I recently stayed at this hotel during a visit to Nottingham (we went to the Splendour Festival) and was impressed by both the convenience of the location and the overall quality of the Hotel. The property is situated within close proximity to several supermarkets, making it easy to buy necessities. In addition, the hotel is well connected by public transport, with both bus and tram stops nearby, ensuring seamless travel within the city and to Wollaton park. The room was clean and well-appointed. The air conditioning worked effectively throughout my stay. The bed was notably comfortable, and the shower offered strong water pressure. Overall, this hotel provides excellent value for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Nottingham. I would not hesitate to recommend it for either business or leisure stays.

A Gleaming Review for Holiday Inn Nottingham by IHG My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Nottingham from 17th to 19th January 2025. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding staff and their thoughtful gestures. When booking, we were warmly helped by Shubana, whose kindness and attention to detail turned our stay into a truly memorable occasion. Knowing it was my boyfriend’s birthday, she surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. This thoughtful gesture made us feel incredibly special and set the tone for a delightful stay. Upon arrival, staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was spotless and had everything you needed, and the stay was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, I must commend the breakfast staff for their excellent service and delicious food. The team was attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They were more than willing to assist us with the menu, which made our mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, the hospitality and service at Holiday Inn Nottingham were impeccable. We left with fond memories and a desire to return in the future. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful!

It was newly furnished, clean, modern.. parking was free & on site, no extras to pay or deposits, very good value for money, the staff were very friendly great location

Really friendly professional staff on reception and at breakfast, beautiful clean quiet bedroom, tea and coffee in room. Really comfy king-size bed with crisp clean sheets. Lovely soap and towels. Hairdryer. Drawers and wardrobe. Aircon. Super homely smart lobby and restaurant. Great breakfast. Water by reception. Not far to lovely walk by canal into town. Near supermarket and MacDonalds etc

No decaf tea in room No proper decaf coffee at breakfast, but staff provided me with a mug of hot milk to make sachet decaf coffee ☕ thank you.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The room was clean and fresh and the mattress was the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on . I wish I could have bought won for myself and the quilts where amazing again I'd love to buy one. Breakfast was very well organised and hot and tasted lovely. There was plenty of gluten free and dairy free options. I would have preferred more fresh fruit as I don't like fruit cocktail I prefer to choose what fruit I like but it's my personal preference.. All staff where friendly and kind. We asked for extra pillows and they had them straight away sent to our room. I loved that the curtain where blackout . The window where clean inside and out. The shower was amazing and the towel where soft. The soap was lovely and a good brand. The hotel was disabled friendly and staff where lovely. There was lots of plugs around the room to.

To be honest there wasn't anything I didn't like , I would say the rooms are great and blackout curtains where perfect , however the gap under the door left alot of light from the hallway in , so solving that would be nice. The Aircon was great but no instructions so we had to Google it . The food was a little expensive , we went over to the pub over the road and found it cheeper , but having room service was a lovely luxury.

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a good selection for breakfast. We tried the smoked salmon and boiled eggs from the kitchen one morning which was an extremely generous prtion of salmon. The location was only a short tram ride away from the centre. Overall our stay at this hotel was great value for money. If I am in Nottingham again I would definitely return here.

When I booked the hotel I was certain when I tried to pay in advance for parking it stated complimentary parking. But that wasn't so when I arrived at the hotel we had to pay!!

Everything! What a clean, comfortable hotel. Interiors were smart . Staff were super friendly and professional. We were well looked after. The hotel smells gorgeous! And is spotlessly clean throughout. Nice bar area. We had a lovely lunch in the bar which was tasty and brought to us fairly quickly. Room was lovely, bed and pillows really comfy. Again spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. Lovely walk along the canal to get to the city centre, the hotel is far enough away to make it lovely and quiet but close enough to stroll into the city (for us anyway, we are big walkers ) After a night out in nottingham centre we had a nightcap in the bar followed by a peaceful nights sleep. No noise at all could be heard from our room. We breakfasted the next day in the restaurant at the buffet breakfast which was an impressive spread the bacon was especially delicious and we were also told that there were freshly cooked items available to order (like poached eggs and omelettes) lovely coffee too a d plenty of cereals/pancakes and pastries. Parking was free and plentiful. Really enjoyed our stay and thought it was really good value. And must mention again the really helpful and friendly staff. Top notch!

The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a mini fridge in the room and a coffee machine! But that's just me being picky . I like to be able to get an ice-cold drink in the night (especially when I've been drinking alcohol) and I do love a proper coffee in bed to wake up a bit before I have to get ready . But not having these things wouldn't stop me coming again!

Perfect location, really pleased with the service we received. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. we booked a family room. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked for additional items (cot, towels, etc) lovely new bar was a great addition to the hotel. Parking was easy and at no additional cost to hotel guests.

The only minor issue was that we needed the bedding changed and room service done to a higher standard. The bedding was gross with the kids eating in the rooms. They had tucked the bedding in but would advise to change the sheets if you have young people staying in the family rooms.

Likes Staff were amazing. Very friendly Clean room Breakfast is substantial with plenty of options Moved us to a different room as there was an adjoining door which we didn't like. Dislikes Having to pay extra for parking Nothing bad, but a good coffee in the morning is essential. Not very good with coffee machines Hairdryer didn't work, but quickly swapped Light didn't work, but wasn't a big deal Massive party of kids on a hockey trip that hampered sleep and getting breakfast

The hotel has had a face-lift since I was last there a couple years ago and everything was so pleasant. The reception was immaculate as were the lifts, the corridors had a fresh smell to them. The rooms were spacious and had everything you could need. The restaurant was clean and presentable with comfortable seating. The staff were lovely and courteous and answered all our question. It was also easy to get around Nottingham, a tram line was a 5 min walk away and only 2 -3 stops away from the city centre if you didn't want to walk in.
