The room was more than perfect, clean, and very large and the staff at the reception were very kind and smiley. The hotel location close to the train station was so good.

Some of the staff during the breakfast time were angry because there were too many people coming at the same time. They should learn how to behave politely in different situations.

The location is perfect just a 3 minutes walk from the Main Railway Station, also ideal if someone arrives by car as there is a 24 hours multilevel parking just around the corner (only 12 euros-day). As there is no road in front of the hotel (just a local train) there is no noise. The room was nice and clean. The bed was ok but the pillow was big and somehow hard for me as I prefer a soft pillow, but it doesn´t stoped me to have a good sleep. The bathroom has ample space with a big and well lighted mirror and a bathtub (in my double comfort room). Breakfast (06:30-10:30 on weekdays and until 11:30 on Sundays) is more than ok with a good selection of pastries, cold and hot items, different coffee and hot chocolate to choose, water with and without gaz, juices, philadelphia cheese (both classic and with herbs) etc but after 08:45 the personel does not refil what is empty and also the breakfast room is a little bit small for all the guests coming almost the same time, usually around 09:00. All the stuff (reception, breakfast, house keeping) is smiley, polite and helpful, especially at the reception which make me feel welcomed. Its a real bargain when the price of a single with breakfast is around 40-45 euros-night, up to a max of 60 euros-night.

The free wifi (without password, which means that you need a VPN to be safe) is very slow and not working well, if not at all at some times during peak hours. Keep in mind that the Hotel consists of different buildings connected so guests have to walk a little bit from the one and only elevator and there are some steps going down as buildings are at different levels which may not be suitable for people who they can´t walk easily and totaly unsuitable for people in a wheelhair especialy without an escort who can lift them. It sounds as a disadantage but it´s not a big deal, having in mind the low price, the good breakfast (when its included), the nice room (both renovated and the classic ones) and the perfect location.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Outstanding Stay at Hotel Madison! My stay at Hotel Madison was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were impeccably clean and offered superb comfort. The staff were courteous, professional, and always eager to help with a smile. Its prime location near Düsseldorf Station made commuting effortless, with easy access to both intercity routes and the international airport. The breakfast buffet was a standout—fresh, diverse, and truly satisfying. A perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended!

If you prefer shiny, clean at every corner, brand new furniture, like luxury hotel, it may be not for your hotel. But, I love the hotel. I had good time to stay there. The facilities seems old fashioned as good meaning - I was able to feel old traditional German hotel. red carpet - wood wardrobe, even all of other moden hotel is converted to like "boring common" design, the hotel can feel 80-90s atmoshere. I may be able to imagine what past atmosphere does it in Germany. Bed was fluffy, enough cleanness for me. If you like vinyl record, city pop music, it may be good to have a good time with such mood at the hotel. After check-out, there was luggage storage room which is locked by reception.

Amazing location close to the main train station. Rooms were renovated, mattresses are comfortable, bathroom is quite good. You do not expect such a hotel for such a low price. Breakfast is decent, considering the price.

I would prefer a better level of cleanliness, though generally it was clean. One of the reception workers blamed the other one to me, for her incompetence, which look strange. Also, front doors do not have automatic closing system, so reception staff need to spend a long way to close the door each time, which makes staff a little depressed.

Approach from the Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof is very easy only 2-3 mins walk. There are many a resturants to eat also Big REWE store is nearby for grocery items. Breakfast was good.... Over all hotel is good.

Price I feel is a bit more. Must be some lower with the same features.... Breakfast Staff was a bit rude when you request for somthing.... Wifi was slow...... Also you must book online only. They do not provide you room if you directly go to the hotel reception and ask for room. Even if they have empty rooms, they do not provide you. They say pls book online and come back to us with a booking code only. Then they can give the room. House keeping staff do not clean your room if you dont say to clean. Normally they must prepare all rooms without saying.

The hotel is very close to Düsseldorf's station making it very easy to get to and from the airport. It is also central enough for one to be able to walk to the Rhine, and thus the old town, in half an hour or so (there is, of course, public transport for those less inclined towards walking). There are some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff were helpful and friendly (I was especially grateful that they let me into the room before the official check-in time).

The room did not have air conditioning. It was warmer in Düsseldorf than I expected and, at times, having air conditioning would have been nice.

Excellent location near the railway station. A nice and comfortable room, cosy furniture. Good breakfast with variety (different kinds of bread, toppings, fruit, yoghurt etc). Helpful and friendly staff. I spent here only a night (going through the city on my travels), but I would consider this hotel for a longer stay as well.

My room was facing the big street (with trams etc.), so it was a bit noisy. I didn't mind because I'm used to traffic sounds, but for others it might be disturbing.

the Elevator.. i was using the stairs instead.. as there's only one elevator and its used from workers of the hotel as well from guests.. I had to wait more than 30 min to get a place for the breakfast.. its not well organised .. but to be honest it's not the mistake of the hotel but of the guests as they sit there forever as they are in a restaurant..

It is a great hotel to spend the night or two in if you are late for the train/bus/flight. I booked the hotel already after midnight the night the same day I checked in (about 10 minutes after booking). Everything went very smoothly and fast. Early check-out was also very fast and without any problems. The personnel was extremely helpful and worked perfectly well. Facilities were also okay. And the location is just perfect. I felt very satisfied with the hotel.

Some minor problems might be an issue for guests staying for long in the hotel (e.g., stairs, limited breakfast, the street outside the hotel), but nothing is of much importance if you go for a shorter period, e.g., a couple of days. And that's a great hotel anyway, also for an excellent price.
