We went for a concert and stayed for 2 days. The staff were amazing. They went out of their way to help with anything we asked. We arrived very early and within an hour our room was ready. The room was very clean and was way bigger than i anticipated. We had breakfast in the restaurant, it was a great price and it was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

If i had to pick something, it would be there was a little bit of traffic noise but thats really insignificant. Oh there werent any power points next to the bed so in a way its good because you cant have your phone in bed.

Staff very pleasant to deal with, felt welcome on arrival. Room clean, with thoughtful touches of small carton of milk, tea & coffee facilities, some maps and tourist advice. Parking excellent. I also noticed that reception stocks small convenience items such as soap, snacks etc. Bathroom refurbished, enough towels provided. There is also a restaurant for breakfast, which I didn't try, but will next time as it looked nice.

I was travelling alone and was allocated a family room for 5 people! Very austere decor, felt like a dormitory. Quite a lot of traffic noise early in the morning.

First impressions are lasting impressions. The welcome we got when we first walked in the door felt like we were being welcomed by family. Alex the manager was so so welcoming. Alex went above and beyond to make sure our stay was sensational. The room was beautifully made up the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was spectacular and everything was so clean. The motel has the option for breakfast in your room or the dining room. The food was deliciously delicious. The tram to the city is across the road and the premises had plenty of parking. Just a brilliant stay. 10/10 Just brilliant 😁😁😁

Room was neat and clean. Washroom was like brand new, clean and spotless. We started our morning with the bright sunlight through our windows, wow..... Staffs were friendly, polite and helpful. I always liked people who welcome their guests with a great smile, doesnt often happen nowadays, even in 5 stars hotel. Nowadays, people judge you by your looks, car, clothes, etc. But, St. George Inn was not like so, great smiling staff, David was there, at the time reception, friendly and professional.

Everything is good for the price. They can always upgrade as per the changing time. But for now, everything was perfect.

Great location and price for inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. Central to the main roads and the tram right out the front! Family room was spacious and beds were comfy. Having a water jug in the room was great and the tea/coffee and milk was appreciated. Whilst on a main road our room was quiet and except for a few noisy people next door it was relatively peaceful. Car parking was ample and the vending machine downstairs well stocked. We did not eat breakfast in but the choices were varied and very reasonable. The electric blankets on the beds were very nice esp after being out on a cold Melbourne winters night and coming back to a warm toasty bed! Bathrooms have been renovated with nice big rain shower heads and good water pressure but the open design and lack of door on the shower meant water went all over the floor and soaked the bath mat. Danielle at Reception was lovely, helpful and accommodating when we misplaced our key. We will happily book this place next time we come down from Brisbane without any hesitation.

Only gripe was the pillows. Very flat and hard.

Went there for the Formula 1 weekend. Tram station was directly opposite the motel and the train station was a 10 minute walk. Thornbury resturants and pub are a 10 minute walk way if required. Vending machines on site for snacks if required plus a selection of snacks and Alcohol inside reception. Rooms were very quiet considering it's on a main road and opposite the Tram stop. Rooms were also spotless and serviced daily. Staff were very friendly and knowlegable. The breakfast was good value for money and very tasty. Highly recommended and very good value for money

No issues I could think of

The spa and bathroom was exceptionally clean , must have been recent renovation. It was awesome. The room was very spacious. The beds were quite firm but comfortable enough. The one thing that was annoying was the blaring white light emanating from the air con high up in the wall. Luckily it was not too warm so just used the aircom to cool down and get air movement in the room then turn off to sleep. Overall it was a great stay... and easy definitely recommend. 👌

The room was big, clean and comfortable. Great bed and pillows and a good shower. Handy to have a fridge. Nice and quiet internally after 9pm. Reception staff were great - extremely friendly and very helpful.

Room was at the back upstairs and had frosted glass in the windows so could not see out and this made the room a bit gloomy. No lift, had to carry two large suitcases and a carry on up the stairs. Very noisy with road traffic at night.

Parking, Most of the Hotel in the city does not have enough Parking or no parking. Not too far from Airport.

After 20:00 no staffs in office....I had trouble getting my room key. Actually, the explanation of the Key was sent to my email, and I was lucky because I had Cell Phone Data Roaming... but, what if the guest did not have Data Roaming or no way to get internet access, then he or she will not know the Pass Code and never can get the room key. I think it should have at least emergency phone number or someway to reach staffs after 20:00 to check in...

Our stay was great really from the moment we walked into reception the staff where wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed and comfortable. parking great etc. and the pricing fantastic.

Only me really and trivial. The tea and coffee stuff was big and clunky and the bathroom items, soap etc were kindof mean. But, and I mean this, the pricing was so good for the night that I am being trivial with this comment.
