Great pool area and service here was excellent - they will bring drinks and food to your sunlounger and are very attentive. Sun cream provided at the pool and chilled water and as many towels as you like. Very convenient for the park - great shuttle service on the boat or a really easy walk. Nice coffee shop onsite. Can get Ubers very easily. Big gym that is very well equipped. The bathroom is split so the shower and toilet are separate. This is good because the sink and mirror are still available to use if your partner is in the shower. Everything is so easy here - the staff are very friendly and happy to help.

There is no minibar - there is a fridge in the room but it was empty. But there is a well stocked shop in the lobby!

The room was very comfortable. I was offered a room with a bath for my infant without me even having to ask. The characters in the lobby were awesome! They were so attentive and can’t thank them enough for how happy they made my 20 month old. The water taxi to the parks was a great perk! Overall a great hotel for families 😊

Unfortunately our bathroom socket wasn’t working and our room was located quite far from the lobby. The food could be improved but the coffees and cocktails were all great!

Very busy at weekends, probably because of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal so couldn't get into the hotel bar, 2 hour wait for a table they said Breakfast is very expensive and only average Hotel bar is whiskey and rum based and limited deserts, could expand the menu a little for those looking for night cap and snack with some more vodka based cocktails

Beautiful property with a huge heated outdoor pool that was open until 10pm. Everything was very clean, with comfy beds. Both restuarants we tried were excellent, with the cafe open late. The water taxi to the park was a nice touch - that helped save our tired feet! We weren't too tired for ping pong outside the gym! Friendly, welcoming staff. Well stocked gift shop.

Flights into Orlando were not matching up with our plans, so i added a day at the hotel. When i called the hotel (a month in advance) to ask about keeping the same room for both reservations - i was told it would be no problem. But we ended up having to change rooms. A minor inconvenience, but on a 3 day mini vacation every minute counts.

Everything!! From the lobby to the rooms and the restaurants, and staff was super friendly and helpful. All the water taxi captains were awesome too. Some of the staff that stood out by name were Nico and David (from the Kanteen), Alessandra (from Amatista), and especially Mark Huurneman (Director of Food & Beverage). However, all were extremely kind and helpful.

The staff at the coffee shop were a little too matter-of-fact rather than kind and friendly as were everyone else. They seemed a little disinterested in showing a lot of enthusiasm toward the hotel guests in our opinion.

very good hotel with great location and very high level facilities - a fitness room, wide pool and easy parking/ the family room is too small narrow the water taxi - This was the main reason we got the hotel - but it wasn't much accsable in rush hours. ONLY 2 boats going and returning with great amount of people trying to get back ay 22:00 end time of parks. more than an hour waiting at the pier (in rainy weather) .

The fitness room, wide pool and easy parking. nice restaurants easy walking by foot to Volcano Bay nice quiet rooms

2nd time visiting and we liked the proximity to Universal, free boat there, hour early entry to the park, the restaurant areas and decent sized family rooms. Quite a nice, modern hotel and super-friendly, nice staff

The pool wasn’t very clean by our last day.. some junk floating in it. As the room rate didn’t include breakfast, it was super expensive for what it was, for breakfast daily..and finally, it is soo cold in the hallways/reception/corridors and restaurant areas. Not good to come in from 28-30 degree Celsius weather to around 5-10 degrees max/ air-con blowing strong..

The location of this hotel is great if you are visiting Universal, a short boat ride takes you right into the parks. The boats operate frequently throughout the day. The room itself in the hotel was fine, a little bit rough around the edges and maybe could do with a refurb but it was clean and was so handy. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good at reasonable prices. The pool area was lovely and the pool is open until 11pm which is great as it was lovely to have a dip after a hot day in the parks! If I was going to Universal again, I would definitely stay in this hotel again for its location.

The rooms could do with an upgrade.

How clean the hotel was , how happu, friendly and helpful most of the staff were. A great location to visit Universal Studios. The water taxi was very useful.

The food in the restaurant was very pricey. If you pay for the breakfast buffet and can eat alot of food it is worth the money but if you just have a bowl of cereal it is not worth the money. The evening menu was quite pricey for what it was. Apart from that everything was great at the hotel. It would be nice if you could use the Gold VIP dine card for discount in the restaurants at the hotel

The location, the pool, the lobby, the Strong Water Tavern, were all so AMAZING!!! we LOVED the water taxi, the Fitness center was the nicest I've ever seen at a hotel, and the kids LOVED the pool

The only problem we encountered was the long line at the coffee shop. But Starbucks was just next door.
