The non-local staff are not friendly and they are not welcoming the guests even not smiling with uncomfortable attitude as expected opposite than the local staff They must to be replaced many others are welling to work to provide the best service

Very nice location, great breakfast and comfortable room. staff seem genuinely happy and glad to help. Especially Saif at the desk was a person with always a smile. Housekeeping was a definite hit.

Room service was very off... Half the things on the menu were not available. I understand it's Ramadan, but especially during Ramadan when room service is the only option, it doesn't make sense to have so many missing options.

The stuff of the hotel is outstanding. The way everyone treated us (specially our little daughter) was 10/10. The hotel is very new. Room was big, cosy ans extremely clean. Restaurant was also good. The swimming pool in the roof was a plus as we were traveling with our 2 year old daughter. Super convenient if you want to go diving to Daymanyat islands or as a stop over to start or finish your trip as it is quite near to the airport. Otherwise it is to far away from the main turistic places of Muscat. In the marina there are some nice terraces to have dinner or drink something.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel during two separate visits in May. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the proximity to a small shopping centre with a fantastic supermarket and pharmacy—very convenient. One small hiccup was my request to swap the duvet for a top sheet due to the extreme heat (48°C outside). This was met with some confusion and took a bit of explaining, but eventually it was sorted.

Excellent stay at the Mysk Hotel. Solo traveller from the UAE waiting a quiet long weekend to reset. I used pool, sauna and gym everyday. Just what I needed! The staff were excellent - in particular the room assistant Saif kept everything perfect!

Further from some of the things I wanted to do, but that also made it great as nice and quiet!

Lovely experience. The hotel is really well located, in Al Mouj and very close to the airport. If you're looking for a hotel closer to the main viewpoints of Muscat, this one might be a bit far. The room was spacious, comfortable. As a smoker, I did enjoy the fact that I could smoke in my room - we've all dreaded the going down to the entrance to have one. Not a breakfast person so couldn't speak to it, nor other amenities. The pool is on top of the hotel, it looked good but more suited for a dip than for a swim. Mind you, this hotel doesn't serve alcohol, so don't expect a midnight glass after a day's work. The staff, as expected in Oman, was absolutely delightful.

The place is clean and quiet. The furniture is elegant and The doors are luxurious The view of the marina is amazing. The hotel's location is excellent. I would like to thank one of the receptionists for her great assistance in providing service.

The room smells bad and the air is humid. The internet is very slow. The shower mixer is unclear when opening and closing. The sink drains are slow. I couldn't adjust the air conditioner to a specific temperature. There is no external ventilation. Some of the metal parts in the bathroom need scrubbing to shine. The bathroom needs some floor renovation, especially the toilet area.

Nice, modern hotel with an excellent breakfast and located next to a very cosy part of town !

Nice Property

Terrible Breakfast. Please avoid their breakfast. Unable to serve hot milk. Unable to serve fresh hot tea. Milk was served from a machine. It was lukewarm. Not hot. Dosa was served without a Sambar or Coconut Chutney. We were ready to top dollars for these basic stuff. Every breakfast item except Omlette was cold or very cold. Get stoves to keep the food warm folks. All the pots have to be kept on stoves to keep them warm for guests. Every salad was super cold. Folks, keep a microwave handy if your salads are ice cold.

We give it a 9 out of 10 (Why not 10? It's not really Oman,, but we knew that when we booked so no complaints!) Located in a fancy Marina area close to the airport it's the perfect way to start your vacation, if you're into a bit of a more classy vacay that is. Omani, walk around in their traditional cloths, as well as westerners (tourIsts & expads). The marina, is a stylefull (absolutely not authentic! ) place with some outstanding restaurants. The hotel is located in the middle of this semi buzzing area. As Muscat is one long stretched city it's impossible to choose a hotel which is near all 'must see sights', hence we opted for a hotel reasonably close to the airport and at the sea.. (Rent a car, it's super easy to drive) Parking is below the hotel 👌 The rooftop pool is not very big, but we had no issues securing space the 2 nights we stayed there. The hotel is good, you pay extra for the area I think, as all hotels we have been in in Oman have excellent service. Ooh an extra plus for smokers; there is a smokers room floor. Stay here to acclimatize and then go see the real Oman;)
