The room was large and spacious with a huge, very comfortable bed and two gorgeous leather arm chairs. Thete was a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The view was quite nice looking over the river and toward the castle. Location very close to the main streets with many restaurants. The hotel restaurant food was decent, value-for-money and the restaurant itself was stunning to look at, very quirky (love the bookshelf wall nook). Breakfast was €12 upfront and included a hot meal selection from a menu as well as a continental buffet and real coffee! The parking ticket was validated to reduce the cost to €11 overnight.

The corridor lights turned on and off every couple of minutes and shone under the room door.

The room was clean, spacious and well presented and the bed was large and comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space and the wardrobe doors were mirrored which was an added bonus. There was a wide range of breakfast choices and the portions were generous. The staff were extremely helpful particularly Andrew on reception. The foyer was beautifully decorated and all areas were spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for exploring Limerick and it was easy to park in the public car park directly behind the hotel for a discounted rate, and to access the hotel through the rear door.

Very good location. Good size room. Very comfortable bed, good size for 2. Good heating. Excellent bar downstairs. Excellent quality of food at a very reasonable price. Very good option if you are tired and decide to dine in. Staff at reception are very welcoming and helpful

Very noisy. Despite the double glazing you can hear lots of noises from the street. Also noises from the hallway. The page says parking however, it is not part of the hotel and it is not included in the price. The hotel stamps your ticket and you get a flat rate of 11€ for 24 hs.

Location was great, right on the waterfront, car park next door a real bonus, a good deal at 25 Euro for 3 days. Close to the restaurants we wanted. The ironing room on 4th floor was handy. Lovely breakfast choice, not overpriced at 12 Euro pre-booked. Very nice hotel all round.

Just niggles - The breakfast waiters/esses could be a little more attentive and pro active, they kept forgetting things and didn't clear the tables as they went. The notice advising that the Brasserie is closed at weekends would be better on the ground floor instead of finding out once you have gone downstairs, only to go back up again. Better still, staff could advise guests on check-in.. One of the lifts wasn't working, a nuisance at busy times. No aircon, it was warm when we stayed and needed the windows open, but noise from the street below made it difficult.

Great Location, staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The scenery from the hotel window was magnificant. The only gripes I have are; the elevator was irritating, only one elevator working and it was very slow. it was faster to take the stairs which I had to ask the location of, because there was no sign. The continental breakfast was meagre, not much choice of cereals and staff watched you like a hawk, very uncomfortable. The cleaning staff were early knocking on doors. After breakfast, we were preparing for our day, ie making sure I had phone, money etc when cleaning staff started knocking on our door, I felt rushed as I left the room. Another irritant, the bed had flat sheets and not fitted sheets. The sheets were constantly dislodged throughout the night and I got up to try and fix them.

Excellent hotel. We came over to attend a funeral. All staff we're lovely, especially the lady at breakfast. (Short hair and glasses). She made us feel very welcome. Desk staff always friendly and very informative. Also, Noel, the gentleman in the wheelchair who is staying at the hotel. Please give him a job as a tour guide. His knowledge of directions, buses and short cuts is amazing.

We had room 425 and found we were woken early every morning by bin men etc. It wasn't a problem though. Will definitely ask for a view of the river next time if possible.

The room was spacious, the breakfast and the dinner in the restaurant is correct, good quality. Parking is solved in a parking house just beside the hotel, as it is indicated by booking.com, and only 11 € vs. 25 €.

The furnitures are outdated, the arm of the armchair pinched my finger for instance, but this is only the most extreme example. Even parking is solved in a correct way, but when you left your car in the parking house, and you want to enter into the hotel first time, it's not too easy to guess how can you do it...

The staff are really nice and friendly. The rooms are big and clean. The water was hot and I liked the kettle in my room since I’m a tea drinker and it’s just more practical. Taking the stairs was a good alternative to the one working elevator and it’s normally empty too so less traffic.

One elevator wasn’t working and the only other elevator was really slow (has to reach every floor) You’re not allowed to bring in food or drink that wasn’t from the hotel itself (there’s a notice on the floors but it’s not mentioned anywhere else so not sure if it’s enforced)

The room and bathroom were well appointed and clean, and the bed was very comfortable so I had a great nights sleep. The hotel is located within a very short walking distance of the city centre, which was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The next time I'm in Limerick I will definitely stay here again.

The parking lot the hotel has an arrangement with was a little confusing to use as the gates to the main car park were shut and wouldn't open when I arrived, so I had to park in the lower level of the car park which did not give me a ticket for reentering the carpark building and exiting the next day. The staff of the hotel were very helpful with the situation, but it did take a bit of time negotiating with the car park company over the intercom to get a ticket issued and get my car out of the car park again.

The room was well appointed and very comfortable. It was also a little noisy - as you might expect being on the 4th floor, with the window open and overlooking one of the main river bridges. But the views were lovely and more than made up for with road traffic noise. The breakfasts were substantial and delicious. The chowder we had one evening was absolutely delicious and memorable; it comes highly recommended.

Car parking was a bit of a PITA and not cheap (in adjacent multi-storey carpark).
