Beautiful riverfront room... make sure to include breakfast during booking but if you overlook that detail, they will accommodate.

Traffic around the facility will be a challenge depending on your arrival/departure or leisure. It shares a property site with residential living and an international elementary/middle school.

The room was large. I liked having a balcony because the hotel was near the river and it provided amazing views. We requested high floor and were put on the 34th floor which was fantastic for our first time in Bangkok. The complimentary items in the room were a nice touch compared to other hotels that sneak in fees for simple things like water. The pool was a good size and the pool deck was very big with lots of chairs which we enjoyed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My partner is a smoker and enjoyed the dedicated smoking areas.

Elevators were a little small and slow but there are 5 total elevators so it wasn’t much of an issue at all. Price was a bit high but it was worth every dollar.

Rooms were very clean and view is tremendous, staff incredibly polite and helpful

In these days of rooftop bars one feels as though the hotel would benefit greatly from one of these or at least a bar near the Riverfront where you could sit in the evening and possibly some evening entertainment

Stunning hotel right on the river. We had a beautiful suite high up with fantastic views of the city and river. Very comfortable bed, great shower and kitchen area. The swimming pool was just the best with sun most of the day and super poolside service from the staff. The breakfast choice was exceptional and we sat outside on the terrace each morning taking in the riverside activities. The lifts were super fast and the staff were fantastic and helpful all the time. Reception area was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. Free boat shuttle every 30 mins to and from the sathorn ferry pier was the icing on the cake and we used it regularly as a gateway into travelling around Bangkok. A proper, quality hotel. We loved every minute of our stay and will certainly return. Top class.

The location is a little south of the centre but that seems to be where all the big nice hotels are anyway. No real problem for us because the boat shuttle saved the day.

From the moment I arrived, I have been impressed by the exceptional service, attention to detail and beautiful location by the riverside. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, with a magnificent view of the river. I would like to commend the staff for their friendly and courteous service. They have all been very welcoming and accommodating, making my stay truly unforgettable. Our profound gratitude to Ms. Rawtwan ( the head of the restaurant section) and her team at the restaurant, she is a wonderful lady with great inter-personal skills, who alway make you feel welcome during breakfast in the restaurant. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is situated by the river and just a short distance to the vibrant entertainment center of Asiatique. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok and would like to thank you for making my vacation a truly memorable one. I have nothing to complain abou the hotel . I like every thing the hotel offer.

breakfast is very good(a lot choices including soup for breakfast ).Very clean pool and the area.Water taxi is very convenient The only negative is that in the mornings sewage is being damped into the river between the Chatrium and other building (easy to see from the balcony).It's better to have breakfast inside

The Chatrium Riverside is a gem of a Bangkok hotel. Our recent stay couldn't have been better, unless we’d been able to extend our time there. Situated right on the Chao Phraya River, the hotel has impressively commanding views of Bangkok on the river. The Chatrium also has it's own river shuttle which allows easy connection to the BTS sky train and other river conveyances. But a taxi or tuk tuk from the nearest BTS won't break the bank if you stay out past boat shuttle hours, so it's easy to get around to the city sights you'll want to visit. We spent most of our time exploring the cultural treasures along or close to the river - such as the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Chinatown, ICONSIAM mall, and more. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Did I mention the views are amazing?! Breakfast (included with our rate) was tasty and plentiful. Service was quite good with front desk staff really shining bright in our experience. Shout out to Sunny who was incredibly helpful getting us checked in and settled in a room despite our bleary-eyed, jet-lagged condition. Our stay was brief, and we didn't have the opportunity to experience all the amenities on offer. But we're really glad we chose the Chatrium Riverside as our first stay in Bangkok

There seemed to be some poorly trained or extremely inexperienced restaurant staff on duty the evening we enjoyed a meal and the beautiful scenery from the hotel's patio. By contrast, service at breakfast was great.

Excellent hotel right on the river, and the view from our 14th floor suite was amazing. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The large swimming pool was great for swimming lengths although the water was a bit cold. Pool area was lovely with ample beds, towels, tables and chairs etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave.

If I was to be very picky the breakfast area was very busy and a little chaotic, and there was a queue to checkout which can be a bit frustrating when you have a taxi waiting for you.

Amazing pool! Great views from the rooms. Staff were very extremely helpful and kept asking if they could help. Boat taxi is very useful. Breakfast buffet is extensive and caters for anyone’s preferred taste and for those wanting to try more local cuisine, there is that too. Generally the Hotel was spotless.

A little bit cumbersome to get around but that could also have been because it was our first time in Bangkok. During our stay we ended up using a Tuk tuk (be warned they rip you off), taxi, BTS trains and the Blue Line boat taxi to Saphorn Pier to catch our Chatrium boat taxi. At night it’s noisey because of the music from boats, clubs or bars in the area (and that was on the 19th and 21st floor (river facing) with all windows closed.

The staff here are all very helpful and welcoming. The food was of very good quality throughout the day and reasonably priced for a city hotel. The hotel is very clean and has a great riverside location. The shuttle boat service is really fun to use and a great way to reach either the ICON shopping mall or the main boat/sky train terminal. Our room was very spacious and clean and had the most amazing views from the bedroom window (and terrace). We had use of the club room on level 34 and this was an excellent place to enjoy drinks throughout the day and early evening. We were looked after very well - Highly recommended

A busy hotel and sometimes a wait for your check in to be completed and for the lift in general but for us not really a negative - just a mention for people to be mindful of if you’re visiting this busy (but lovely) hotel.
