Cute little hotel, family run and you can tell. It’s very traditional, which is rare these days. We loved it! Rooms were clean, well equipped with hairdryer,kettle,towels etc. Staff were amazing! Such a warm and friendly welcome. Mattia was especially helpful, he was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful, yoghurts, granola, croissants, jam, eggs, bacon, pancakes! We even had a glass of champagne on arrival as I had said it was my partners birthday trip. They helped us find the greenway path down to Lenno port. Lovely little walk through cobbled alleyways. So picturesque! Very happy with our stay.

We had a lovely stay here in the penthouse suite - very very spacious with air-conditioning, a great view, great bathroom and kitchen facilities. The breakfast was good and offered eggs and coffee. Convenient location as we wanted walking distance to the nearby Villa De Balbiano (30mins walk). Cute streets with a few good restaurants around too.

No elevator so be prepared for a few tight stairwells. The bar staff didn't speak English very well so that was a hiccup, but the hotel staff (I think the daughter of the original owner) was very lovely and attentive. Restaurant on site has limited options but was still tasty.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was amazing. Even though we came earlier than the check-in time, the room was already ready, and we could leave our bags and enjoy our day. The room had a breathtaking view of Lake Como, and we were lucky to see Villa Balbiano right from our balcony. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from the very beginning. Breakfast was included and delicious—orange juice, coffee of choice, meat and cheese plate, omelet, pastry, yogurt with sweets—everything was fresh and nicely presented.

There was nothing we didn’t like—everything exceeded our expectations.

The laid back atmosphere is right up my alley. I'm not saying they are not serious about their work. The place is a well oiled machine. The staff is polite, the service is impeccable, the place is clean, comfy, the location is awesome, and it looks like they are doing it without a sweat. The place is on the Greenway del Lago di Como path, which is a great way to get to know the surrounding villages. Also it is cca 50 metres from the lake and the ferry. So - awesome location. The room was fantastic, clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great, pretty good choices. The one time I had dinner at the restaurant, the food was delicious, the service impeccable, yet laid back, I enjoyed it very much. Public parking is available near the place, which is a great plus if you get there by car. All in all, awesome place, awesome people. Will be back!

I absolutely loved this hotel. A family run (I think) charming and quaint hotel in the beautiful Lake Como town of Lenno. I stayed 3 nights as I was attending a wedding and thought the room was perfect. Very, very clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and spacious room (I stayed in the room which can fit 3 people) with a lovely balcony with 2 chairs which had a stunning view of the mountains. The location was great too, quite tucked away and only a 20/5 minute walk to the ferry terminal of Lenno. On the way to the terminal there’s lots of cute restaurants and 2 supermarkets which was handy. The breakfast was really great also, had a great selection. The staff were lovely and I felt at home here. I’d love to return here!

Nothing- I loved it all!

This small hotel is linked to a very high quality restaurant. The room was incredibly well equipped with the highest quality of very expensive furniture that one can find only in a high level house and all was "impecable". The location was perfect and the whole atmosphere was the best that you can imagine in a magic and clean place like Lenno Lake Como. I would definitely go there again to taste this unique experience

Location in a very charming part of town, Close to the lake (50 m), close to hiking trails, right on the Lake Como Greenway, free parking, delicious full breakfast, view, spacious room, dog friendly, very good restaurant downstairs for dinner

We had to ask for the heating to be turned on, but it was turned on and it was warm after all :) a little carpet would make the room more cosy. The bathrooms could use making sure there is no mold etc. There wasnt a lot of it but, should be 0 :)

Great staff, room was big and comfortable enough, breakfast well tailored. Good value for money. It's a simple place, but everything went well. We could even see a bit of the lake/mountains from the window 😛

There's no lift as far as I can tell. It wasn't a problem for us, but I think it's worth mentioning in case of mobility issues.

We had the most amazing stay at Il Grifo. Our room was huge and the views were stunning. Every single employee at the hotel was wonderful. They went out of their way to help us out when we needed help getting around the lake and truly went above and beyond. We also were able to have breakfast and it was delicious. We can’t wait to stay again

This place was like a postcard, could have spent a week just looking out the window. The breakfast was amazing extremely generous and everything was delicious. Staff were lovely, gave advice and helped us book a car when we left. Book in at the restauraunt, everything we had was delicious.

There is nothing I didn't like
