Bellagio is beautiful, a very popular and therefore busy place on Lake Como. The apartment has fantastic views of the lake. It is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. It is a spacious apartment with all the necessary amenities, a lovely terrace and garden to enjoy. The centre is a short walk (10 -15 mins) down hill (using the shortcut which has cobbles and steps). Bellagio has good ferry links to other parts on the lake.

You get to Bellagio either by ferry or bus from Como, or your own transport. There are no taxis in Bellagio willing to accommodate short journeys. If travelling with luggage you will need a car to get to and from the apartment to the centre, where you can catch the ferry or bus to another destination. Marco kindly met us from the centre when we arrived, but was unavailable on our day of departure. My comments on access with luggage to and from the apartment is not a fault of the apartment just something to bear in mind.

We loved our holiday in Bellagio. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and in an excellent location. Very comfortable bed. The apartment is very convenient for the town. Marco was very pleasant and helpful. He speaks English very well, which did make things easier for us.

Only a small comment rather than a bad point. It would be good to have a couple of household cleaners, cloths etc so I could have cleaned up better myself. Maybe an extra tea towel or two.

Marco and his brother were fantastic- he picked us up at the bottom of the hill by the bus stop and drove us up to the house (it is very hilly) for both check in and check out, and the view from the bedroom was beautiful - and the shared balcony view was amazing. The bed was comfy. The location was alright- you need to be able to walk uphill for about 15 minutes but if you are fit, it isn't bad.

Could possibly do with a some scissors in the kitchen but other than that, it was perfectly fine as we ate out every meal.

Beautiful grounds and location. Beautiful walk into town (unless it rains hard then it's a bit scary of a walk on cobblestone on isolated steep walkway)

This isn't really a negative. The place is pretty basic, but has everything you need for a short stay and is a great value in a great location with a beautiful view for Bellagio. I imagine the view was even better in one of the upstairs apartments (I was on ground floor). I did wish there were screens so I could open the windows for fresh air without worry of mosquitos / bugs.

The apartment was a good size with a full kitchen and even a washing machine in the bathroom. Marco was very helpful and even picked us up from the bus stop and took us to the accommodation when we arrived. We had a beautiful view of the lake from the apartment. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the main part of town. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

There was no aircon - but there was a fan to help keep us cool. Of an evening we could hear people moving around upstairs which didnt bother us too much. It was a bit of an uphill walk from the main part of town - but nothing out of the ordinary for Italy.

The apartment had everything we needed, it was simple but clean and the view was absolutely incredible. Andrea and Marco were quick to reply to messages both before and during our stay. The service was excellent, we needed help with a shutter and Andrea fixed it immediately. He also offered us to pick us up from the ferry terminal and dropped us off in town when we checked out even though this was a very last minute request from us!

Nothing to dislike however there is a lot of stairs to climb up to get to the property so for anyone with weaker knees it might not be ideal!

The location of this property is outstanding, it really is only 10 minutes into the centre of Bellagio (maybe 15 minutes on the way back because of the stairs), and a really lovely walk through cobbled streets with beautiful views. We stayed in the ground floor apartment which was extremely spacious, perfect for our dog, it was also perfectly clean, the bathroom was perfect with a very powerful shower and hot water consistently, there was a hairdryer which was really helpful, the bed was comfortable and the bedroom had both a fan and extra blankets and pillows to make it even more comfortable if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked, we cooked dinner there one evening and found everything we needed to do so. The apartment has a beautiful garden that wraps all the way around the property, not only was this brilliant for our puppy, but it also had plenty of outside seating for all the guests, as well as spacious but also neat parking areas. There is access to a washing machine, unfortunately during our stay the washing machine broke, we had been travelling for a while so it was really important for us to be able to wash our clothes during this stay so while they were fixing it the hosts kindly washed our clothes in their house and hung it out to dry for us while we were exploring during the day! So kind and so helpful we were so appreciative! The hosts are unbelievably helpful, very communicative and responsive, they showed us around and explained how to get around. Really excellent service and a fantastic stay we couldn’t have asked for more!

They could use a doormat and a washing up sponge but that is all we could think of- otherwise brilliant!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Way bigger than the photos and with mountain views. They also had washing machine available on the site, which was helpful as we were traveling from other place. Marco was very sweet and helpful! He was there to greet us and give the tour. The location was close to the center and a 15 min walk. Wear comfy shoes as the path is made of cobblestone and in the night, it's pretty dark. Bellagio is absolutely beautiful and you can take the ferry to other towns. It's meant for a more quiet and laid back getaway so it's a nice escape from city life.

The property was lovely and spacious and had all the amenities you may need. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts Marco and his brother Andres were so helpful and accommodating. They kindly gave us lifts from the town on arrival and to the ferry port upon check out. However, we did go during quiet season so understandably this may not be available all the time. Andres gave us lots of recommendations and guidance to exploring Lake Como allowing us to navigate the area easier. There was a small issue with the shower which the host fixed really quickly so it didn’t affect our stay at all. The location of the property is amazing, lovely views from our window of the town and more views around the property which were beautiful during sunset/sunrise time. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was on top of a beautiful mountain with great views. The washer worked great and they provided a drying rack which was nice! Extremely beautiful home off the beaten path.

The hike to the accommodation from the ferry was only 0.5 miles but very steep with many hills and maybe 300 stairs or so to climb to get there. Sneakers are a must! Our stay was in July and it was very hot without air conditioning, but that was expected. The fan is not efficient.
