Very clean modern rooms, friendly staff, good location, shuttle bus service, good shower and bathroom. Nice decor. Decent facilities ..2 pools, 7-11 shop,

Only a few minor niggles.. requested a room with double bed but got single beds even when hotel said I would get a double...so a minor mistake maybe..however I was moved to a room with queen size bed after 3 days ..which was good. One other niggle was being overcharged by booking.com ..though this was not hotel fault.. basically.the amount billed was more than the amount approved on my credit card..this is very sneaky and underhand ..not nice, but the hotel does not cause that.

Scent of lobby was Very strong irritating lilly scent. Walls along hallway and in the room full of marks, need scrubbing. A simple regular clean on the walls will make the stay more worth 250 dollars a night. We asked to borrow cutleries and plates. The lady mentioned of the 5.50 DELIVERY fee. I said ok, since there is a fee for that person to bring up the items, I asked for 2 pairs of each. And they charged me 11 dollars!!!! I didn't argue and didn't want to stress for that amount. But... this should have been just customer service.

The staff (especially Mirza!) were very friendly and were more than willing to accommodate us dropping off / leaving our baggage at the reception desk. The free shuttle bus service to Orchard Road was great too.

It would have been nice if the pool was open 24 hours. At check-in we were told that we would have to pay a deposit on top of the room fee, then subsequently told by another member of staff that this was not necessary as we were paying by debit card. This meant that we converted a lot more currency into SGD than necessary.

The facilities are amazing, room is very clean. And the location is very good for tourists, just few minutes travel to reach places like Orchard Rd, Ion Orchard, Art museum. Additionally, staff is friendly and giving prompt response

The furniture in the room is quite old, and we have an aircon leakage

It was a fantastic hotel in almost every way. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, it was clean and tidy and the pool and exercise room delivered exactly as promised. The room helpfully had USB charge ports by the bed so I didn't have to worry about plug converters and you could turn off all the lights in the room from the bed too which was very nice.

The only thing I didn't like was that the breakfast was absolute chaos, far too many people even at 7 in the morning. Getting a table was an issue, you always had to share and just getting to the food was a bit tricky. Also it's not really a hotel issue but the attached restaurants had some short staffing issues so getting served took a long time.

Very accessible We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Singapore on Stevens! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The room was comfortable, providing a relaxing environment after a day of sightseeing. A standout feature of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Special thanks to Mr. Ashokan, who went above and beyond to assist us with our extended booking. His accommodating nature and professionalism truly made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast spread was also good, offering a variety of dishes to suit different tastes and preferences. Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable stay in Singapore, and Mercure on Stevens played a big role in that. Highly recommended!

Room was lovely. Good shower. Very clean. Bit of road noise.

Breakfast was dire! So busy. Didn’t realise we were sharing with the Novotel! Tables not cleared promptly. Food cold. Worst breakfast I have ever had in 20:years travelling through Singapore to Australia. Venue for breakfast changed the following day - no better sad to say! . I arrived from UK an hour before my son who met me from Australia - I was told he was in the room next door to mine as requested - when he arrived he was told his room wasn’t ready - almost 2 hours till he got his key! Such a disappointment. Staff were very poor at reception. No courtesy room for getting changed in before heading to airport late in afternoon. Was told I could use the disabled toilet ☹️ - floor was swimming with water - staff not interested! !

The Location of the Stevens mercure is beautiful! It is located in a very calm area and actually reachable by bus and metro. We mostly used the Stevens metro as it is only 2 bustops away. Once at the metro little india, Chinatown and the rest of the atrractions are only a few stops from the hotel by metro!What we loved most, is being able to use the garden area of the hotel in the evenings. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, a 7 up store , winery,pizzeria , cafes etc . Our room was relatively tiny but served its purpose. It was cleaned every day and we got our complementary water bottles as well as coffee , tea sachets . The pool is beautiful and the amenities are as depicted , not photoshopped. Thankyou mercure team for your kindness and great service and making our stay worth it !

The AC´s aren't silent.

The room was very clean and had a sufficient size for one person. If you're with two persons and have two suitcases it would be a little bit tight, as there is not really a wardrobe. I really liked the shuttle service provided from the hotel to get to the Orchard road or MRT station and start the sightseeing from there.

The breakfast was good with a lot of choices (especially Asian food), but for Western food it would have been great to have more choice of cheese. There was actually only Cheddar cheese provided. I arrived early in the morning, but it was not possible to get an earlier check-in. If I would to check-in earlier, I would have to book an additional night.
