🏠Location: * The hotel is located in the perfect location close to the main attractions (you can go by feet there) and main train station (4 minutes walk, but you never here the noise from there!). * The airport is only 15-20 minutes away via public transport (Bus 1). ☕️Breakfast: * Very good breakfast with the diverse choice: eggs (scrambled, boiled), bacon/sausages, different varieties of meat, pastries, muesli etc. * There were never a huge queue in the breakfast area and there were always a table to choose. * The food is tasty! 🏢 Room: * The room was spacious and cozy. * The heating worked good with the comfortable temperature
Overall stay was good, so we didn’t find any huge disappointments.

Excellent location in the coty center. Good bus connection to the airport and Old City. 10 minutes walk to the railway station even with luggage. Good rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. Possibolity to leave luggage at the reception desk. Good option to stay for a night or few dys.
A little bit old fashioned hotel. Not very comfortable room for breakfast. As I was in the hotel in the peak of tourist season, I waited for a free table to take breakfast. Not everything available at the buffet, so I waited 15 minuted for the next supply of eggs. Also no available clean spoons. I also waited to finish wasing procedure to get a spoon. Some better organisation will be necessary.

Very nice room with a distant view of the old city and a cute little balcony. Very convenient location of the hotel for both sightseeing Bergamo and traveling further out for for example day trips (super close to the train and bus station).
A very strange setup in terms of bathroom hooks. There's place for basically only one big towel to hang in this bathroom and the small towels have to hang over the toilet which isn't ideal. If you come to the hotel breakfast a little bit later you might experience some holdup due to lacking cutlery or mugs, but the staff is doing their best to fix it, so the wait isn't long. Other than this, not much to complain about. Generally very positive experience with the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast offers plenty of options, the rooms are spotlessly clean—as is the rest of the hotel—and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The location is fantastic, right in the center and close to nearly everything. The hotel staff are friendly and always willing to help.
The only area for improvement would be the availability of clean tables during breakfast. I understand that during peak hours it can be challenging to reset tables quickly, but this aspect could definitely be enhanced to improve the overall experience.

We asked for a quiet room, and we were definitely given the quietest room that the hotel had - though, as it is located at a busy road junction, there was still some external noise from traffic. The hotel is not in the old town, but frequent buses meant that this was not a problem - and the hotel is ideally located for the airport bus, the train station (1 hour to Milan), and the bus station (1 hour to Lake Iseo). The room was very clean, the shower worked well, as did the air-conditioning, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff attending to the room did an excellent job. Breakfast was plentiful, including pastries and hot food. Fruit juice was available in reception, which was helpful in the very hot weather.
Unfortunately, early check in was not possible, though the hotel did say it would try to do this for us. Other drawbacks were very minor: the coffee machine in the breakfast room is quite slow, and this did lead to small queues at times. I would like more vegetarian hot food available for breakfast. The fruit juice in reception was very popular and needed replenishing towards the end of the day.

Hotel Mercure is in a perfect location, only 5 min walk from railway station.Situated in the centre of Bergamo and as you leave the hotel with many cafes and restaurants. My room was on the third floor accessible by two very good lifts.i had a very nice room with a large bathroom with a large glass screened shower cubicle, the rain fall shower is amazing,so much power in it and there's a hair dryer for the ladies. The bed was very comfortable with 2 normal and 2 square pillows. The air-conditioning was a great help as it was in the 30ties for the 3 days I was there, slept better there than I do at home.Breakfast was basic with all the normal stuff, cereals, fruit, fruit juice, cheese and a selection of cold meats, hot food was boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, frankfurters and crispy bacon.Had two lovey automatic coffee machines.Overall I would recommend this hotel, might seem £100+ a night a little expensive but you can't be in a better location.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Location was good. Parking very close but had to work out where to park. Street name would be good to include on the booking, as whilst we found one very close, it was just luck. Driving in a different city in another country is challenging and any help is good in terms of suggested parking locations.
Front of house staff friendly, others in restaurant did not make any effort to greet. They appeared to be staff from the hotel who were collecting drinks but a good morning would be pleasant or courteous. Bedroom safes could not be worked in either of the allocated rooms. This wasn’t reported as we were only there for one night.

Good breakfast, good bed, great location.
The room or the gym didn't match up with the 4 stars level. Some details were not working, for example the curtains in the room or some gym equipment. The gym is really small so don't expect a full workout. The sauna is not open for everyone, I think they asked for 25€ extra for the sauna so I didn't go. They should mention that in the description. It was also not available at all when I asked to use the sauna and the shower. I would have paid obviously the sauna fee but they denied it saying that the shower in the sauna is for "decoration purposes" only. Would have been a nice idea after spending the whole day in the city in the heat since my departure was in the evening.

Very convenient and well placed at walking distance from the train station. The old city is about 15 mins by bus. The room 324 was clean and confortable. I appreciated the large bathroom. The breakfast is nice and diversified. There are a lot of good restaurants around the hotel.
The hairdryer was not hot enough for its purpose. In the room there are only paper cups available, no real tea cups. It was quite warm in the room, and I'm not sure if the AC was working correctly. I opened the window and I was personaly not bothered by the relative noise, but I know others would be. I think the service breakfast could be improved by being more efficient at cleaning faster the tables.

Very close to the train station, comfortable mattrasses and pillows
1. Our room was on the side of the courtyard, and during both nights of our stay, there were people talking in that courtyard for a few hours, and due to écho effect, it was very loud; 2. Very limited breakfast options, plus a very stressed lady who is in charge of making every guest arriving to the breakfast to sign a paper in order to pay it at the check out; 3. Breakfast space is small, and many people were wondering around trying to find a place at some table
