Due to its age and fairly basic amenities, this property is deserving of its 3-star accommodation rating however is perfectly functional, clean and incredibly spacious. The location couldn't be better as it's close to Stevens MRT, with a convenience store, MacDonalds, Italian restaurant and very nice café located at the bottom of the building. There's also access to a gym and a small pool. The Botanical Gardens are a 15-20 min walk away or accessible via the MRT, and Stevens is on the same line as many of the major attractions or via an easy transfer. The apartment is serviced three times a week and there are adequate cooking facilities in the kitchen although without any pantry items. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and wardrobe area spacious. All in all, a great place to stay for the budget-minded on an extended holiday!

The shared laundry facility is not the most inviting and is somewhat costly but it's there, if needed. Little bit of a strangely set-up bathroom area and the shower head wasn't the best but the water was hot and it did the job. All minor issues considering the property's value for money.

1. The location was ideal — Stevens MRT station is just a 5-minute walk away. In addition, several buses (e.g., 67, 170) stop nearby. It’s also only one MRT stop from the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a real gem in the city. 2. There is a grocery store on-site — though there are cheaper options a bit farther away as well as a couple of eateries. 3. There is also a laundromat. 4. The gym and the pool are available (though I didn’t get a chance to use them). 5. The staff were accommodating, which I truly appreciated.

There was a foul smell in the first room I was given, but fortunately, I was able to move to another one. Unfortunately, this second room still had an unpleasant odor coming from the wall-to-wall carpet. The hotel is located on Bukit Timah Road, a major avenue with heavy traffic throughout the day and night, which makes the rooms particularly noisy. While the air conditioning helps mask some of the noise, it is far from enough. As someone familiar with Singapore, I’m used to a certain level of noise pollution, but for tourists, this could be an unwelcome surprise.

The location was extremely convenient, as the serviced apartment is just a few minutes’ walk from Stevens MRT station. Additionally, there is a convenience store, restaurant, café, and even a McDonald’s within the building complex. The apartment was the right size for three people and well-suited for a week-long stay. Having air-conditioning in both rooms was a welcome addition, especially in the Singapore heat. There is also an open-air swimming pool within the complex, which is great if you want to go for a swim ; we hardly saw anyone using it, so it felt very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, whether it was arranging an extra bed or accepting a grocery delivery on our behalf a couple of days before our arrival.

What we didn’t like...not much, really, but if I had to mention a few things, I’d say the kitchen could use a bit of a refresh, and both the toilet and shower doors didn’t close properly. We also had to switch on a button about 10 minutes in advance to get hot water in the bathroom, which wasn’t always convenient. There’s no washing machine in the apartment itself, though there is a laundry room in the building with two washing machines and two dryers. They operate using tokens (S$5 per token for a 30-minute load or dry), which can be obtained at reception ; but payment is cash only, which wasn’t practical for us as we don’t use cash at all when in Singapore. Room service isn’t daily; our apartment was cleaned three or four times during our stay.

This is a great location and has local services like a super market, cafe on the premises. The pool and gym facilities are great (Clean pool, and you can use the commercial gyms on site). We rented the larger apartment and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The train and bus are a few meters away, and they take you all over Singapore very economically. We did use Grab taxis about half the time either due to weather and timing, and these also worked well. 24 hour desk is helpful given flight delays. The local supermarket meant we could get in food as required. Even though Singapore offers great opportunities to eat out, we were able to cook in the apartment on a few occasions. We also used the on prem laundry, which costs S$5 per wash (you need to buy tokens from the front desk). There is also a great Italian restaurant on site. Very close to the Botanical gardens. We encountered some very nice staff on the front desk, although some were a little abrupt and unhelpful. A/C in main room and bed room worked well given the typical Singapore heat and humidity. Comfortable and spacious bed (for Singapore).

This is an older apartment so some of the facilities are a little old. The kitchen has lots of cupboards, most of which are empty - it would have been good to have some more kitchen facilities. For example the toaster oven is a poor replacement for an ordinary toaster. Items like shampoo and soap are not replaced and you need to buy or bring your own. You need to turn on the HWS manually, and you only get about one shower out of it. (We made that work by turning it back on and waiting about 15 mins). We needed brush and shovel to sweep up some mess, and even though there is a broom closet by the front door, there's nothing in it! None of these were deal breakers given the reasonable price, but some small changes could improve things.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned and linen changed every second day. The location was perfect for our touring with train and bus facilities only a short walk away. Cafe's, restaurant, gym and local, well equipped grocery store on the ground floor an added bonus.

a pity the silastic grout in the wet areas was renewed with a WHITE silastic rather than a NEUTRAL. I felt it downgraded the unit a little, such an upmarket facility a little spoilt.

The ease of getting to the MRT was great. The apartment was really quiet, comfortable and spacious and it was brilliant to have a well stocked supermarket so close.

The info book needs updating; the hairdryer wasn't where it said in the book (it was in a different room in the dressing table drawer that didn't look like a drawer) and the WiFi was different to the book info. The hot water was great - once we realised which of the many switches to press! The decor could be updated - but no problem for Singapore prices because we would definitely stay again if in Singapore again.

Excellent location 2 min walk to Steven MRT. Good supermarket, McDonald's, Rituals, Italian restaurant-all in the same building. Gym and other facilities plus good swimming pool. Spacious sitting room, bedroom. Toilets separated for shower, wash basins, EWC, closet was a new concept not seen anywhere. Management encouraged guests to be aware of electricity and water consumption, by switching off all lights & AC when going out. A good practice. Kitchen had everything needed for our needs, including wine opener, adaptor. Etc.

There was no door between bedroom & toilet cluster. Would have provided better privacy. Otherwise all good.

We spent nine nights in the hotel. There were two rooms. One bedroom for us and the living room where my son had extra bed. The place was large with well-equipped kitchen. The cleaning service was also good. There is washing machine and clothes dryer avaliable (for extra money but not too much). The swimming pool is big enough to swim and relax a bit. The localization is also perfect. 2 minutes far away from the underground.

Strange door in the bathroom and no door in the bedroom where you can see people being in the bathroom.

Very clean, spacious and well equipped apartment within a few minutes walk of Steven’s MRT which allows easy access around the island. There is an Italian restaurant, McDonald’s, cafe, Subway, spa and gym located by the apartment. The pool is very clean and we were the only people to use it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and Kelvin made a point of saying hello and calling us by our names. Would highly recommend staying in these apartments if you want spacious, clean and well located accommodation, I would not hesitate to stay again and am already planning a return trip

No washing up liquid is supplied which does not encourage people to wash dishes thoroughly

Our second stay, close to family. Great transport links, good supermarket downstairs, great coffee shop. Spacious, very comfortable bed, blackout curtains, shower and pool. Very clean, with great regular room service. Staff very helpful

Basic washing up equipment would be appreciated. I caught my fingers in the toilet glass door - I’d be concerned about having a child stay.
