The room was amazing, with direct views over the lake and sun beds and chairs on the terrace. You can use a card to purchase a glass of wine from the machine in foyer before the bar opens. Short walk will take you to a small public pebble beach to swim in the lake and there is a wonderful bar/restaurant right next to this. We did not have the opportunity to try the food menu options at the hotel but the breakfast was really good with the option to have eggs or omelettes cooked fresh and brought to your table and some beautiful fresh strawberries each morning. Little bit of a walk in to town around 15-20 minutes but worth it for the views. This hotel is excellent and would not hesitate to recommend.

The only one thing and it really wasn’t an issue is that the blind in the bathroom is quite see through especially with the lights on, not many people walk past so not a big issue but something we were aware of, other than that it’s pretty perfect

This is the most beautiful property. It’s very unassuming in the photos but we were in awe every single day waking up with those views and walking up the driveway. The staff are so incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed - including checking with other hotels in nearby towns because rumours had it the busses and trains weren’t running on certain days (never trust public transport, always trust the hotel staff). The breakfast was absolutely amazing and I’ll dream about that mixed berry jam for years to come. Almost everything is grown on site and they’re very accommodating with allergies and options.

A beautiful place to stay. The room was very clean, tidy and spacious, it’s exactly what you see online. Also a great location, not right in the middle of town which means it’s nice and quiet, however this means a nice 10 minute walk (mostly uphill when coming back from the main town) but certainly no reason not to book this place, the walk is easy if you are well and able. The view in itself is reason to rebook, simply stunning! The breakfast each morning was fresh and homemade, and ingredients are sourced from their own farm right there on the property, and not to mention beautiful coffee. The staff were lovely and very accomodating, I just wish there was an iron in the room, however I never asked the staff if they had one on site, but certainly not a deal breaker. Cannot fault this place at all. When we return to Bellagio one day I’d love to come here again. Thank you for having my husband and I on our honeymoon.

Agriturismo Il Colle is a wonderful hotel with beautiful grounds and facilities overlooking Lake Como. The vistas from our room windows and the lawns and patios were excellent. The manager and staff were all top notch and helpful in all matters. The breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were very large and clean with very good beds. The bathroom was also very nice and also spacious. The grounds provide good parking if you are traveling by car. The very beautiful lakeside towns of Bellagio and San Giovanni are both about a 15 to 20 minute walk (all down hill). Note that the return walks are all uphill. At age 70, we walk quite a bit, and we found the walking reasonable, however those that are not in reasonably good condition should be aware that there are no shuttles or easy parking closer to Bellagio.

There is no restaurant facility on site, nor within easy walking distance if you are going to dinner after dark. So you need to plan accordingly. Typically the Bellagio paid parking spaces do open up a bit as 7PM approaches, but that is not guaranteed.

A beautiful small intimate hotel with a breathtaking view! Our highlight was the breakfast and the view during breakfast. The rooms are large with a large bathroom. We also booked the apartment for my children which is spacious but doesn't really have a window or view. There is parking which is convenient but it is about a 10-15 minute walk to town. We managed to find parking in the evenings so could drive back from town. You can also walk to a small beach nearby which was great for swimming during the extreme heat. Very easy to use public ferry to vista Varen and Mennagio etc which are beautiful town nearby.

Nothing. Some people may desire a location in the heart of the town to be close to the port and to be surrounded by stores and restaurants. However, I found the location was within a reasonable walking distance from the center of town and had the advantage of being peaceful and relaxing.

Gorgeous terrace views of Lake Como. Breakfast eggs and fruit from their own chickens and gardens. Generous sized rooms with a/c and abundant common areas to enjoy. Beautifully landscaped. Great serve-yourself wine kiosk.

We actually loved the location but put this comment in the „don’t like“ box to alert folks who can’t or don’t want to handle somewhat steep hills from Bellagio back to the property. Stay at a hotel in town or call Uber if that’s you. It’s a healthy climb coming back after shopping/dining. We enjoyed going into town on foot and burning some pasta calories on the way back.

The location was excellent—just a short and scenic walk into town. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, with fresh, delicious options and unbeatable views. The property was very clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. The panoramic views of Lake Como were absolutely sensational.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic stay , accommodations and staff! Views from the accommodation are unbeatable and breath taking. Included breakfast is best breakfast we had in all of our time in Europe. Farm fresh.. lots of options, fresh eggs, fruits, pastries and more. Wine bar and coffee available throughout stay. Incredibly spacious and clean rooms. Bit of a walk uphill back to accommodations from town (1km) but is perfect for after all the pasta and gelato! Rooms always clean and so comfortable. Very spacious! One of our best stays in Italy. Staff was always available to answer many questions and provide ideas and guidance. Would definitely stay here again, thank you Mary and staff!

the place/b&b was a destination in itself. It was so beautiful and you cannot get tired of the view of the lake from the room. breakfast spread was also so delicious. Mary has also been most helpful to us for our trip! Great place to stay and hope to come back!

the slope to go walk to Bellagio town square is quite a hike and not easy for those with mobility issues, such as seniors or kids.
