The hosts were extremely helpful. Our plane was late and we had to leave very early in the morning, but they helped us every step of the way: they made arrangements for transportation and even prepared a breakfast for us to-go. Also, the room was super clean and stocked with some beverages and other practical items.

Spotless, comfortable, peaceful. Hosts Danila and Costantino are very kind and responsive. My flight arrived at 8 am and they offered to keep my bag until the room was ready. They then got the room ready soon after so I could check in, which was greatly appreciated. I had to leave at 4 am the next day for my flight so they provided a nice bagged breakfast with a sandwich, fruit cup, and juice. Separate entrance for the guest rooms, so it feels very private. Lovely garden with a chicken coop, fruit trees, and two of the cutest dachshunds ever. I recommend their external transport service. Driver Paola who took me to and from the airport was wonderful and gave me lots of local tips. A Eurospin supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot as well as a number of restaurants. (The hosts provide a map and opening hours for the restaurants.) If you have time, I highly recommend the 15-minute walk to the beautiful nature park and archaeological area of the ports of Claudius and Trajan. There is also a weird park with giant sculptures on the side of the road that you can visit on the way. When I was there, a very nice panini food truck was parked across from the weird sculptures. :)

Constantin was an excellent host. On arrival and departure he greeted us and helped us upstairs with our luggage. He even took us to the airport for a nominal fee. We had stayed there previously and he provided an excellent breakfast. He went above and beyond. Cute little room, everything you need for a brief stay. Immaculate. Bathroom with all new fixtures. We had to leave for the airport at 4:00AM, and he prepared a nice breakfast to go. An absolute bargain for the price. I would definitely like to stay there again.

The only things- the hair dryer was not working in the bathroom, so I had to let my hair air dry. There was no top sheet on the bed. Other than those minor things, our stay was perfect.

The host was very friendly and helpful. He packed us a cute little brown bag breakfast to take with us to the airport for our 5 am departure.

It was a long walk to get to anywhere to eat and there was no nearby bus stop. We had to walk and the restaurant was closed so we ended up walking over two miles. IF you plan on taking a taxi or use the service they provide for a fee, this is not a problem. I just did not anticipate this. This was not the fault of the facility. I just did not check closely enough. This ended up costing a lot more in transportation fees than I anticipated.

Fuimocino (5 min from FCO/Rome airport) When choosing this B&B I only wanted a place near the airport for our early morning departure. I wish I could have arrived a little sooner and stayed a little later. The room was a king size (2 twins together) with a nice bathroom, closet, desk and two side tables. Outside the room was a living room and small kitchen. We could have stayed here and actually cooked with the amenities available. It was safe, quiet and clean. It was literally 6 minute drive to the airport. Since we were leaving early and couldn’t enjoy the breakfast our host packed us a fabulous breakfast with fruit cup, croissant, juices, and a breakfast sandwich. He was sweet and charming, he insisted on helping us with our luggage up the flight of stairs and was there bright and early to help bring it all back down. Thank you!! We had such a lovely short stay.

Nothing, it was superb.

The Host made me a to go breakfast because I had an early flight, very kind. Beautiful yard, flowers, fruit trees, and lovely, very clean, modern room, and private bath. Shared with one other room the kitchen, dining and living room. Loved the plate of cookies! Walked 1/2 hour to the scenic port for a fish dinner. The Host arranged my shuttle to and from the airport that I really appreciated.

Between 11 pm and 1 am it sounded like Jets were taking off from my room. To be expected being so close to the airport.

Let's start with the owners/hosts, Daniella and Constantino, who were were both delightful personally and extremely helpful in answering questions about restaurants and local transport, and in helping us get out the door for our very early-morning flight (they even packed us a breakfast to take to the airport!). The B&B lives up to the "piccolo" name—just two guestrooms plus a common area/kitchen—but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped bathroom, comfortable bed, roomy balcony off our room. Breakfast was extensive, and, despite the property's proximity to Fiumicino Airport, we rarely heard air traffic (which is likely an issue for any hotel or B&B in the area). We were very happy with the property.

Our "dislike" list was short: It's a bit of a schlep into Fiumicino proper, and the cornettos served at breakfast weren't to our taste...but there were so many other options—yogurt, granola, cheese, fruit–that we didn't miss them.

The property was clean and beautifully decorated. There was a gorgeous separate small kitchen and dining area. The property was within walking distance of restaurants and shops and right near the Tiber river. Costantino was very helpful with giving us information about where to eat and what to do in the area. Our plane did not leave until later in the day and he allowed us to leave our bags there until we were leaving. The airport was about a 5 minute drive and we were able to organise a shuttle through Costantino. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Piccolo.

Organised a transfer to and from the property for €10 each way, located between 5 and 10 mins drive from the airport. A very nice welcome from the host and was able or order some food to the house for dinner. Breakfast was provided in the morning in time for my trip back to the airport. Complimentary water provided in the kitchenette (outside room).

It would have been good to have a mini fridge and a kettle in the room. There wasn’t a top sheet on the bed, and it was a bit too warm for the quilt.

The property is close to the airport. The hosts will even arrange for a shuttle to take you there for your flight (also super early in the morning) and they were super sweet and helpful. They messaged me a couple times before I came to make sure everything was clear and when I came they took the time to ensure I knew everything I needed to know. Also they gave me snacks and drinks for in my room, restaurant recommendations for if I wanted to eat out and in the early morning when I had to leave a got a little breakfast bag to take with me because I had to leave before breakfast. They were so sweet and thoughtful I really recommend staying with them!
