Karen and Kim made a long day of traveling with lost luggage and 2 kids, simply graceful! We were weary from the road and hadn't had much go our way, even worse, situations that made traveling with a 3 year old and 8 month old down right horrible. We didn't know we were going to meet our miracle workers! The kind voice, attention to detail, and empathy made me wish they were family. I will come back over and over again because Karen and Kim!

The property is showing signs of wear and tear, rooms too. For the price point we usually get less wear or less noticeable. Location and amenities make up for it.

It was very clean, even with most of the guests being kids because there was a dance competition in the hotel. They also let us check in a few hours early before our event started which was awesome!

The elevators are way too small for that size of a hotel. It was ridiculous wait times to get one that actually had room on it. Also the parking garage under the hotel is crazy expensive and they don't give a discount for guests. It is also poorly marked for traffic flow.

The Hyatt Regency at State Capital is a stellar location with modern amenities and at least 4 restaurants, including the rooftop revolving Eagles Nest, Starbucks, and a Subway, a bank, a CVS self-service OTC pharmacy, and a walk-in medical clinic inside the hotel! In addition, a bellhop, a pool, valet parking, with access to the Indianapolis Convention center, The Circle City Mall, the movie theatre, the Arts Garden, additional restaurants and more without even walking outside!

The $189 hold placed on my bank card at check-in! I'm not sure why this process is necessary, but fortunately, it is refunded at checkout.

Room was very comfortably furnished (good pillows on the bed!), and well-cooled by the A/C without too much noise. View of the capitol was as advertised. Gym looked fantastic though I didn't use it. Pool was small but well kept. Staff friendly and helpful!

The building is starting to feel a bit dated, and it felt a bit expensive for what we got. In particular, $60/night for valet parking is too much, though the staff pointed us to some self-parking options that were a little less expensive. Also, in the future I might stay in a different neighborhood, since this area is defined by the mall and convention center. For tourists looking for interesting restaurants and local flavor, I might look elsewhere.

Check in was smooth, room was ready, clean and comfortable. Had a great view of the street below for people watching. Hotel is within walking distance of several attractions including the Lucas Oil stadium, several restaurants, and shopping. There is a connectin walkway to the conference center and the mall. As someone traveling alone, I felt very safe and the security seemed very good. Room service was great and there is a Starbucks in the lobby along with a Subway and a restaurant. The lobby was inviting with several places to sit comfortably and drink coffee and watch TV.

Walls were a bit thin.

The front desk employees were exceptional. Gift, who checked us in, and the young lady who checked us out (I'm sorry I forgot her name, but she was great) were very personable - they made us feel appreciated. Mya- our server at The Eagles Nest, was also praiseworthy.

The mattress was somewhat uncomfortable...it felt well-worn, with less softness than I like. Also, a night light in the bathroom would be a great addition.

The staff went beyond of what was expected, the room was great and the valet service was also great, enjoyed the food at the restaurant.

The only thing that was not great was the toilet paper. Can't believe for such a great hotel would use such cheap toilet paper. You could tell it was two ply because the two ply's were seperated and you had to put them together

It was close to the convention center and it had skywalk which was amazing and cool. The staff was amazing at the restaurant in the hotel during breakfast and dinner at the bar the area was well kept it was clean besides dust in certain places. That was my first time staying at a Hyatt hotel and I enjoyed it

The parking lot it didn’t have good directions to the elevator our first day we had to carry our stuff up the stairs from the parking garage. There was dust on the phone and on the TV in the bed room. But other than that it was a good trip.

The kindness of the staff from the front desk to the Valet. The Valet could tell that I was rattled about not being able to find the parking entrance—he came with me to my car, got in, and directed me to the parking entrance. He was so very kind! I also thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with the lady making my omelet—she enjoys her job and it shows!! Convenient to Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The site could have said which street the parking entrance located—my GPS put me as arrived and I was in the back of the building.

Due to the Conference week the breakfast buffet was offered instead of individual items. The level of food items were not what a four/ five star hotel would offer for the price charged/person.

Bar food was decent, staff seemed happy to be there. The weekend service and food quality seemed worse than mid week
