Everything! The bed was extremely comfortable, the linen was luxurious, beautiful thick towels - we loved the turndown service every night. The staff were all so beautiful and friendly. We had a massage at the spa and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pool and spa were clean and a welcome relief from the heat. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choices on the menu. Great location close to everything. They even opened up breakfast early for us as we had an early tour. So very helpful and kind.

Great rooms, large and comfortable beds and a lounge area.

Tiny gymnasium only big enough for two people max. The swimming pool water was a an odd green color. The restaurant staff need more education. Toast rarely comes dry without butter or jam but we had to request it every morning of our seven day stay. It was a challenge eye to get soft boiled eggs - something one could expect easily done. Please serve hot food on hot plates.

What an absolutely fantastic hotel. Perfect in every way! Staff: delightful, friendly & professional. Housekeeping: so meticulous. Loved the little biscuits, chocolates & treats they put on the bed as part of the downturn service. Really appreciated the two bottles of water per day & coffee & tea being replaced daily. Good to see the drinking water being supplied in glass bottles for the sake of the environment. Location: Maison Aurelia is located in the perfect spot. Lots of cafes, restaurants, day spas, pharmacies, a huge supermarket & convenience stores right outside your door. Close to the beach & Icon Bali too. Hotel: Gorgeous swimming pool & spa. Well-maintained in lovely gardens. Plenty of sun beds & a few different pools suitable for the little ones. Meals are good-service is great! I enjoyed the live music. Room: The Camellia room is huge & the bed is extremely comfortable. There is a choice of two shower heads. There’s a sitting area, a desk & a comfortable chair to relax on. There’s also a little balcony area too. Room keys & the AC worked consistently the entire week. I enjoyed using the coffee machine & pods supplied. Loads of options with lighting which was greatly appreciated. The Wifi was excellent. I highly recommend Maison Aurelia & will definitely be back next year. It is a brilliant hotel.

Maison Aurelia is a lovely hotel property on the main street in Sanur, about a block from the beach. The rooms are large and soundproofed with balconies overlooking the town. The hotel provides glass bottles and there is a filtered water dispenser on every floor to reduce plastic waste. There is an attached restaurant and spa. The masseuses were very experienced, unlike in some spas in town. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices and good coffee. The salads served at other meals were superb although we mostly ate out at the excellent Three Monkeys down the road. There is a workout room with yoga mats, always appreciated. Finally, Sanur is a charming small town on the sea with a nice beach boardwalk, a destination in itself, about 1 hour from Ubud but much calmer with less traffic. Top marks!

This is the second time we have stayed, just love the location. Short walk to the beach and centrally located. Many restaurants to choose from, from your Warungs to 5 star restaurants. Cork restaurant that is part of Maison Aurelia has a great selection of meals to choose from. Our room was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Love the pool here as it stays cool and never feels like bath water, like some other pools in Bali. Love the small touches like a note left in the evening to say what the following temperature for tomorrow will be and small cakes or biscuits left too. Staff are always friendly and most helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is great. Staff always greet with a smile and so helpful. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops just outside hotel door, although the restaurant on site is good, food, drink and staff. Beds are so comfortable. Well maintained and clean in rooms and communal areas. Swimming pool clean and always fresh towels available. Short 10min walk to beach where you can hire a sun bed for the day for approx £2.50. Would highly recommend.

Only small thing but hotel swimming pool didn’t get afternoon sun. Only a short walk to beach so this didn’t affect us too much.

This is a small boutique property in the main shopping street of Sanur. My room was large & had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the fact that the small pool is shady as it provides shelter away from the sun. As other people have noted, you can access the beach via one of the public pathways across the road. The staff here are so kind & welcoming. They never failed to greet me, smile & ask about my day.

I found nothing to dislike but I’m sure that if there was something you didn’t like you would only have to speak to the beautiful staff & they would do their very best to sort it for you.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Maison Aurelia Sanur. The Hotel was very cleaned and the bed was large and very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. The hotel had both a buffet and set menu option and was very good. A lovely pool area with a separate jacuzzi. The location was very good and right in the middle of Sanur and probably a 12 to 15 mins walk to the beach promenade through one of the access lanes. A good selection of restaurants and bars all around. Our room was large with a balcony on the third floor facing across Sanur town. The hotel also had a separate Restaurant/Bar called "Cork".

Everything met our expectation

Maison Aurelia is brilliant! Room setup worked very well for us with young children, a central lounge so we could close off when the kids were asleep. Beds are comfortable. AC works well. Bathrooms are compact and could be cleaned a bit better / upgraded but are OK Cork restaurant is very convenient and good food wise - perfect for the kids and us when we couldn’t get out in the evening. Their wine selection is amazing - live music Monday to Thursday from 7-10pm, we could have a glass of wine and listen to the music from our balcony. Location is very handy with money exchange, souvenirs, grocery shops, pharmacy, and a short walk to the beach. Adult Bicycles available for free to use Very good coffee shops on the way (Lillian, bread basket and kopi coffee very good) Spa on site is very good too and we were happy to pay for the convenience of it all. Many spas also very close to the hotel Staff are extremely helpful, they couldn’t do enough to help us. It was such a smooth experience that we are in fact going back to stay there again! Don’t think twice about booking here

very nicely appointed and comfortable room at a good price. Very nice breakfast included in our deal. Smaller hotel with nice pool, though often in the shade. This was appreciated after being out in the Bali heat! Cork restaurant and bar is part of the space but you can't charge back to rooms (do get a discount). This was also very nicely appointed with a good menu and drink selection. All staff in hotel and Cork were great. The hotel is situated on the main shopping road of Sanur and 5min walk to the beach. All in all, a great option for a cost-effective getaway in Sanur.

possibly a bigger pool in more sunshine. But it was just right for the size of the hotel and a cool oasis from the heat. So its not like that we didn't like it, just make sure you're happy with that before you book (this isn't a massive hotel with a number of pools etc.)
