The charm of being a family-owned hotel, it was such a cozy experience for me as a solo traveller. The hotel had very friendly staff, and every morning the breakfast was wonderful. The location is really good, a few minutes away from the ferry terminal in Bellagio, you get a great experience of staying in central Bellagio. I loved my stay here. Thankful to the staff and everyone who greeted me each day with a smile :) When they came to know that I was leaving early the next day, they arranged an early checkout breakfast for me. Much appreciated! p.s. the restaurant behind this hotel is also amazing, their ravioli was heavenly!

It's a lovely hotel in the most perfect part of Bellagio. The people at the reception were all very kind and helpful. The information provided beforehand about arrival and map for the car was most useful. The hotel building , the entrance and the inner garden already speak for itselves how beautiful oasis this place is. I loved the summer holiday typical Italian noise in the evenings one can hear over the balcony. The room has the most stylish furniture, appropriate for the whole atmosphere. The breakfast was in the lovely winter garden building, with sufficient variety of food and the delicious Italian coffee (not the awful automatic powder based coffee machines like in many places).

Parking is a bit difficult, you need to leave the car in the outskirts, so you have to take into account that you will not have your car at hands. It is possible however to do temporary parking closeby at luggage on/off loading. More of a suggestion than complaint, with a bit of investment the quality of the bathroom could be improved. The rest of the building or the room is so marvellous that it may be worth it.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. There are a lot of steps to the Hotel from the ferry and the owner came down and took my suitcase for me so I appreciate it very much. They are very nice and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is located in the heart of Bellagio. Great location. And it has a lovely large courtyard area to escape to when it’s busy outside the walls at the Hotel. The room also had a little balcony. The room is the size I expected and so was the bathroom, like most European hotels of this price range. It was extremely clean which is always a big plus when you’re travelling. Breakfast was okay, decent variety.

To be honest, the shower was a little bit small and the cooked breakfast was average however this is not the main reason for staying there. Everything else was very good and definitely these things are not deal breakers.

I had such a nice time here, particularly because there were so many more people in Bellagio than I'd anticipated. The hotel and my room, specifically, felt like I had a wonderful refuge to return to when I wanted peace and quiet away from the crowds. The staff were really great, very attentive and helpful with recommendations. You could tell that it was family-run as people seemed to really care about guests. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was always on hand to replenish things, prepare coffee drinks to order, etc. (They even had a honeycomb - fresh honey!) One thing I really liked in my third-floor room was the skylight. Sometimes I have difficulty sleeping, and having a skylight to be able to gaze at the stars in the middle of the night was a treat for me. (There is a remote control so you can open the skylight door all the way, or close it completely...you're in control!)

It took a while for the hot water to heat up in the shower, but something like that would never prevent me from returning to this hotel. I loved it! (Also, note that they are open from April - October, I believe, so you'll have to find somewhere else to stay during the other months.)

Hotel Centrale, Bellagio is a perfect gem of a hotel. It is located in the center of Bellagio, and although a historic building it has been modernized and is exceptionally well maintained. The guest bedroom and bathrooms are well decorated and the whole property is clean and attractive. The garden is a quiet and cool place to relax and the breakfast buffet very generous and tasty. The family and staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. They made our stay so nice, we extended it.

There is nothing to dislike about Hotel Centrale Bellagio.

Everything about this B&B was perfect. We really could not fault a single thing. Situated down one of the many beautiful alleys in the centre of Bellagio, with such peaceful surroundings. The staff were super friendly and really helpful with all our needs. There were a lot of options provided at breakfast which was all really tasty. Finally, the location is absolutely perfect, just a few steps away from the main Ferry port and plenty of options for food just steps away from the property. We would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone and would not hesitate to book again.

The only thing we didn’t like was the day we had to leave :(

I was lucky to have a room on the second floor with a balcone and a nice view on the garden and mountains. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city. Yes, you have to climb the steps but an old city is an up and down steps in general))). Room and a hotel are basic by the interior but have an authentic armchairs, sofas and looks very charming. Breakfast was absolutelly enough for me. Coffee and a tea set in the room is provided daily. Near the entrance to the hotel area you can find a Barchetta cafe, very recommend! Staff in the hotel is very friendly and ready to help. Thanks!

Nothing crucial

Great Central location. The area can be awkward if not good walking up steep inclines or lots of steps as the whole area is built on an upward slope from the lake.

We booked 1 double and 1 twin room. The twin room had the beds pushed together EXACTLY the same as the double room with no real room to separate them without moving furniture. When we asked the reception staff they said this was fine for a twin room and that we were welcome to move the beds ourselves. I said we would much prefer if the staff did this while we were out but they didn't bother. This was the only disappointment with the hotel.

A beautiful old building in a perfect location. The courtyard is a lovely place to relax. The staff was friendly, efficient, and personally accommodating. I loved the grace of the place. Breakfast is a pleasant buffet with good coffee served at the table.

The room was small and a little worn, with a fairly hard mattress and pillows. Nevertheless, all other plus factors and the rates in an overpriced town can outweigh this if you’re a good sleeper.

The location was just right, with a short 5 minutes to the ferry. The hotel is old world, not unexpected for the town however the real positive was the garden entry, open garden type view from our room and a pleasant breakfast room. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly, with a full range to choose from to start the day. The room was adequate, a little dated but clean and tidy. Strange tea making facility on a large round table, would have preferred more space for luggage access in place of the table. Very light and airy room with two sets of doors made the room feel larger, providing a nice view of the surrounding building and the lake. Key card room access in a smaller tye hotel was a surprise and certainly preferred, rather than dropping a key at reception each time we left the room.

The hotel is old and we would expect significant wear and tear, however the plumbing noise from adjoining rooms was very annoying, especially early morning and late at night. Our bathroom basin was very slow to drain away and after three days hardly drained at all.
