Great hotel in the heart of Desenzano. Our room looked directly out onto the old harbour and a number of cafes and restaurants. We we're concerned about possible noise but the windows and shutters The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Air-con was ideal as it was very hot during our stay. Breakfast was great with a huge range of items. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave unexpectedly early on our final day due to a train strike but the staff were really good in arranging a taxi and allowing us to take breakfast well before usual start of service. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

Amazing location, right next to Porto Vecchio and several piazzas which has great options for food and bars and also next to the ferry port which can take you to most places on the lake. Staff were very helpful with information about transport and our stay. The rooms were cleaned daily, and we were impressed by the sound proofing considering the road outside.

The room was a little basic considering it was a deluxe lake view room, there wasn't much furniture in the room and the bathroom wasn't very modern, but the views and balcony were amazing and the main reason we went for the room. The breakfast was fine, but had signs up saying not to takeaway food and drink, which feels a bit mean considering it will mostly be thrown away and the amount we'd spent.

Breakfast and staff were top notch, the breakfast selection was very large and never got bored of the food. We stayed a week and would 100% stay here again and again. We had a room with the panoramic balcony which was absolutely wonderful, people watching and the views of the marina and lake were amazing. The cleaning staff was great kept our room tidy and clean with fresh towels daily. The staff were wonderful and really made our stay memorable, were always there to answer our questions and to help in any way they could.

Our bed was a little hard for my taste, but my husband didn't have an issue with it.

The hotel is very nice and modern, everything was spotless. Shower was great & location was perfect. Couldn’t hear a thing with the windows shut and curtains were basically blackout which was fab. Staff were brilliant, so helpful and friendly, always around and can help with anything. I felt safe here. Perfect place to get a ferry to different areas, I went to Sirmione twice, lovely place, Spa is good too.

Room could be a bit bigger, even by myself it was difficult to find places for my things. A mirror by the table and chair would be ideal for makeup and skincare. Pillows could be thicker

The breakfast - we had such a selection of food - everything was so fresh and beautifully presented.I am gluten intolerant and had informed the hotel of this before my visit and I was given gluten free products each morning. The staff - from the time of booking to departure- fantastic - very helpful. Cleanliness - it was spotless. The hotel is looking out onto the lake and when the sun was shining - view was beautiful. Very good area to base yourself while in Lake Garda - close to railway station and boats which can bring you to the little towns/villages on the lake.

Nothing we did not like.

We loved our two nights in Hotel Vittorio. We treated ourselves to a room with a view of the lake and balcony and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is right beside the small marina with many restaurants in the vicinity. It was a couple of minutes walk to the dock where you can catch a ferry to Sirmione (€6 return) and other destinations around the lake. The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby (300 metres) car park and for €11 per day we left the car securely (but could come and go as we pleased). The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is one of the best we’ve had - lots of fresh fruit, savoury items, pastries etc. Highly recommended - we hope to return one day.

The hotel is located right across the street from the lake promenade, very close to the ferry station, which was convenient. The room was spacious with a balcony and a terrace overlooking the lake. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious dishes and desserts. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We were happy with our stay.

There was one complimentary bottle of water in the room when we arrived. We thought the hotel could be more generous with things like water, coffee, and tea after breakfast.

The location was fantastic. Views from the platinum suite were immaculate. The suite we booked was very spacious and had all the required amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and as someone with food allergies they were happy to cook my breakfast separately with clean utensils to ensure a lower risk of cross contamination. Breakfast itself was pretty good and had a nice variety to choose from.

Hotel Vittorio has a perfect location in the center of Descenzano in front of the lake Garda. The staff at the reception was very friendly, they explained us easily where and how to park our car in the parking not far from the hotel. The breakfast was perfect, croissants, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese but also cereals, fruits and cakes with a true Italian cappuccino, there was everything you need.

There was nothing to complain about.

Fantastic location, right in the centre. Clean with excellent air con. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The buffet style breakfast was superb, lots of choice from beautiful fruit to pastries, cheeses, cold meats, hot cooked bacon and eggs. We had one of the 4th floor rooms with big balcony - super for people watching. Comfy bed too!

No parking (but parking was an easy 5 mins walk). No space for a pool which would have been nice to cool off as it was so hot.
