Rooms were spacious and very clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a real sized fridge in the room and a coffee pod machine with a great selection. Shower was huge with great water pressure. Temperature in the room was great throughout and it was very peaceful, great for a good nights rest. TV was fantastic and you can sign in to your usual streaming services account also, wi-fi was also a good speed and free for guests.

The Room Service menu could have a bit more variety and cater for more dietary requirements, especially in the desserts. Would've enjoyed some mini bar in the room, this would just allow for convenience and not have to rely upon Uber to supply the extras that you might be needing.

I travel frequently and this Novotel is a hidden gem in the inner Melbourne suburbs. Huge room Immaculately clean. Nothing was a problem for the staff. The breakfast, lunch and dinner meals are first rate - restaurant quality. The barman mixes a good Chilli Margarita. Prices very reasonable. Even the steak I had was sublime. I don't know whose running it but 5 stars and Oak Leaf clusters, to you.

Only one small gripe, but you asked me to comment. I really hate this latest fad making the guest muck around casting from his mobile phone to Utube. It never works properly and in a Novetel in Bali, somebody hacked my Netfliy password and bought Movies using it. Put some cable channels on Novotel. I just never watched TV.

Such a super comfortable room, with a lovely view of the city lights at night. I was given a bit of an upgrade, which was an unexpected but hugely appreciated surprise. The last time I was here, the bathroom mirror light shone through the frosted glass bathroom door and kept me awake a bit, but this time, the bathroom door was solid , so I didn't see the light, and slept so well! I was so relieved to know there's a baggage storage service, too. Very helpful! As with last time, the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful, too. It really enhances the overall positive experience of being at Preston Novotel. I'll certainly be back.

The room was bigger than I expected. It was clean and had a slight luxurious vibe to it. (Well, more luxurious than what I’m used to). So I was pleasantly surprised all amenities and facilities were clean and well maintained. I wish I had a chance to try the restaurant there which is something else I’m not used having availability to when I stay in Melbourne. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they even called a taxi for me as I was running late for a meeting. Recommended.

I should have asked the reception if I could have thinner pillows as the ones they have were really huge and thick which left me waking up slightly sore. That being said, I should have gone and asked them for different pillows so that’s not a slight on the hotel at all. Aside that I was very comfortable and happy with my stay.

Property had a modern feel to it with good facilities. Air conditioning worked well, ordered dessert room service which was lovely. Being high floor we had a nice view of the sky. Bed was comfortable and the bedroom portion of the room was large and spacious.

The bathroom area was too small and also right next to the bed which didn’t make the best hotel room layout. The toilet was right next to the shower which only had a small glass wall between the two, water would constantly go all over the bathroom which meant we constantly needed fresh towels and used all towels given to keep it as dry as we could. Parking was a steep $20 extra per night. Room was in need of some touch up maintenance, looked as though people had partied and damaged some of the room.

* Clean amenities and room * Great price for the room. the Nespresso machine was a wonderful complementary item. temp was on the cooler side, nevertheless, flavours was delectable lol. makes me want to buy one now, and take it to all my overnight hotel stays that don't have one one haha.. * Staff were exceptional great customer service, they held themselves to a high standards. 100% revisiting. * Dinner was amazing. I had the 250g porterhouse steak, red wine ruxe and wild mushrooms and black garlic risotto, OMG. HOWEVER, I had to send my steak back as it was too under for my liking they took it back with grace. after receiving my steak 2nd time, then, omg, it was perfect cooked soo wel soo tender and still pink, good thing I didn't have Desert coz, it would have taken away the wonderful after tastes and delightful satisfaction of the meal size.

* No raw suger, or bottled water and only 1milk * Shades and curtains were difficult to pull drapes closed open was fine.

Room was better than projected when booking. Good condition and most comfortable and clean. Included breakfast was awesome. Full buffet was appreciated with the 3 day staycation.

Onsite parking is an additional $25 per day. Add this to the room rate. It is in the fine print. Pretty disappointed with that. Place was noisy. Noise from adjacent apartment. Noise from street and trams. Noise from roof (on top floor) when windy.

The quality and location were great - the rooms were quiet too, which I really appreciated given the hotel I had been at immediately prior (where it felt like your neighbour was in the same room)

Breakfast was surprisingly very ordinary…. The hot food was barely warm every morning (4 in a row, so not a once off) - a couple of staff members we abrupt but the majority were kind and helpful

The underground carpark that cost $20 per night has damaged our car. When we departed and went to our car there had been an obvious leak from the pipes on the roof. This leak was obviously corrosive and has lifted the duco from my car. Since coming home we have tried to polish the mark, however it is permanently damaged.

I was travelling for work and stayed at the hotel as it was the same as the convention. The room was spacious and comfortable with large windows a lounging chair and a Nespresso pod machine that probably saved my sanity more than once. Understandably, due to the convention, the staff were incredibly busy but I found them very accommodating and kind when I needed help. The walls are also thick enough that any excited neighbours didn't make too much noise at all.

The bathroom is horizontally small, so if you have larger hips you may catch yourself on the sink. The other thing to note is if you are ubering in meals, you will need to pick them up from reception.
