Hotel Belvedere -5* Wonderful hillside hotel at the top of Belaggio. We were in the annex in a lovely room with balcony overlooking the amazing countryside of Lake Como. Smallish room but well laid out and very comfortable. Service was impeccable. Two special “thank you’s”: 1. Felipe, the concierge, who gave us great advice on how to spend two days (one day exploring Como and the other day exploring Varenna & Villa Carlotta, then an amazing meal at Belle Ile and an 8:30pm ferry ride back to Belaggio.) 2. Diana, who serviced our room, and was so incredibly friendly and nice. Always making sure there was an extra sheet on the bed and always with a smile. Muchas gracias, Diana.

Breakfast included eggs, but pancakes and other specialty items were extra charge. They should have been included like in other highly rated hotels.

The shuttle taxi service from ferry to hotel was very handy specially when you have some luggage. The whole staff was very very courteous and welcoming. They gave a full tour of the hotel. Dinning venue was very nice with great views. I have to keep mentioning the staff because their behaviour was way too good and that makes you feel so much at home. The air conditioning was very effective. Showers were wonderful. Although we couldn't use the pool but we saw dozens of guests enjoying the swim. The bed and pillows were the best. Ironing facility on 2nd floor was handy. Sufficient linen and towels were provided all the time. Beautiful balcony. A great gesture from hotel was that they gave us two beautiful meal boxes to take as we were checking out very early in the morning. It was very touching. Lastly, the main highlight was probably one of the best views any Bellagio hotel can provide.

We can say that it was a slight uphill walk back to the hotel from lake side but then that's the deal. This was the reason for such a great view. And it's important to see those staired streets if you want to feel Bellagio. Therefore, I can't make it a negative. I'm over 60 and didn't have any problem.

Everything was perfect. We had booked two standard rooms that were anything but standard. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful decor, and our room was upgraded to a partial lake view upon arrival which means we had a beautiful balcony where we could sit and have a coffee overlooking Lake Como. Breakfast had everything anyone could want and everything was fresh and delicious. The pool area was perfect - cool or warm water pools, lots of options for shade or sun, pool area or lawn. Pool bar had great food and drink and super friendly, fun and attentive staff. Location was absolute perfection - 5 min walk into town but tucked up on a hill to be away from the busyness of the main town area. When I saw some of the other hotels I had considered that were right in the middle of town, I was grateful I had decided on Hotel Belvedere - close enough to walk easily to restaurants and shops and the ferry - but an oasis away from the crowds.

One small thing that the staff was being addressed in the next renovation - our toilet was very very odd. It was super high off the ground and very narrow - only like 6-8 inches wide. Uncomfortable in many ways...

A beautiful family owned and operated boutique hotel in an amazing location. Amazing views, clean rooms, and The staff are all incredible, you can tell it’s family run, the culture and hospitality is first class, we highly recommend this beautiful property. The breakfast is incredible and the facilities are amazing, including a very good fitness centre, sauna, spa and wellness centre. The location is perfect, close to all the shops and restaurants but far enough away from the crowds.

We were a group of over 20 family and friends in Bellagio for a memorial service. The hotel went above and beyond, even assisting me in obtaining flowers for the event. The manager, in particular, was exemplary in every way and he checked in with us at various times during our stay to ensure things were going well. Another thing worth noting was the hotel breakfast, which was included. It was simply outstanding! Also, the bar service was quite nice and the lobby area was comfortable for smaller groups of us to congregate. In sum, this hotel was a real gem!

The hotel shuttle to the ferry landings is only available for arrival and departure, which can be an issue for disabled guests. The manager was thankfully very accommodating of the few people in our party in need of transportation assistance each day of our stay. But we had to reach out to him personally to request it as the front desk staff insisted the shuttle was only for arrival and departure.

Staff was very nice and extremely attentive. Room was fantastic. Much larger than I was expecting. View was amazing. Bathroom was spacious with an awesome shower. Breakfast was awesome. I had to abstain several mornings because I consistently ate too much. Restaurant staff was great. The pool and spa were really nice. The gym was just ok, but I'm a bit of a gym snob. It was very clean, had some small DB's, a smith machine and some cardio equipment. Compared to other hotels, it was on par. Definitely NOT complaining. Prices/costs/fees were easily found and there was no nickle and diming like in many other hotels. 5-minute walk to restaurants and shops and whatnot.

I actually don't have any compaints.

Breakfast was incredible and delicious, there were so many food options! We splurged on a suite and have no regrets as the view was amazing! The staff greeted us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and hand written note for our honeymoon. Our suite was cleaned twice a day, with plenty of fresh towels. 2 water bottles were also provided per day which was very nice. The spa was amazing - it included a salt room, ice room, sauna, steam room, multiple showers at various temps and water pressures.

The pool and jacuzzi were fairly cold for being heated so we weren’t able to enjoy as much as we would have liked.

I had room 401 which has a partial lake view. The view was beautiful. The room was small but beautiful and well decorated. It was quiet and we were able to sleep. The room also had two balconies. It was lovely. The breakfast was also ample, t

The bathroom was beautiful but not practical. The decor was very modern so the toilet and bidet were also modern and not traditionally designed. But, we did get used to the the height and narrow size of the toilet. I also have a suggestion for the tub. They need to add hand grips so that people don't slip. The tub is high and deep and you have to be very intentional when getting out of the tub.

The location was great, about the top of the famous stairs of Bellagio, the main town was a 5 minute walk away. We had a suite with a Balcony and the view was amazing.

The hotel is expensive. And expensive is Okay, but you have to get your money's worth the bed was hard, the restaurant was SUPER expensive and not worth it. And the room was really small for being a suite. I can only imagine the size of the smaller rooms. The TV was useless, no smart TV's. Room service stoped early like 9pm. It just was not what you would expect for a luxury hotel, I would describe it as a 3.5 star hotel at 5 star prices. So my Main complaint is VALUE.

The whole experience was impressive. The staff was always helpful, very polite and everyone spoke english. Our room was amazing with a very comfortable bed, tall ceilings and a private patio with lake views. Great bathroom with lovely bath products and deep bathtub. Breakfast in the restaurant (on site) was delicious, a million options for any diet. The pool was nice and cool (temperature) and very clean.

It was pretty expensive but I think based on other hotels in Italy, you get what you pay for. The price would not stop me from going back for another visit. The area is gorgeous, but not a lot happening there within walking distance. The shops that you can walk to are fairly touristy. I would recommend having a car and taking some day trips out of the immediate area.
