Excellent central location, a big room w a huge bathroom with a tub, a high-quality room-cleaning service, plentiful breakfast, competent and helpful English-speaking staff. My window was facing a street, busy during the day, but very quiet at night. Excellent choice overall!

Nothing much, I only had an issue with getting into hotel at 3:00am, when I arrived from overseas. The hotel itself is on 3 rd floor of of some building and the door to it is a responsibility of some guard, who ignored my door ring or slept on the job. As I didn’t have a cellular, so it was a very stressful situation. The hotel should have an intercom downstairs, so the late arriving guests could connect in similar situation.

I liked that it was very close to major points is interest, and had easy access to the Metro. I did enjoy morning breakfast in the morning. That was a plus, since it opened early, and it was good.

What I didn’t like was that no car or taxi could drop me off or pick me up at the door because hotel has no street access. Luggage has to be carried across the cobblestone way to and from the hotel entrance. It’s awfully hard when you’re not used to it.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. The lady attending the guests was so kind and helpful. I also loved how everything was clean and neat and tidy. But the best part about staying here is hospitable and friendly staff willing to help.

The WiFi in my room didn’t work. There was some signal and my phone was connected, but pages didn’t load. Also there was no complimentary water in the room which would be nice. In the 21st century the Internet and water shouldn’t be under question especially when the local tap water is not good for drinking.

A good location: very close to Plaza de Armas, the Santiago historic centre. Friendly staff. Provided us with the food packs when we left early and couldn't get the breakfast. Personnel helped us to book taxi through internet (we didn't speak Spanish).

Can't really think of anything. The neighbourhood was not too clean, despite the fact it's the city's historic centre. But this is by no means the Hotel's fault.

The staff was extremely helpful and they stored our bags while we walked around town. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are older but sufficient for what you need to spend the night and they were clean.

The location is in the middle of downtown so the traffic noise is rather loud. There's nothing the hotel can do differently but make sure you bring earplugs.

The location of Hotel Santa Lucia could not be better.

The Hotel Santa Lucia is old and tired. However, for only US$54per night in a prime location, one can't complain. If you want more modern facilities, you are free to pay more.

Reception staff are very helpful and polite. The room were very well cleaned.

There’s no curtains black out in the rooms.

The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable. The hotel stored our luggage for free while we walked around for the day. We had a late night flight. Breakfast is very good.
