a 10 minute drive to Adare, a bit longer to Limerick. She was extremely helpful and she exuded a passion for her area. Quiet location, a very comfy bed, excellent shower/bath and breakfast cooked to order, beautiful gardens. Thank you Anne!!

Slightly further out of town than I'd initially thought.
