Rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. The bed and pillows were also incredibly comfortable - next time I will try the pillow menu! Despite the proximity to Rudolfsplatz and the Aachener Str the room was very quiet. Getting an invoice was very easy and they were only too happy to email it to me.

The internet was quite slow in the room but worked fine in the lobby. I mentioned this on checkout and was informed that there is a second network that might have been better to use in the room - I wish I'd known earlier, so this is something that they could communicate a little better upon check-in.

The place is beautiful, especially the reception area. The rooms are quite big and the shower too. Great value for money, the location is perfect and central to everything in Cologne. The 7th floor had amazing views

The aircon in the room didn't really work, its more of a fan. The cleaners don't do a good job in terms of cleaning , they merely do your bed. The water was only give upon check in and no refills. The breakfast is 29 Euro or 25 Euro if you book a day in advance - which I found to be expensive The staff is unfriendly and give fake and pretentious smiles.

The accommodation was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. I completed the check-in online before arrival, so entering the room took only about three minutes. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, with a rich selection of delicacies, cheeses, freshly squeezed juices, and pastries. For those in the mood, Prosecco and steak tartare are also served. In the lobby, there is a bar and a small self-service area with essential items available.

According to the Booking.com description, slippers should be available in the room, but I was unable to find them. I would appreciate it if the window could be opened a bit more for better ventilation. Lastly, the air conditioning system is somewhat complicated to adjust, and it keeps reverting to the default settings.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel and I was once again very impressed. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, bars and public transport links. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent, with a huge choice on offer. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The wifi in the room was a bit hit and miss, dropping out quite regularly. I found the best way to keep it was to sit on the uncomfortable side shelf near the door, as sitting on the comfy seats by the window the wifi would not last very long.

It was very clean when you walked in and the staff were very welcoming. Our room was spacious and the air conditioning a god send as it was so hot! The bed was very comfortable and I loved the pillow menu next to the bed. Water, tea, coffee and sugar were supplied. Along with shower gel and shampoo and conditioner.

The hotel is in a square, they have absolutely no control over this but at night time the noise from outside is loud. They have trams running up and down both sides. A local told us it was party central in the area, you can hear a lot of talking, screaming and shouting coming from outside during the night. I spoke to a member of staff at the hotel and they sad Fridays and Saturdays were the worst nights for it. For those that sleep well like my husband it shouldn't be an issue..

Perfect location close to everything The stuff members are very welcoming and helpful It was my second time there and definitely not the last I will be back there hopefully soon!!

The cleaning crew was my only problem as I was getting ready they knocked on the door and I said not now they just went in and started questioning me about when I’m going out and when they can come in needed to say it was my last day there so I had to check out so that was not important to stat talking about it.. But except that I enjoyed every second of staying there

Location is ideal, facilities ideal (bathroom is super important ) and the breakfast buffet was fantastic

When my partner checked in he got lovely service and we continued to only work with that staff member going forwards, the staff is the restaurant we're fabulous and extra helpful and friendly. When I checked in however unfortunately the lady at the front desk was snappy, rude, and clearly not having a very good day. I remained very polite and friendly but avoided asking her anything from then onwards. I left a poor impression on me and I got the feeling that my travel apparel (I had a 7 hour journey to get there) made her assume I was in the wrong place. That was really very unfortunate

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They provided helpful directions and assisted me in booking taxis and restaurants. The breakfast offered was delicious and abundant. The room was spacious and conveniently located. Lots of restaurants & supermarket in the surroundings.

However, there is room for improvement in Housekeeping. They occasionally forgot to refill coffee and towels in my colleague's room. While I only requested housekeeping every other day, on the final day, the housekeeper inadvertently overlooked restocking coffee and towels. However, upon notifying the staff, the items were replenished within 10 minutes.

Great location to explore the city. Staff very friendly & helpful. Comp bottle of water in the room a nice touch.

Tea facilities in the room very lacking: 1 x Green / 1 x Berry 1 x Mint & 1 x Breakfast (which we would prefer) Because there is only 1 of each kind we had to share a teabag each morning & on the last morning there was no breakfast tea at all - not ideal & a small thing to rectify. We kept forgetting to ask for more but really we should not have to.
