Great location. Room was generous size with bedroom, dining table and kitchenette. Lift available so not lugging baggage upstairs! The property has easy access to everything at Bellagio even the coin laundry. A tip when arriving, walk up using the roads if you have luggage instead of the cobble stones steps with many tourists. Take the road towards the point via San Giacomo church.

The villa is lovely with a beautiful garden, large and clean rooms. The location is excellent.

We did not like the attitude of the owner. He didn't pay attention to us. It was cold in the evening. Air conditioners cannot be turned on too early. We asked for a stove but she refused to help. The villa and the apartment are nice, but the host has no human attitude

A beautiful room in the heart of Bellagio with a lovely window view of the lake. Clean, bright, and stylishly decorated. Since parking in Bellagio is challenging, take advantage of the host’s assistance to reserve a nearby parking spot—it's both affordable and convenient.

The location is excellent, but reaching the doorstep requires driving through a narrow pedestrian street crowded with visitors—a stressful experience navigating among pedestrians!

We drove into Bellagio at night, from Bergamo. The roads are somewhat narrow, and not for the faint of heart. And driving to the hotel was an adventure, trying to avoid other cars and tourists. But we made it. You do NOT want a wide car for much of Italy. Thinking a Hummer H3 would be neat? Think again. We had a Ford Focus wagon, and I would not want anything bigger. There was temporary parking in front of this apartment building, and free parking nearby (again, very tight quarters) was convenient. Our room was spacious for the 3 of us, and the tiny elevator was very helpful in getting my wife's mom (age 90!) upstairs in her wheelchair.

Not the purview of this hotel, but I suggest you avoid the two little food shops directly across the road from La Limonera. They are overpriced. Instead head down the hill (towards the church) and look for the grocery shop about 75 meters away. A much better spot, and very friendly people work there.

We loved our stay! Location was great, restaurants and ice cream shop at your doorstep and ferry stations close walking distance. Loved the view of the courtyard especially at dusk with the garden lights. Daniela, our host was amazing. So accommodating and helpful. We had some problems with train cancellations and Daniela was most helpful with her travelling tips for public transport. Thank you so much Daniela. The apartment was very spacious and exceeded our expectations, better than the listed photos. The bed was very soft, a harder bed would have been better for my back after a day of long walking but it was nice to have a lounge area to rest and take a break during the day. If you have a lots of luggage, its a difficult climb on the cobblestone, uphill streets and stairs. I wish i knew in advance, to walk on the shared car road instead. It's a smoother surface, a little longer but quicker and much easier. If you are arriving in Bellagio at the waterfront, select "drive" option when you put the address in Google maps. Your suitcase wheels and arms will thank you. Walk along (it only takes about 10minutes) to the left along the waterfront, to the end at Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, follow the road right onto Via Roma. Make your way up left, right, left, right through Piazza della Chiesa and up straight to Residence la Limonere. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend Residence la Limonere, and stay there again if we returned. Another recommendation if you are exploring Como during your stay, you cannot buy a return ferry ride to Como from Bellagio. You must buy one way from Bellagio and then one way from Como when you arrive there but the lines in Como to buy tickets were sooo long. We gave up, went off to explore Como for the day and took the public bus back to Bellagio instead which was a wonderful experience with beautiful scenic views all along the lake.

The bed was too soft for me and the shower was small but it did not spoil our stay. We loved our stay.

Everything was meticulously organised, and the host even prepared some teas and coffee packages that you can have in the morning. All the amenities are well prepared, so you can enjoy the stay without worrying about bringing heavy stuff like a hair dryer. And obviously the view was amazing in the early morning from the balcony of the living room. Just a little side note for anyone that is interested in visiting Bellaggio and wants to stay for the night, come using the ferry! Absolutely recommend! Actually this residence is 6-7min away from the ferry station so very easy to reach just by walk. Recommend also to do a city walk during the day and have a drink by the lake at sunset time!

Solid no-frills spot. The security was good with a locked gate. Has common areas such as a courtyard. Front desk lady was nice when we checked in. It's essentially an Airbnb, that should be your expectations. Our room was very big, which was excellent. It had a kitchenette area with a table, decent bathroom, and good-sized bed. It did the job for us, we didn't want to stay in a high-end spot, and this did the trick.

We could hear the kids running/pounding on the floor above us. Separately, not a negative, but just to be aware of... when you get off the ferry with your heavy luggage, you should immediately take a left and follow the road (which cars can drive on, not pedestrian path only) that goes up a bit then curves to the right around to the residence. That is a much better path to take than hauling heavy bags up the narrow alleyways/paths that go up vertically in Bellagio. I did that, and I wish the staff would've given me a tip before I arrived and checked in. I'm a fit individual, and my heart was bursting from my chest carrying a 50 lb bag in each hand as I went up 100 steps. The road would've been nice.

Spacious, does not feel like a hotel but like a home with a private garden. Right in the middle of Bellagio, close to restaurants, very quiet at night

Seniors need to plan carefully how to take their luggage. Lots of stairs and steep streets. The staff did not communicate about options or help.

A little oasis in the heart of Bellagio! This place was absolutely wonderful – a true hidden gem right in the center of Bellagio. The rooms were beautiful, with a small kitchen and an amazing view of the lake. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and the service was excellent. We received all the necessary information in advance, which made arrival very easy and stress-free. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bellagio!

Location, location, location, though when you arrive if you drive you may freak out to be driving a super narrow street that appears only for pedestrians. Keep going, trust the process, the people will allow you to drive and you will park in the door at least to unload the luggage. Then your choice to park in one of the free spots in a nearby street or to use the off-site parking made available by the hotel for a reasonable price. We left the car in the free spot in the street and only moved the car when we needed it. The garden is very nice too!

It’s a little bit old, pillows were very thin, the sofa that turns into a bed is comfortable for a kid but not for a teenager or an adult. The shower was tiny. I think for the price they should be able to afford to modernize the property a bit.
