Location, staff were nice

Amazing location, just be the lake. Visible during trips on Como passing by:) view from window! Antics in the room The staff helped with the baby stroller each time on the stairs, especially the dark skinned man is extremely friendly. Amazingly affordable as for the location. Everything is old but for us it’s a +.

Strange way of checking in in the restaurant and access from there. No lift The floor needs urgent restoration - there are places in the room where it’s sharp and dangerous. There should be a mention air conditioning is mobile, with a pipe and the window must be open all the time - for families with small kids who climb it’s a crucial information. There is only a rain forest type of shower - hard to wash a baby without a handle.

hotel was lovely & clean with a stunning view

On arrival we were just handed our room key and wasn’t informed of anything about the hotel ie how to get in at night, that breakfast was available if we wanted it. Also we had a meal at the hotel restaurant which was very expensive for what we ordered and was charged 14€ for bread rolls that they automatically put on the table.

I liked the view of the lake and the balcony. The restaurant was excellent. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and accomodating.

There was no hairdryer.had to get luggage up several flights of stairs. They did get someone to carry bags up but we had to get them down. No elevator. The restaurant is one floor below the room and had music most nights. Noise from restaurant and music usually until midnight. We were able to cope, but not the best.

The location of this hotel is perfect for the lake. Right opposite the ferry terminal. The restaurant is lovely with seating across the road next to the lake and at the hotel, inside and out. Breakfast is served at the hotel and has a good selection of hot and cold foods. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. We had parking in the Migros underground carpark, 10 minutes walk away, arranged through the hotel at a cost of 20Euros a night. Well worth the money as parking is at a premium. The road outside is mainly pedestrian, although it used all day and night by cars and bicycles, but isn’t busy and relatively quiet. You can stop outside the hotel to drop off your luggage. You need to come in via a road through the village, there is a barrier in the road that you need to press a button to ask for admittance. A public beach is about 15 minutes walk away. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much and would stay again.

It was extremely hot the first few days we were there (August) and the rooms don't have air con. However, the hotel suppled a large fan in the room and it did help a little. The weather changed after a storm and we were able to leave the fan off, so not a deal breaker. The room, bathroom and shower (nowhere to put your bits and bobs) were very small, but to be fair it was adequate.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The room was beautiful with balcony view of the lake, pristine and very spacious. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodated our every need. The location was perfectly located within walking distance to ferry, shopping, restaurants and bars. The lake view restaurant on property was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was dated and small, but all functional expectations were met and the view/location was exactly what you'd hope for in this location. Great little terrace with two chairs to sit out and have a drink overlooking the lake and mountains. It was in the middle of the most packed area of Bellagio (great for access to shops, restaurants and activities), but was a great little escape from the crowds when you just wanted to stop and cool off for an afternoon drink break.

The room was a bit dated and small (but again, covered all the basic expectations needs) and there was no elevator/lift, so you had to get bags up several flights of stairs. However, the staff was quick to assist with the bags when we checked in, so it wasn't that bad.

Location was superb. However breakfast was not available but there were several restaurants within a few meters of the Albergo. No elevator. It was a long walk up to the 4th floor. People were great as was the menu at the restaurants.

Struggled with the stairs, but on the bright side, walking and stairs were very good for my overall health.

Room was basic but clean. Outlets were handy and next to mirrors in the main bedroom. Restaurant was excellent- we ate there more than once, both inside and outside. Huge wine selection.

Clothes, rod iron, etc were exposed- a simple cupboard would have been nicer. Awkward reception area, in the rear of the restaurant. There was another entrance, explained to us after registration and much handier

I liked the price for the location and commodities they had. Whoever is in charge of cleaning needs a raise they were wonderful. Staff on second floor were so kind and courteous and respectful!

I believe breakfeast should be provided for guests when staying at hotels but that is rare nowadays. The noise downstairs was too loud at night and no one offered to help take my suitcases upstairs when I got there.
