Exceeded all expectations. Amazing for a 3 star hotel. Spotless, friendly staff. Amazing views of the lake and mountains. Ferry and bus stop across the road. Had the pool to ourselves on many occasions, loads of sun beds to lie on. Amazing location, quieter than other towns around the lake like Bellagio and Varenna but we preferred staying in Tremezzo and doing day trips from there to the other towns. Will definitely be back!!

Breakfast was average and a lot of traffic noise but that’s to be expected as the hotel is along the road

Breakfast was lovely, great variety and view overlooking the lake. Room was lovely, everything very clean. Fresh towels everyday. Music in the bar at night. Swimming pool was nice and a few areas with sunbeds and umbrellas. Restaurants to the left of hotel and little supermarket to the right beside bus stop. Ferry across the road. Beautiful area for walking.

On check in receptionist said there was no other restaurants to eat in other than hotel ones, nice restaurants beside the hotel to the left. Jacuzzi didn't work.

Incredible Location & a great place to base yourself to explore the towns around Como while avoiding busy Como city. My room was very small and I didn't book a view. However the view from the restaurant at breakfast more than made up for it! The staff were excellent, especially the barista at breakfast who remembers your name and makes great coffee every morning. Also the bar staff downstairs were fantastic. A short walk to see the famous Hotel Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta. And the ferry stop is literally across the road from the hotel and there is a bus stop outside (but be warned they're never on time). Very easy to buy a ticket at the ferry stop to explore the other towns on the lake. Some great little restaurants a short walk away. I recommend Vittoria 1894 (keep walking past Hotel Tremezzo). Getting there - I Highly recommend having a car/taxi to get to this hotel if you're staying up in the mid-lake area as I found the public transport extremely unreliable (although I was travelling at the peak of the busy summer, the busses were sometimes over an hour late, sometimes too full to fit more passengers and the ferry lines to leave Como were also hours long and often sold out).

Good value for money. Hotel right in front of the ferry stop. Lots of restaurants and activities around the area. Farmacia right down the hotel. Staff was accommodating and speaks English. Room was big enough and bed/AC surprisingly comfortable. Cleaner than most hotels we’ve been in. Breakfast was good (eggs and croissant were perfect). Very understanding for early and late checkout, dind’t incur any fees.

Did not affect our stay but recommend to have some of the dented scratched furnitures (table, bed frames, cabinet) be repaired for a more pleasing aesthetic. Also, adding room slippers would be more fitting for guests who choose not to bring their shoes indoors. Pool area right beside a residential house so it felt a bit off. Had a man by his veranda fuming his cigar while we relax.

Fabulous location, right next to ferry stop to explore other towns and villages on Lake Como, also bus stop right outside. Pool was a welcome place to relax after a day exploring. Lake view room is breathtaking, however be aware it's noisy, overlooking main road so busy all day and night. If you need quiet to sleep, get a room away from road, I struggled on night to sleep due to traffic.

Everything was great until the final night when the ac in our room broke. We couldn't figure out how to fix it, went down to reception and the guy on there was very abrupt and not helpful at all. Very short with me and my husband, basically said nothing they could do, and we had it on wrong setting, even though the maintenance guy didn't know how to fix it either, and it didn't matter what we did to the control panel air wasn't coming out. He was rude, and said should of told us earlier. Said they would find a fan to bring up, but it never materialised, so last night was very hot and uncomfortable.

Could not speak highly enough of this hotel. We had a fantastic stay. The view from the lakeside room was beautiful to wake up to every morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem for them and anything we asked for they were more than happy to help us with. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options and is out on a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. The rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. A/C in rooms which was a great help in the heat. The pool area was lovely and clean with a decent sized pool. The hotel is in a fantastic location with the ferry pick up point directly across from the hotel and bus service also picking up right outside the door. Ideal location for exploring other areas of the lake by ferry. Plenty of lovely restaurants only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

We had 2 rooms for 4 people. The one, very small thing, was that the shower in the single room was very small. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Before we arrived we read some negative reviews about this hotel but we genuinely couldn't fault it. It was fantastic. I guess some people just like to complain for the sake of it.

I was disappointed about the restaurant. I had a dinner there, I was expecting to have a good food and wasn't, even on the breakfast. The restaurant need to be cleaned as well, glass on the table was dusting. We are lost on the entrance nobody came properly for to guide us. This is why , on my opinion , the reason which I don't give a better rating for the hotel. Another point is about the external area, even on the winter time should be care for who is enjoying the hotel. I don't mention about the swimming pool, I mean all the area around

The property is idyllic, and located in the most magical location right across from the lake with a terrific view of all of the Lago di Como. Our room had a balcony that I could’ve stayed put at for our entire vacation, that’s how lovely it was. The room was spacious, clean, and Well equipped. The bathroom was big and offered yet another glorious view. The hotel has great staff and the restaurant attached was a nice back up for dinner and drinks (although we ate nearby at La Locanda). The bus station and ferry station are both a 2 min walk from the hotel doors- so that’s convenient. Staff was courteous, the booked us an early morning taxi. Loved this spot!

Got loud from the music at restaurants at night.

The location is perfect, just in front of the lake, which means really a lot, since you don't have to walk far or even uphill (which can be very exhausting during the warm summer) to reach the ferry, restaurants, have a walk along the lake, the villa Carlotta... Also, considering, the hotel is 3 stars only, it had quite a good breakfast with eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit etc, which was surprising for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, my room was quiet, since it was facing a narrow passage of a street without any cars. Also the room had all necessary items, like extra blanket, soap, shower cap etc.

I booked a single room without lake view, since I was traveling for work only and was out of the hotel from the morning to the night, I have chosen the cheapest room. However, it is a bit dark, the windows are not transparent, so you cannot see to the outside. If I was travelling for vacation, I would recommend to book with lake view, if the budget allows, however, it might be noisy, since it is located also at the road. However, for my purpose it was all good enough and I am super happy with my choice and would come back again.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel on Lake Como! It offers fantastic value for money. The view from my room was simply breathtaking, with a stunning panoramic look over the lake. The service was excellent as well. Even though it’s a three-star hotel, they cleaned the room every day. The staff welcomed me warmly, and communication was smooth both through Booking.com and via email. I was overall very satisfied with my stay. The location is also perfect, and the hotel restaurant downstairs is a gem. We had such a delicious and hearty meal with generous portions and great service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Como!
