Luca and his team were fabulous, in particular Massimo and Roberta were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, offering suggestions of some of the best places to visit (Balcone d'Italia is a must see). Our last dinner in the hotel was a fabulous selection of cold-cuts and cheeses and a signature pasta dish cooked for us by the head chef - Massimo! The room, with its wrap-around balcony provided stunning views out over the lake and the mountains, and we had the sun all day.

Lovely pool area, never too busy. Beautiful views from our balcony and great value for Como. We booked the lake view room with balcony. Our adult children had the standard room which was smaller. The room was newly refurbished with good air conditioning and comfortable bed. The staff were super friendly - the guys running the bar and breakfast made us feel very welcome. I loved the location: we walked down to a local bar at the bottom of the hill for drinks and dinner, 20 minute walk along the greenway or lake front to more restaurants and bars and the ferry to other parts of the lake. I liked that we had Como views without the road noise that hotels closer to the lake would have, although it was an uphill walk back after a day out/evening out.

There was no kettle, and I do like to make a cup of tea. However, the bar staff provided me with hot water in a large tea pot so I could have my tea. Standard room did not have a fridge. Otherwise nothing - we really liked it here.

My stay at Albergo Villa Edy was truly a wonderful experience. The reception staff – Michele, Roberta, and Gianluca – were extremely helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind, making me and my girlfriend feel very welcome from the first moment. The room was excellent: spacious, very clean, and perfectly comfortable. Dinner was also a highlight of my stay, with delicious food and great service. A special mention goes to Massimo, the chef/waiter, whose humor and friendliness really made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable stay. We will definitely come back!

Fabulous view from our room, in my opinion it was worth paying extra for. Good to have the pool for cooling off after a long day sightseeing. A couple of lovely walking routes down to the town.

Breakfast wasn't great, especially the coffee :-( We ate there one night and the food wasn't great either but it was our choice not to eat elsewhere and we hadn't expected fine dining! Came back at 21.55 on the Sunday to find the side gate was already locked (property told us it's locked at 22:00) so had to go down & uphill to get round to the main gate! No plug in the bathroom basin?!?

Beautiful setting, room was large and airy! View from balcony was fabulous! Staff were really helpful, we had a couple of small issues that were dealt with really quickly! Whole hotel is extremely clean

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, to sit outside with a cup of tea in the morning on a beautiful balcony would have been great! Also no glasses in the room for having a drink of water/soft drink or wine! Limited menu in the evening and breakfast limited also

The property is in a fantastic location. It is quiet, serene and just absolutely gorgeous. There are a few options close by for food and drink. The nature walk is also very close by which makes a lot of things accessible. This property is definitely for relaxation and leisure. We celebrated our engagement here, so our days were slow and relaxed and it was perfect for that.

You should probably rent a car if you are traveling here. Luckily, we did not have an issue, but taxi service can be unreliable and expensive. If you want to travel to another area, you’ll need a car. The bus is available, but it is unreliable as a consistent transportation. Usually it is 2 hours between buses, so you’ll have to plan ahead. The roads are very narrow so renting a car can be a little scary if you’re not an Italian who is used to these roads.

The property was in a peaceful well manicured garden setting nestled on hills of lake Como It offered 100 % peace and tranquility . The staff treated us like longtime friends and had pride in what they did daily.

Everything was to be liked . It was perfect for us but car is needed also not a good place for small children. The hotel is geared for adults looking for peace and rest

This is a great option for seeing Lake Como on a budget. The staff was understaffed the day we arrived and still helped us with every aspect of checking in and getting situated. We rented a small boat and the staff helped ahead of time with a recommendation that turned out to be an awesome way to see all the sites around Tremezzo. Also a tennis court on site.

Nothing that I didn't like, the only word of caution, my friend is less mobile and the hotel sits up on a hill a small distance from town. I loved the location, but if you or someone in your group has any mobility problems, be aware that driving to/from town will likely be necessary.

The facilities are being very well kept, spacious rooms and parking area. Most members of staff were fantastic, very responsive, always with a smile in their face. They did not charge 16 eur for what was a very poor meal, meant to be regional and, in Italy, fresh. Breakfast had a reasonable choice, considering the size of the hotel, bread was soft/long life but seemed fresh. The eating area was pleasant, nice music.

One member of staff/owner decided to talk in Italian in my presence about me to the other staff. I think this was very discourteous, even rude. The point she was making is about the fact the hotel had to admit they do serve meals but the food is not freshly prepared. Essentially having a mixed chicken nuggets type of milanese cottoletta with some rewarmed chips that I had asked and been told were cooked "in the oven" (perhaps microwave oven?)... While counting the cash they had in the till, the lady was arguing with the other manager that the hotel should not refuse to charge the 16 eur for that rewarmed meal.

Overall Great : Real pluses = location plus help when we were stuck in Como . Pool an Tennis court really nice but pool cold ( in September ) Little things - kitchen could do with more kitchen equipment ..eg. a kettle ...cooking utensils etc and the breakfast was ok ...not great ...But don't get me wrong . Where you sit and eat the breakfast is fab and the Atalanta supporter adds some fun
