The rooms are very well designed, there is not a lot of space but it is used very wisely. I spent a whole weekend there and I enjoyed every moment of it. The bed is comfortable, the TV is mounted on a console, so I could adjust it in any way I wanted. A not so important but still good thing: the bodywash/shampoo has a really nice smell, I liked it a lot. All in all, it has exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel.

It is really in the railway station building — so if you need to travel to/from D-dorf during your stay, or have heavy luggage, it is the best budget accommodation, just literally 20 min far from the check in counters of the airport. The guy at the reception was very helpful and friendly — I arrived at 11 a.m. having being very tired, and he gave me my room immediately, although official check in is at 3 p.m.

Ibis is Ibis — so it is minimum of everything. But it works well, for 1-2-3 nights stay it is ok.

Being right next to the train station, it could get noisy at times, with some interesting characters hanging around outside! The room was fine, but a little dated

The location is excellent, literally inside of the train station. The room was clean and had sufficient space for resting. The breakfast was nice, with good food quality and nice staff.

The surrounding area is not safe. Lots of beggars and junkies, unfortunately. The bed wasn't comfortable and the pillows were too flat, not good for my neck. The shower door wasn't sealed enough so the water leaked into the bathroom.

I liked how friendly the staff were and how helpful and approachable they were. The location was great, the hotel was spotless and it was a really enjoyable stay.

The walls were very thin so I could hear a lot of disturbance from neighbouring rooms and people in the hallway. When the cleaners were cleaning the neighbouring rooms early in the morning, it woke me up because they were really loud. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay.

The location on the main station itself is great and the proximity to ‘little Tokyo’ means there’s plenty of options for food and drink.

There is a perception that the area is dangerous due to the large number of homeless people that frequent the front of the station. In my experience however, they don’t cause any trouble and are not an issue.

The location is EXCELLENT if you have an early morning train journey, you literally walk out of the hotel and you are in the main station. The staff were very friendly. I had to leave before breakfast was served and the kitchen and night manager were super helpful and efficient boxing up some yummy options and providing good, hot, coffee A bar on site, soap/ shampoo and a hair dryer in the room were an unexpected bonus. Iron and ironing board also available on request - which is not always the case but useful if travelling for work.

Sadly, because it is right by the train station, there are some 'interesting' characters wandering around and it can feel a bit intimidating as a lone female approaching in the late evening. That's not about the hotel, that's just the nature of what can generally be found at large, city main train stations. But you have to use your key card to go up in the lift so there was no concern in terms of being in the bedroom.

The location was ideal, right next to the central train station with an access door directly to the station. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They serve a decent breakfast and have coffee machines, so you can count on a good cup of coffee to kick-off your day.

It would be great if they could add coffee making facilities in the rooms. During my stay, there was some sort of renovation taking place and they started early in the morning...this is not really related to the hotel, but it was quite noisy.

There was a good selection of food and drink at breakfast but the hot breakfast options were a little disappointing with unappetising old wrinkled sausages and poor quality bacon which also looked days old. Scrambled eggs were good.

Excellent location. I liked the fact that hotel is in the railway station. Reasonably sized rooms and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced compared with other hotels nearby.

It smelled a bit of drains (I think) in the lift and hallway. I realise this might be as this is an older building. The carpet in the hallway could do with some updating/replacement.
