Perfect location for enjoying Bellagio! We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff were all super friendly & helpful. Make sure to reserve a spot at the Hotel Du Lac roof terrace to watch the sunset. Stunning. The owners & staff are lovely hosts! A tip for anyone arriving from or leaving to Milan is to catch the train to / from Varenna, & then a short ferry to Bellagio! The bus from Como was so busy I would not recommend it!

This Hotel was a delight in every aspect. The interior design was exceptional.The overall effect was of calm colour and beautiful line. Aqua shades of the sea. Yes, it is not as huge as the sister hotel next door but you have all the use of the Hotel Du Lac but the charm of an exceptionally run family hotel which is a huge plus. The location is perfect with views of the lake. Yes you have to climb a few steps but most of Bellagio is steps as it is on a hillside! The staff were a delight. I have never stayed in a Hotel with a happier atmosphere . This speaks volumes about the management and how the staff are looked after. Carolina and Marina at the desk were beyond helpful.The breakfast served in either an air conditioned room or outside on a leaf shaded terrace could not have been more beautiful all the produce fresh even the sliced ham. They also have these mouthwatering little cakes just 3 bites of heaven. I have to mention Kamira of the beaming smile like all the staff helpful cheerful and intent on making your holiday as easy as possible. The even took our bags down the steps A great find.

The hotel concierge was extremely helpful in navigating Lake Como. The hotel is in a great location if you don’t mind walking some stairs, but since you are staying in Bellagio, walking stairs is inevitable. The staff were extremely polite and attentive at breakfast. The only thing I would add to the room would be a full length mirror, otherwise it was a very clean and organized layout with a large, comfortable bed. I’m 6’3”, and it was more than adequate as sometimes in Europe the “king/queen bed” option is just two double beds put together.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is very close to the fast service ferry from Como, although there are a few stairs to climb. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We had a lake view room and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The continental breakfast had some good optionsto start the day, including coffee to order. The staff at reception and breakfast were all very welcoming. I would stay here again.

Hotel was situated quite conveniently to the 2 ferry offices we required. Front desk personnel helped us maximize our stay by recommending 3:30 tour of V. Serbelloni immediately after checking in. (subsequently, V. Melzi in the hour just before closing). Room was pleasant and quiet. Breakfast, for 2 nights stay, had good selections and breakfast room staff was super efficient. There is a coin laundry very close (6€ wash/4€dry), perfect on drizzly evening to get THAT task done.

Steps … but we were aware that these would challenge our 70-year old selves when I reserved our stay. That a 3rd night wasn’t available 😉

Lake view from room 302 was stunning with two windows with balcony. Decently sized rooms, comfortable beds and very clean toilet.

Stairs leading up from the ferry station, which is rather near, but again the stairs to actual reception will be tough for guests carrying luggages. Request for help in advance

can't leave my phone charging in the room since room key card is needed for electricity very inflexible cancellation policies fortunately I was able to make it to the area, but my flight was originally cancelled which prompted me to contact the facility for possible refund There was zero refund chance, 200+$ would have been easily lost with no chance to rebook or partial refunds. I will be more careful to find more flexible accommodations in the future.

The location ! Bellagio is stunning and this hotel is between 2 and 10 minutes walk from everything . Also we were surprised as we booked a “room with partial view of the lake” so we were expecting to have just a glimpse of it at the side of the window, but it was actually facing right at the lake ! The breakfast was tasty and the staff kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again

Would be great to have complimentary water in the rooms. Other than that, everything was perfect

Location was perfect for our 2 day stay in Bellagio. Right in the heart of the town so it was very easy to walk around and explore. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

There are wide stone steps that you must go up in order to get to the hotel entrance. This is clearly disclosed when we booked but the reality is that carrying luggage after a long day of travel can be very difficult. Just a part of the adventure!

I booked two rooms at Hotel Bellagio, one for my husband and I and one for my brother and his fiancée. The hotel put us in rooms next door to each other. The hotel is in a fabulous location, right on the lake front and opposite the boat/ferry terminal. The hotel has steps leading up to it but they are manageable if you’re fit and able. The hotel staff were very friendly, they were professional, polite, knowledgeable and eager to please. Our room was lovely, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a good size and the water was fast flowing and hot. The breakfast was superb! The best we’ve had in a hotel in a long time. The croissants were flaky which is a must for us!! My brother and his fiancée married whilst we were in Bellagio and the hotel manager placed a bottle of sparkling wine in their room, which was a lovely touch.
