We had a balcony room overlooking the lake, and it was certainly worth it to wake up to the view! The location was brilliant, on check in we were advised where the free and paid for parking was (which was very close) and the hotel is only a few minutes walk from the centre and harbour. Large comfy bed, not a huge room but standard for the area and it was perfectly adequate for our week long stay. Breakfast was one of the best we have had, plenty of choice including Gluten free options, and the serving staff were always helpful and pleasant. Reception staff were always polite and welcoming.

Only a couple of minor things which would make it more comfortable but are not dealbreakers! - there was no mirror in the room itself which would have been useful. There were only sockets via extenders on either side of the bed, which the hotel had to provide us adapters for. The Mini bar price list was also not in the fridge for the first day which was a bit annoying when it appeared the day after and we had already made use of it!

Nothing - But it would be perfect if guests have some shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom as I didn’t bring any with me. (There was only hand soap). I thought they would be provided but that was my mistake for not checking or asking Reception. If the hotel does provide them in the future, a refillable bottle dispenser attached to the wall with a shower gel and shampoo would be great and more cost effective than having to provide miniature samples which I know some guests often take even if they don’t intend to use them.

The hotel was right on the water - so nice to get up in the morning, with a cup of cappuccino sit on the balcony and enjoy the water view - the Prominade was right below us - staff met us although we were very late arrival / very helpful. the breakfasts were some of the best on our trip through 3 countries - lots of great fresh foods on menu. There was a lift to second floor so luggage ez to get to room - Room super clean - bath products nice - also saw a free rockin' concert in the square that was awesome! we just loved it here -

The location of the hotel is great— the lake is just across the street. There’s a small beach where you can rent sunbeds and go for a swim. Breakfast was very good, and the coffee was really tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, and the streets of Desenzano del Garda are so pretty; you can simply walk around and enjoy them. We had rooms with a lake view, and it was the best choice because the view is truly amazing. We enjoyed everything, and it was the best experience!

Breakfast was amazing, nicely presented and lots of variety - some things changed and always fresh. Air con in room was good and as quiet as you could have. Staff were happy to assist and went out of their way to help. Bar prices were reasonable. Location was good around 10 minutes to the ferry which gets you to most locations around the lake. A lovely touch was a packed breakfast as we had to leave early on the last day which was volunteered. Beach towels were also available on request.

The shower was challenging to get to the right temperature but I think this is down to the cold water pressure in the area. The roof top terrace would have been lovely with a bar but you can get drinks from downstairs for it. In the room a fridge would really have made a difference, more storage space including drawers.

The staff there, were brilliant. Very helpful, friendly and kindly sorted out transfers to and from the hotel. The breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choices. Location was good too with quick access to some restaurants and the beach. there is also a bar next door and at the hotel with good prices. What was amazing was the rooftop, the view was spectacular and its very spacious, with sunbeds there too. Its about a 10 minute stroll to the ferry.

We got a room without the balcony view, which we were happy with but it was next to the lift so it quite noisy in the mornings. Didn't really affect us much but others may find it does. Also the bar next door is quite noisy if you have a balcony room, again we were at the back of the hotel so we didn't hear anything.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Room had a nice view of the lake. Breakfast was very good with a number of options. Room was slightly dated but more than acceptable.

The bar next to the hotel was rather noisy over the weekend, there is a road on which the balcony looks onto as well as the lake, which may get noisy from time to time.

The location is near the city centre and easily accessible. Furthermore, there is a private beach at the other side of the road where you can rent 2 beds and an umbrella for €16 for the whole day!! The breakfast was very nice and variable, the bed in our room was also outstanding!!

Only thing that was a downside is that the corridor was noisy in the morning, you could hear people walking down with their flip-flops very easily.

Location fantastic.. roof top terrace lovely. The breakfast choice was amazing and lovely that you can eat on the terrace at the front …. It is a shame the hotel doesnt have a restaurant to offer lunch and dinner anymore as it would have been nice to have had dinner in however we had a drink in the bar and picnics on the rooftop with an amazing view of the lake The staff are all fabulously friendly and efficient and the cleanliness of the room each day was excellent

Nothing really!

The staff was very friendly and useful! The location of this hotel is great too - good restaurants and the center in walking distance. Close to the train station to so it is really easy to go for some day trips too. A big plus was that we did not need to use the AC and our room still had a nice temperature even though it was pretty warm outside.

Our double bed was just 2 beds joined together so I often woke up in the gap between when it moved during the night. Also, it was a bit noisy - our room was at the first floor and we could hear literally every person going up or down the stairs or taking the shower.
