Where do I begin! This family owned B&B was an impressive property both in appearance and hospitality. Vincenzo and Veronica were so welcoming from the very start, going above and beyond in service and accommodating our every need. They were both very informative upon our arrival, giving us tips on how to best navigate around Como and its surroundings. Our daily breakfast was an impressive assortment of quality pastries, coffee, juice, yoghurt and bread. The property itself was very well kept, clean and with hand picked decor. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the lake and in the heart of the stores and the Basilica. We paired this wonderful stay with Ristorante Rovelli, just meters from Carducci, with amazing food, and amazing service. We cannot fault anything at Carducci. Our family loved our time there so much, that a return visit is imminent . Our time at Como and Carducci was regrettably not long enough, therefore there is no other choice, but to stay at Carducci again, when we return. Bellissimo!!!Bravo Carducci!!!

We stayed in a small apartment complete with a kitchen/sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything was spotless and decorated in a charming, cozy way, which added to the welcoming feel. The host Vincenzo is smiley, warm, and friendly, and makes you feel right at home. The Italian breakfast is served in a beautiful inner courtyard and includes coffee, juice, yogurt, pastries with jam, and gorgeous cookies. A real treat! The location is perfect: close to the lake and within the pedestrian zone, and with nearby restaurants and the city market only a block away.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The only tiny improvement could be a slightly later check out time. It is 10:00, so just a half hour later could allow guests to savor their coffee and enjoy the lovely courtyard a little bit longer. But this is a minor thing and did not take away from our enjoyment at all.

Firstly, the location was excellent. It’s in the walled city area of Como, which meant that it was very easy access to anywhere that we wanted to go. We were spoiled for choice with restaurants nearby. The welcome from Vincenzo was warm and friendly. His advice on what to do given our limited time in Como was invaluable. We’d read about the fantastic breakfast offered by Vincenzo when we were booking, and it did not disappoint. The croissant were refresh every day. There was a selection of breads, jams and chocolate spread as well as coffee. We definitely felt fuelled to start the day!

Location, Breakfast, Staff, Room Decor, Very Clean, Comfort, A/C, Charm Vincenzo made us feel so welcomed and he went over and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were looking for Italian charm and we found it. The room had no issues whatsoever! Everything was working well and it looked like it was recently redone. I just loved having breakfast in the courtyard! There was more than enough food to help start your day. We loved our stay and would love to come back! I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location for a short stay, ideally located in the middle of Como, just minutes walk from the lake. Continental breakfast in a beautiful courtyard in the morning but a bistro during the day if needed. We were never there during the day. So many lovely shops, bars, restaurants all around but so quiet at night, never any disturbance. Vincenzo couldn't be more helpful too. I actually thought it was a hotel I had booked but was pleasantly surprised by this quaint but modern boutique type accommodation. Parking was a few mins walk away but that suited us as didn't use the car while there.

Honestly, for a short stay, there was nothing I didn't like.

Vincenzo is a very good host, always in a good mood and helping you with recommendations or other info you may need. The location of the guesthouse is top, right in the old center and decorated nicely. The cleaning was done every day. The breakfast is savoury and fresh.

Minor things, really, but might help other travellers to know what to expect. The parking is a bit tricky if you have a big car, so maybe good to check first. The room we had was dark with little possibility to let the fresh air in.

Vincenzo was very kind, ready to help, and suggested what you need. The room we stayed in was very clean, tidy with what you need & comfortable. The location of the house in the heart of Como had access to walking to shops, markets, bars, restaurants, pedestrians, and the lake only 8 minutes walk. Location was perfect- once we found it! It’s in a courtyard behind a gate. Very cute in terms of decor and friendly and helpful staff. Room was good size and bed comfortable and very clean. Shower was great! High quality Breakfast was served in the courtyard which was just lovely!

The bathroom was a little tight in terms of space.

Beautiful! Set in the heart of Como, yet in a secluded courtyard far from the noise and crowds, this wonderful place is far more than 'just another B&B' - it really was exceptional. The rooms are bright and airy, tastefully decorated and have comfortable beds. The breakfast was great, croissants, jam, fresh juice, yoghurt and coffee - all that you need - other items were available for an extra fee if you wanted them but what we were given was more than ample. The owner, Vincenzo, was fabulous in terms of communication and was a super chap who had a lovely personality. All I can say is don't bother looking around for other places because you will be hard pushed to beat Carducci ;-)

On arrival, after train delays, we arrived at 1.08pm, eight minutes after the commencement of the advertised check in time which is between 1.00 and 3.00pm Vincenzo was a bit frosty but soon warmed up and gave us a friendly Italian welcome, giving us lots of great advice on exploring Como. Our room was stylish and comfortable but with it's close proximity to adjoining rooms, we heard every move and conversation that our noisy neighbours made. We were disappointed when on day two when the room was serviced, the two coffee pods were not replaced and with no jug provided, we could not even make a cup of tea. Coffee cups were not washed up either. . Sara was beautiful, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very basic.
