Perfect location for a short stay, ideally located in the middle of Como, just minutes walk from the lake. Continental breakfast in a beautiful courtyard in the morning but a bistro during the day if needed. We were never there during the day. So many lovely shops, bars, restaurants all around but so quiet at night, never any disturbance. Vincenzo couldn't be more helpful too. I actually thought it was a hotel I had booked but was pleasantly surprised by this quaint but modern boutique type accommodation. Parking was a few mins walk away but that suited us as didn't use the car while there.

Honestly, for a short stay, there was nothing I didn't like.

Vincenzo is a very good host, always in a good mood and helping you with recommendations or other info you may need. The location of the guesthouse is top, right in the old center and decorated nicely. The cleaning was done every day. The breakfast is savoury and fresh.

Minor things, really, but might help other travellers to know what to expect. The parking is a bit tricky if you have a big car, so maybe good to check first. The room we had was dark with little possibility to let the fresh air in.

Beautiful! Set in the heart of Como, yet in a secluded courtyard far from the noise and crowds, this wonderful place is far more than 'just another B&B' - it really was exceptional. The rooms are bright and airy, tastefully decorated and have comfortable beds. The breakfast was great, croissants, jam, fresh juice, yoghurt and coffee - all that you need - other items were available for an extra fee if you wanted them but what we were given was more than ample. The owner, Vincenzo, was fabulous in terms of communication and was a super chap who had a lovely personality. All I can say is don't bother looking around for other places because you will be hard pushed to beat Carducci ;-)

On arrival, after train delays, we arrived at 1.08pm, eight minutes after the commencement of the advertised check in time which is between 1.00 and 3.00pm Vincenzo was a bit frosty but soon warmed up and gave us a friendly Italian welcome, giving us lots of great advice on exploring Como. Our room was stylish and comfortable but with it's close proximity to adjoining rooms, we heard every move and conversation that our noisy neighbours made. We were disappointed when on day two when the room was serviced, the two coffee pods were not replaced and with no jug provided, we could not even make a cup of tea. Coffee cups were not washed up either. . Sara was beautiful, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very basic.

No electric jug in room and the noise aspect

This is a small (three room) Bed and Breakfast well located in old town Como. It is a few blocks to the cathedral and about a 15-20 minute walk from S.Giovanni rail station. Vincenzo greeted us and brought us right up to our room. It was on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a selection of fresh baked rolls, cornetti, and cake with yogurt and fresh fruit along with good cappuccino or hot chocolate. The area was very quiet at night as far as street and city sounds go, but you definitely hear other guests moving around the adjacent rooms. If you are a sensitive sleeper, I recommend ear plugs. Vincenzo allowed us to leave our bags for the day after check out and gave us a key to access the front door when we came back to retrieve them—much appreciated.

Very cozy apartment in the city center, nicely furnished and close to many restaurants, coffee shops & main attractions. The owner was very nice and he offered us good info around parking, restaurants and places to go. The courtyard is beautiful and nice location to relax or to enjoy time with friends or to take the breakfast ☕️🥐☀️!

The property was very comfortable clean and secure with a locked gate. It had a lovely courtyard for breakfast. Our host was always asking if we needed anything. He even got in early on our day of departure to make us a coffee before catching our train. He even gave us great inside tips for the local area which came in super handy !!

Our host Vincenzo was kind, helpful and funny. And he makes a very good morning cappuccino. Our room was very clean and it had a spacious shower. Also, very accessible to restaurants and the city center. Beautiful garden for breakfast.

This is no reflection on the property but if coming from the train station, be prepared for a 10 -15 minute walk if you can’t find a taxi.

The room was comfortable and very clean and the location is perfect. Vincenzo was very responsive in our communication prior to our arrival and very helpful by recommending what we could do in Como during the time we had and made the stay in Como even better. if we return to Como we will definitely book again a room in this place. Really good price and benefit.

I really enjoyed my stay at Carducci. Everything was really clean and the atmosphere was so comfortable, the host made me feel as part of family. Very friendly host. The surrounding, even though is in the centre of the city, is really quite. What we enjoyed the most was the terrace where we had breakfast, but could also stay in the evenings to talk. I would recommend to everyone.
