Perfect location for enjoying Bellagio! We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff were all super friendly & helpful. Make sure to reserve a spot at the Hotel Du Lac roof terrace to watch the sunset. Stunning. The owners & staff are lovely hosts! A tip for anyone arriving from or leaving to Milan is to catch the train to / from Varenna, & then a short ferry to Bellagio! The bus from Como was so busy I would not recommend it!

This Hotel was a delight in every aspect. The interior design was exceptional.The overall effect was of calm colour and beautiful line. Aqua shades of the sea. Yes, it is not as huge as the sister hotel next door but you have all the use of the Hotel Du Lac but the charm of an exceptionally run family hotel which is a huge plus. The location is perfect with views of the lake. Yes you have to climb a few steps but most of Bellagio is steps as it is on a hillside! The staff were a delight. I have never stayed in a Hotel with a happier atmosphere . This speaks volumes about the management and how the staff are looked after. Carolina and Marina at the desk were beyond helpful.The breakfast served in either an air conditioned room or outside on a leaf shaded terrace could not have been more beautiful all the produce fresh even the sliced ham. They also have these mouthwatering little cakes just 3 bites of heaven. I have to mention Kamira of the beaming smile like all the staff helpful cheerful and intent on making your holiday as easy as possible. The even took our bags down the steps A great find.

The hotel concierge was extremely helpful in navigating Lake Como. The hotel is in a great location if you don’t mind walking some stairs, but since you are staying in Bellagio, walking stairs is inevitable. The staff were extremely polite and attentive at breakfast. The only thing I would add to the room would be a full length mirror, otherwise it was a very clean and organized layout with a large, comfortable bed. I’m 6’3”, and it was more than adequate as sometimes in Europe the “king/queen bed” option is just two double beds put together.

when you get off the ferry, it’s like a 2 min walk up some stairs and you’re there! such a great location, in the middle of everything! staff were lovely at reception and so was the staff at the breakfast (which was included) were super friendly and welcoming. the croissants and the jam were so good and so were the mini muffins! booked a room with a balcony and view of the lake and that did not disappoint! the view was stunning with seats and a table so we could sit out on the balcony. the room is very modern, compared to the photos on here, the sheets are white, room was good size with tv and cupboard with a mirror in! we only stayed for 2 nights and our room got made up the next morning, which sometimes doesn’t happen everywhere so was pleased with that. wish we could’ve stayed longer and if we ever come back to bellagio, we will definitely be staying here! the only issue was an alarm went off at like 2am and nobody knew if it was a fire alarm or what but lady at reception was apologetic and i understand not their fault at all! stay here if you can!

Overall was a pleasant stay bed was comfortable Room was clean and tidy with AC Liked the outdoor area to have breakfast when the weather was good Lady that was managing the breakfast on the property was always smiling and pleasant to interact with

You could hear lots of noise in the morning from cleaning staff or movement around the rooms A few more options at breakfast would have been nice but I know this is standard Italian style breakfast Stairs to access the hotel you are warned pre booking just something to consider if you have lots of baggage thankfully I only had small items with me

The location of the hotel was great, right in the heart of Bellagio with all the shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast buffet was plentiful, the fact that you could boil your own eggs was something we had not seen before and that we really appreciated. Sitting outside on the terrace for breakfast was lovely. Coffee was made to order and was very good.

Like many others have said there are lot's of stairs to go up to get to the hotel, but that is unavoidable as the old town is just laid out like that. We had not reserved a room with lake view so that was not something we expected, however we were a bit disappointed to have no view at all. Our room was on a lower floor (second floor from memory) and therefore our window just looked out at the wall of the opposite building. If you want to have any view at all, you should request a room on the higher floors. We also felt that the room and bathroom were a little cramped, there was not a lot of space to open your suitcase etc.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is very close to the fast service ferry from Como, although there are a few stairs to climb. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We had a lake view room and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The continental breakfast had some good optionsto start the day, including coffee to order. The staff at reception and breakfast were all very welcoming. I would stay here again.

Hotel was situated quite conveniently to the 2 ferry offices we required. Front desk personnel helped us maximize our stay by recommending 3:30 tour of V. Serbelloni immediately after checking in. (subsequently, V. Melzi in the hour just before closing). Room was pleasant and quiet. Breakfast, for 2 nights stay, had good selections and breakfast room staff was super efficient. There is a coin laundry very close (6€ wash/4€dry), perfect on drizzly evening to get THAT task done.

Steps … but we were aware that these would challenge our 70-year old selves when I reserved our stay. That a 3rd night wasn’t available 😉

The hotel is perfectly located in probably the best location. Ferry station is literally less than 5 minutes walking. Staff and rooms were wonderful; very clean and beds were very comfortable, a little on the small side, but since we literally just slept there it was not an issue. And the VIEWS!!!! The only downside are the cobble steps to reach the hotel, but then again, it is Italy and everything is worth it and there is no way around them. Would most definitely stay in this hotel again. Hotel offers luggage storage for no fee. And location was everything!!!!!!!

Lake view from room 302 was stunning with two windows with balcony. Decently sized rooms, comfortable beds and very clean toilet.

Stairs leading up from the ferry station, which is rather near, but again the stairs to actual reception will be tough for guests carrying luggages. Request for help in advance
