This hotel offers everything what you would like to have to be looked after. We are very experienced travellers and used to stop in different hotels and being in Hotel Du Lac & SPA we felt like we stopped in a 5 stars hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations. The location was very good and the views the hotel offers were gorgeous. Our room was always super clean. The breakfast had excellent variety and the staff was caring and helpful. I would like particularly to thank Ganga for looking after me, her attention to my wishes. All receptionists were extremely helpful as well and very friendly but Sara was just amazing. She helped us with everything we needed. Huge THANKS to all of you making our holiday SUPER special!!!

This hotel and restaurant were truly exceptional. We have stayed in many beautiful hotels and dined in fine restaurants around the world, but this experience is above and beyond all expectations. The owners and staff were clearly well seasoned and anticipated our every need, but went above this in the manner of care and concern shown to us and our friends. I booked this hotel for my wife and I based on reviews as well as the recommendations of personal contacts. I then advised our group of ten to book it as well. The rooms were wonderful, the location was absolutely perfect, the amenities left nothing to ask for. In particular- we all dined together in the restaurant and it was indeed a gourmet’s feast. The flavors, the presentation, the ambiance and the service exceeded most of the Michelin starred restaurants we’ve enjoyed. Look no further than the Hotel Du Lac when booking for a stay in Bellagio. This hotel is the primo property in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Needless to say we will return!

There is nothing to not like here.

Wonderful stay at the Hotel du Lac in Bellagio. The location in the center of the village and right in front of the pier (so convenient!) simple cannot be beat. We had a Suite and it was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. We even had a view on the lake from our balcony on the side of the building, which we didn't expect. The room was immaculate, bed was comfy and the bed linen great quality. Friendly and professional staff at the reception and in the restaurant upstairs, good breakfast with wonderful views on the lake (shame there was no prosecco though). We are French originally and were amazed by the quality and originality of the food served in the restaurant on the first floor (second floor for US clients). We had dinner there twice over 4 days and enjoyed the culinary experience both times. The Spa must have been recently renovated and was very luxurious. The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations.

We are happy to leave a tip in restaurants when the service is good but we don't appreciate being asked for it in Italy when service is always included. No other restaurant did that. We were also asked to leave a tip during check-out, first time ever and we travel a lot! We found that inappropriate. We tip the person providing the service directly. The food in the cafe downstairs wasn't good and the staff there was unpleasant.

Perfectly located hotel right in the middle of the promenade. Great staff, always welcomed by a smiling face at the reception. Similar to the breakfast team, very helpful and always available. It’s evident the hotel is the pride and joy of the family that owns and operates this venue. There is also an onsite spa offering a dry and wet sauna as well as a jacuzzi. Hotel guest can use daily for an hour, this was a great addition as it rained 3 out of our 5 days stay. The only thing I must mention is the restaurant onsite, including room service and bar drinks at the top end of pricing however the menu isn’t at the top end of variety. The gym is also at a neighbouring hotel.

Nothing worth mentioning.

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful family run hotel. They made us feel so welcome and knew us by name from the very first day. They organised car transfers to Milan and a memorable boat rip on the lake.They guided us to restaurants and we ate in both the hotel terrace and sister tapas resto. The live entertainment was incredible and there was a wonderful mix of locals and tourist who came to have an evening drink at the hotel bar.

A wonderful family-run hotel in an ideal location, right opposite the ferry station. We had a truly memorable stay here. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Daniele, one of the owners, who was exceptional in every way. He not only made our check-in seamless but also went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He kindly reserved us a table at their restaurant, which turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip. The food was outstanding – without doubt the best we had in Bellagio – and meeting the chef made it even more special. The combination of warm hospitality, comfortable rooms, and exceptional dining made this hotel a real gem. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bellagio and look forward to returning ourselves.

Amazing hotel, right on the lake. Stunning views, everything central. Comfortable beds, room spacious and had everything needed. The most beautiful roof top terrace and breakfast room with views to take your breath away. Such a nice start and end to our day. The staff were also amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were so helpful planning our route to the airport on the bus, ferry etc. we are in the restaurant and whilst a small menu (I’m pescatarian and fussy) the food was Devine!! As were the cocktails! We wish we had stayed longer and most definitely will be back. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike. All amazing!

Hotel Du Lac is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Bellagio. The staff were so kind and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location was ideal, right in front of the ferry that can take you to many of the towns on Lake Como. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with an amazing view of the lake. We had a drink at the rooftop bar which was enjoyable. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the food was good. We had a car and parking was convenient, just arrive and depart early or later in the afternoon when the crowds start to thin out because you do have to drive through town to drop off luggage and check in and that was a little chaotic at noon when we arrived. Bellagio was crowded from about 10-5, but before and after that it was very pleasant. All in all it was a great and memorable stay.

The location was perfect.we didn’t book a room with a view. The staff was charming, very courteous and helpful.

I didn’t like the car parking situation. If I may suggest that valet service is provided by the hotel to take the car to the specified parking location which is located within a pedestrian only street and difficult to find and with very tight spaces. The gentleman at the reception was kind enough to accompany me and park the car for me after I failed to find the place on my own.also, the possibility of using a ferry to reach Bellagio should be mentioned. We were totally confused when we got to Menaggio to be told that we should take a ferry. For first timers in the lake Como area that fact should be mentioned.

All of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. This is what separates good hotels from great hotels. The restaurant and fare offered was also of a quality not associated with most hotels. We enjoyed the meals so much, we dined there four nights out of five, having discovered it on our second day. The hotel also offers a roof top terrace/bar, where you can relax and take in the glorious views of Lake Como.
